After we paid Jeff for services rendered, he requested an advance payment of $500 for materials and 1/2 labor for the work we agreed he would do next. He has not done the work after two months have passed with a variety of reasons for his inability to show up. We have requested that he refund, at a minimum, the portion we paid for the labor that hasn't occurred. Once we requested the refund from him, we magically received a call from somebody we do not know saying they would come the next morning to do the work on Jeff's behalf but any trust in this company had already been lost. read more

Henry and his team were great. I was impressed by their service. I contacted a number of gutter cleaning services that I found here on Yelp. Henry was the first one to call me back and despite it being a Saturday, he offered to come by and check it out in person since he was in the area. We walked around the house and he gave me an estimate and said he could do the work immediately if I was good with the price. It took me a few seconds to get past the shock of a very reasonable cost as well as getting the work done right away, but I accepted and Henry and his assistant got to work. They knocked out all sorts of crud from years of previous owner neglect. After doing the roof part of the job, they got to work cleaning up around the house. UPDATE: my money has now been returned. Jeff asked for the cost of the materials to build me a gate back in November and has never returned. He promised me numerous times over the past almost 3 months that he was "coming this week" and NEVER SHOWED UP without any communication. I then asked for a refund and he told me the gate was built and he was again "coming this week" and again no showed without any communication. So I again asked for him to either drop off the gate or materials and I would find someone else to complete the job, or give me a refund. He promised he would pay me "after his checks cleared". Which tells me it's all been nothing but lies. He never purchased the materials and certainly never built the gate like he claimed, he just took my money and ran. I called Jeff on Friday, 1-13-2023, and made an appointment for him to clean my gutters on the following Monday between 2 and 4 PM. I called on Monday morning and left a voice mail message confirming the appointment. At about 1 PM he left me a voice mail message saying that he could come on Tuesday, without even acknowledging that he was cancelling our appointment for Monday. I had scheduled my whole day around his visit, and it was too late by then to do what I could have done if I did not have his appointment. Naturally, I told him I was too annoyed to do business with him and did not reschedule. Also, the following is of concern: a) There is a link on his Yelp page for his website, but it comes up blank. b) Jeff told me he is licensed, but I could not find his name or his company's name in the California database for licensed contractors: https://www.cslb.ca.gov/ Unlike many contractors, Jeff does not show his license number on his Yelp page. read more

I had been reaching out to various handyman(s) in the Tri-Valley area with no luck for months getting excuses such as "I'm booked for the next 5 weeks" or "this is job for a general contractor since my work is for 2-4hr small projects". I just needed someone to help me replace a Moen shower cartridge, replace a kitchen faucet and fix the toilet making a whistling sound and/or periodically flushing on its own. It only took Jeff two rings on the phone to ANSWER when others say please email or take 2-3 business days to respond with our work on that and you never hear from them again. Jeff immediately asked if I could send him text photo images of the kitchen faucet, toilet and shower cartridge while including giving me his personal email should the images needed to be enlarged. After the images were sent, Jeff gave me valuable tips through the phone such as checking for leaks due to caulking around the sink, buying replacement parts for the toilet instead of replacing the toilet and mentioning about Moen's lifetime warranty so that I can save money. Therefore, Jeff is an extremely honest man who cares about his customers whether new or existing; he will treat you like family and make sure your needs are met with his knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of field. read more

I had not maintained my backyard and as a result, there were out of control weeds, dead bush shrubs, thousands of insects, and a bird's nest!
