The pizza is always amazing here. We started taking the half baked pizza as take out and finish the baking at home during covid closure and then continued that due to low staff and unavailable seating for a while. We had placed the same half baked order and take out , but reached the Restaurant earlier then pizza being ready. Let me tell you. I like Pizza, and this pizza is a whole other level of pizza. The sauce has a spicy to it that I wasn't expecting, but I'm so glad it was. We had a cheese calzone, Edger Allen Poe, and a Caprice's pizza. All of them were amazing. The environment is the perfect evening pizza joint with bar seating or normal tables. I loved the open kitchen view to see what they chefs were doing, so fun! The shop is located in the Streets of St Charles, next door to 5 Guys Pizza. Overall good pizza. We ordered an "entree" salad and two "13" pizzas for four people. By far, more than enough food. The meatball could use more toppings compared to the Southwest Chicken which was loaded. The house salad was delicious and also a generous sized portion for an "entree". Deweys is my favorite pizza place in St. Louis!!! It knocks them all out of the ballpark. I think the crust is simple yet flavorful. The sauce is robust and there's a good amount on the pies. I can't speak to the many different pizzas they offer because I'm a Hawaiian pizza girl but it is top notch!!!! For pineapple lovers, this pie is for you! For some, the pineapple to ham ratio might be too much for you. There is a lot of pineapples on it. For me, I consider that a perk. Prices are decent! This location is located on streets of St. Charles which is a very crowded area. One of the biggest downfalls is the lack of apps offered on the menu. I really enjoy some T-Ravs or garlic knots with my pizza but they don't offer anything of that sort. That's a bummer!!! Still my favorite pizza place and I look forward to eating it each time! Bad: - Parking was extremely difficult, Sitting within a larger complex, the lot immediately adjacent was not only very full, but people going to pick up food for take-out (incl. at Dewey's) were parked illegally all over the place, making the lot difficult to maneuver. - We walked in at 7:30p on a Saturday night, and were told 30-40 minutes to wait. (To be fair, it turned out to be 20.) The waiting area is oddly shaped, high-traffic, and awkward. But you can buy a beer while waiting. Good: - Pizza was delightful. We came here with a group of three. We sat at the bar when we came in and had to wait about 10 minutes for service. They do not have a lot to offer at the bar as far as beers and no seltzers. We ordered two pizzas a pepperoni and Buffalo. I like my pizza cooked thoroughly where it's not hanging over your hand. The pizza here is definitely droopy. Atmosphere is bright and open with a new modern pizzeria feel. While waiting for food the kids enjoyed watching the skins being tossed through the viewing window. Four of us split a large so we got half and half. Pizza came out quickly and was served with a smile. First time at Dewey's and it was excellent. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress took our drink order and returned in minutes if not seconds. The restaurant was just finishing a rush with servers and busboys on point. They have a small but good craft beer selection. We ordered house salads which have a unique blend of greens and delicious Gorgonzola cheese! We then ordered the Don Corleone with three different Italian meats. It was excellent as well with the crust being the star! Great staff, great food! Dewey's has a nice modern yet pizza parlor ambiance with great music from the 70's! I highly recommend. I love Dewey's. It's easily my favorite pizza chain in the STL area, and there are many, many options. The prices are high but the ingredients are always fresh and the quality of the pizza is outstanding. I particularly enjoy their harvest salad and seasonal pizza offerings. Dewey's seems to be a staple in the St. Louis area. Everyone that I told I was heading that way (again) told me to try. Well, its ok, just another pizza place. Menu is simple, pizza or calzone - Small, Med, Large. They have some specialty pizzas which seems the way to go. Basic starts around $9 (sauce and cheese) as you add items prices can go high pretty quickly. Server was nice and even suggested ordering a large pizza and divide what we wanted in half. I always love coming to Dewey's. Most often I opt for a Calzone but I really wanted to try one of their specialty pizzas. I went for the Dr. Dre - which is an excellent mix of chicken/bacon/ranch using an olive oil base. I wasn't sorry I did. Not sure how long they'll keep this around but it was great. I wonder if staff has been reduced during this time. Service was accommodating and positive, but we didn't see anyone from the wait staff for maybe 25 minutes once the food arrived. It wasn't because they were on break or not hustling. They were. Our server never stopped moving. From hauling new plates and ice for the bar and filling drinks, to taking new orders. She did a lot. With the dining room at half capacity - I'd have to think staff was lower than usual on a Friday night given how much everyone seemed to be doing. A little more attention - seeing if everything came out ok and if refills were needed - would have made this a 5 star review. read more

Deweys pizza and salads are just the best. We made a reservation for our first meal venturing out to eat in a restaurant since the pandemic. I felt safe at all times. Tables were spread out, servers were masked. There was an option for a qcode menu. They took every precaution. And when the food came, it was still the same standards. The porky fig is is sweet and savory and gooey and delicious. Maybe the perfect pizza. I had a salad first and it's not your standard salad. Y'all, Saturday night called for pizza. We decided to go to the old stomping grounds for some New York style pizza and wine. We used Yelp reservations and so we didn't have to wait long once we arrived. I will say parking is not great at this location, but we happened to get lucky and got a spot right out front. We ordered drinks from the bartender during our short wait. We love the Zyn-phomaniac Zinfandel. It's our favorite red they have on their menu, so a bottle was in order. For food we got a 17" half Cuban (their seasonal pizza) and half Dr. Dre. The Cuban is the reason I came, personally. An open face Cuban sandwich on a pizza! Yes please. And the Dr. Dre is the chicken bacon ranch pizza of your dreams. Our server, Kelsey, was a boss, but the whole team helped out to make our experience dynamite. Thanks Dewey's! read more

Nov. 28 we brought our family of eight to Dewey's. What a pleasant experience. To be honest, it was so nice we all were a little surprised! All staff was great! The pizza chefs were excellent! My 4 year old granddaughter was in 'awe'! The chefs were extremely engaging. Their interaction with her made her (and her Mimi) life long fans!!!!
