I almost did not go with Future Plumbing because other plumbers proactively reached out to me to schedule appointments right away while I received a generic message to call Vladislav but I'm glad I did made the effort to contact him. Vladislav stopped by, gave me a very competitive price for parts and labor and got the job done in less than 30 minutes. Water pressure went from 125 psi to a more manageable 65 psi. FYI, EBMUD (Alameda county) recommended water pressure is between 40 to 80 psi with an ideal target of 50 to 60 psi. Vladislav was helpful, friendly, had the Wilkins NR3XL part in stock in his van and gave me valuable advice for tankless water heater maintenance. Future Plumbing has my "future" business!

I immediately turned off the water main, and did a yelp search. I gave them a call and sent pictures. I had an appointment for 12-2 window. They showed just before 12. Indeed, my shower parts needed replacing but they also determined that the leaking from the ceiling in the garage was from a water heater pipe spraying water on the ceiling making it look like that. They fixed the shower situation, replaced my old water heater on the spot. The price was very reasonable, i didn't want to buy into a water heater plan, just give me close to whatever I had. Amazing what those 2 did in such a short time. They know what they're doing and how to price the services such that you don't have to shop around. That was what I experienced.

We had one of our crawlspace copper water pipes spring a big leak. Thankfully we could hear it…read morespraying from inside the house and I started frantically calling plumbers in a panic. This was a Saturday, and though I shut off the water at the main, I was worried that it being a weekend, I'd either have to go the weekend without water supply to the house or pay some insane emergency service fee. After trying to contact plumbers in our immediate area with no luck (no response or closed), I saw United Plumbing and Water Heaters and how they had hundreds of reviews AND a 5 star rating! This is something I don't normally see in ANY industry and so I sent them a message from YELP and they responded right away! I spoke to the very pleasant woman on the phone and after I told her the basics of my problem (fully expecting her to tell me I would have to wait till Monday or even longer) She put me on a brief hold to check who she had out in the field. After a minute or two she came back and said she had someone who could see us in just an hour! I asked if there was fee for emergency service, or since it was the weekend and she told me no, it's just a normal visit and fee *whew!* :) Mike arrived and did everything right to put me at ease; he was pleasant, very courteous, and when I told him the leak was in the crawlspace (very tight) he had absolutely NO hestitation in opening the floor access, and shimmying under the house to take pictures of the area so he could assess. When he came back up he confirmed a copper length had failed and showed me pics of it as well as the surrounding joints that were severely corroded :( At that point he let me know he could just repair the section no problem, or cut out the area that included quite a few joints and tees that he guaranteed to me would be a problem in the very near future (just like the current one. We agreed that I would think it over for one night, and decide the next morning where he said he would come back early on Sunday with everything he needed either way. The next day he returned in the morning on time and soon after, Alex, his foreman came by as well because I had questions about doing a repipe of at least a majority of the house in either PEX or copper, but I also had many questions about a water softener install, new toilets, hose bib locations etc (lots of things with the plumbing I had always considered doing) He was very knowledgeable, articulate, and he explained things very simply and very thoroughly; Very much seeming to understand that repipe jobs were significant both in time and cost. There was no hard upsell or pressure of any kind, he simply told us what he could do and we could decide in our own time. I appreciated that! While we talked, Mike was working under the house and he finished the repair and tested and all was good! He also took the time while under there to crawl under all the pipes and let me know that a seal under one toilet looked like it was leaking. He asked us on the phone to flush the suspect toilet and then after a few minutes came up and showed us the video of the toilet leaking right when it was flushed, and the (yuck) stuff that was obviously evidence of previous leaking. He said he could replace the wax seal very soon if I wanted to make an appointment since he had to go to the next job. I agreed! We continued to talk to Alex about options with the repipe and after an hour or so Mike called back and said he could come back now and change the seal. He Did and had us flush the toilet several times to triple check there were no signs of leaks. Then he was off to yet another job after Thank you's and goodbyes :) All in all, the work, the conversations, the explanations of options, pros and cons or materials literally everything about the visit(s) was so pleasant and almost relaxing :) They are not the least expensive service, but are NOT the most expensive by far! and I will always choose quality over "a deal" I would even go so far as to categorize United Plumbing as that most rare of combinations; High quality AND a deal! I tend to stick with people who treat me well, wealready have a forever, go to electrician, now with United Plumbing and Water Heater I have a forever go-to plumbing service! Thank you! David Obando

He arrived on time, listened carefully to my preferences, and provided an estimate the same day. The estimate outlined the scope of work well, but I wanted all of the installation details clearly documented in the contract, such as the exact heat pump model and where the drain lines would terminate. So I sent about ten follow-up questions. Rochel from the office coordinated the responses and sent me a very detailed email. Every question was answered clearly, and none were skipped. Victor arrived on time for the installation, and Alex joined him later. They both listened carefully to my preferences, especially regarding how I wanted the drain lines routed. They were able to accommodate my requests while still meeting code requirements. I was especially impressed with Victor's plumbing work. The piping, valves, expansion tank, and mixing valve were all installed very neatly and professionally. Victor also came back on the inspection day. Everything went smoothly, and the installation passed inspection without any issues. Overall, I was very happy with the communication, professionalism, and quality of the work.

After having gotten a couple of quotes from highly rated larger local companies who apparently would charge a lot more, I opted to go with TTL Plumbing (thanks to ChatGPT, ha, ha). I'm done with this and will not engage further. Thank you all for reading! *UPDATE*: Tim's response to my review speaks for itself. Defensive and guilt-tripping! If I were the biz owner, I'd just apologize for the miscommunication. I'd have totally updated the review to 4 or 5 stars. I'm not even lowering my rating after his response; I'd rather stay fair than reactive. *ORIGINAL REVIEW*: I'm giving three stars because Tim, the plumber, was very nice, professional and helpful when we spoke on the phone. Unfortunately, the administrative side handled by Jade was a different story. I had booked an appointment for a drain clog and disposal repair but managed to resolve the issues myself. I messaged Jade to cancel with over 24 hours' notice to be respectful of their time and even followed up the next morning to ensure they saw the message so they wouldn't waste a trip. Instead of a professional acknowledgment, I received a lecture about how they "don't double-book" and that my 24-hour notice was "last minute." Not double-booking is standard for any plumber, and it shouldn't be used as a reason to guilt-trip a client for providing a full day's notice, especially when no specific cancellation policy was ever disclosed at booking. The response was dismissive, ending with a "wish you luck in the future." It's unfortunate because I actually had a second, larger project (a shower leak) I was planning to hire them for, but the unprofessional attitude from the office makes it impossible to do business here. If you hire them, just be aware that being respectful of their time might still result in a lecture if your plans change.

After days of waiting, making calls, and trying to coordinate with both the plumber and the warranty company, I was beyond frustrated. Having used Valley Plumbing for other plumbing work in our home, and having always been extremely pleased with their service, I decided to call them. They were wonderful! They made time in their schedule to come out the very next day to replace the water heater. As it turned out, our water heater was perfectly fine -- the switch had simply been turned off! I'm not sure how that was overlooked during the original visit, but I am incredibly grateful to Valley Plumbing for stepping in and helping us. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to help when we were frustrated made all the difference. We have always been happy with their work, and this experience only reinforced why we trust them. If you're looking for a dependable, honest, and customer-focused plumbing company in Pleasanton, I highly recommend Valley Plumbing! They truly went above and beyond, and they have certainly earned our continued business. Thank you, Valley Plumbing, for being a company we can count on!

Savior was recommended by our neighbor who previously had the same issues, and they gave a competitive quote. Jaime was excellent, completing the repairs in just a few hours. Everything worked well for a couple months until the backflow valve leaked this month. Apparently one of the reused shutoff valve parts broke and caused the leak. Jaime again fixed it quickly and efficiently at no cost since it was under warranty. Unfortunately some dirt debris was introduced into the line and the backflow valve caught it, did its job, and gushed water out the evening of the repairs when the irrigation timer came on. I spoke with Tom, Savior's owner, who explained everything that happened and came out with Jaime to discuss in person. Jaime flushed the line and reset the backflow valve. I appreciate that Tom came out to explain the situation and ensure I was satisfied with the service repairs. It's good to have the personal touch from a local company.
