Best Pest Control Service We've Ever Had! We've been in business for 9 years, and Dewey Pest Control is by far the best service we've ever had. David, the manager, is amazing. He always answers our calls no matter the time, and his response time is incredible--he has shown up to our store within 20-30 minutes when we needed help. That level of reliability and urgency is rare. He's professional, dependable, and truly cares about taking care of his customers. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the results. We highly recommend Dewey Pest Control--ask for David. You won't be disappointed! read more

Nerve ever go for Dewey. They will cheat you for extra money. Waste of money. I free suggestion cheating will not surivive long term.

Love everything about Dewey pest. My mom had them before I was married and then when I moved out and got my own place I made sure I got Dave to come out and take care of our house. Dave has now moved up in the company and is in the office ( still gives us the best care there) but Kris is our service guy now and he's the best ever. They come every month and go above and beyond with service calls, my mom and all 3 of my sisters have Kris too. Dewey truly feels like family and they treat us like it as well. Don't hesitate to have them as your pest services. You won't regret it. read more

I was having an issue with rats on my property and was scared they would eventually get into the house. I called Dewey and they had a technician come out the same day. Bobby was able to help me with my issue. He did use a spray which is a rodent repellent. Haven't seen any more rats on my property which I'm very happy about. He also did point out that I might have some termite activity. They had Robert come out to do the termite inspection and were able to treat that same day! They were very prompt and professional. I highly recommend Dewey pest control for all your Pest and rodent needs. read more

David has been so helpful answering all of my pest questions and lino did a great job.

I'll start by saying we've been a customer for over 8 years, maybe longer. Within the last 2 years their services have not been up to par. We decided enough was enough so we planned to cancel our services. I called the San Jose office to cancel. When speaking to them I mentioned that I would also like a refund as services had not been completed for the current quarter. Their representative informed me that they had been out already, so no refund. My response was, they had not been out. At this point the representative accused me of lying and proceeded to inform me that their GPS had placed their service person at my home for nearly 1.5 hours (8:30a-10:00a). Along with each chemicals that were used, the representative was pretty rude at this point. I escalated the complaint when she said she could only cancel my services but a manager would be calling me back. As I waited for a manager to return my call I decided to check my Ring Cameras. As they stated their service person arrives at my home, rings the doorbell (twice) then just leaves. No services performed. Instead of a management calling me the actual service person calls me. Apparently the San Jose office called him and asked him to call me, which he did. He apologized for not servicing my home, offered a discount which I declined. I waited 4 days for a call back from Dewey San Jose, it never came. So I decided to call them back. After a bit of run-a-round the representative finally got me to the manager who was supposed to call back. Long story short, he conceded their position and agreed to my request for a refund. (6 days later no refund still) Complaint 1: charging for services not performed. Complaint 2: charging unauthorized amounts at an unauthorized time. Disappointment: accused of lying, rude behavior and misleading information (lack of refund) read more

I am so satisfied so far with Dewey Pest Control. Our technician Daniel almost always calls us a day or two as a reminder that he will be coming on such day to service our property. What I also appreciate is that on the day of the service he always asks if we have encountered any problems from the last application. And he always reminds me how long to stay away from the applied areas. Most importantly, Dewey Pest Control Works!!I tried another company and was No good, technician and whatever they applied. I am happy with Dewy Pest Control! Will continue with their services.Totally.! read more

Had Dewey for almost 4 years when I lived in southern Ca moved up here and was happy to see they served this area too so went with them. Had to cancel my service due to a move and was told I was behind 2 payments. I thought this sounded wrong but paid it all in full to cancel. Found out I actually was only 1 payment behind and that the extra payment was to cover a service that we didn't need and they won't even be doing. Asked to talk to manager and was called by David. He apologized for the misinformation but basically said he could refund me the $80 payment but would then have to charge me an extra $150 fee. What kind of solution is that??? UPDATE Husband spoke to Josh the regional manager and he was so much more professional and helpful and solved our problem for us. Thank you Josh! read more

Dewey pest control saved my life. We had a really bad invasive ant problem and tried several companies but Dewey was the only one that was effective. Seriously, we had the problem for two months and had three services from other companies before we called Dewey. One treatment and the ants were gone. That's wha I call great service. David was really nice and friendly and gave me a great price. The technician that came out was professional and on time. If you're having a pest control problem, Dewey is the pace to call. For the company I work for we hired Dewey post control as our new vendor. The service technician Luiz Lopez is super professional. Educational. And friendly. Since he has been comming he has been nothing but helpful. He goes above and beyond to make sure we are not dealing with roaches, spiders, or rodents. He assures us that if we have any kinds of problems or questions to let him know and he will take a look and take care of it. Dewey Pest Control - Pest Control Near Me - San Jose, California

Today Edgar came out to my house and sprayed for all different sorts of bugs and got rid of our yellow jacket hives. He was extremely professional and knowledgable and even cleaned up and cob webs that were around the house. I used them a couple years ago and they really got rid of our ant problem and yellow jacket problem and etc which is why I chose to use them again. I would highly recommend them based on there response time to coming out to my house(it was urgent in my book)! Edgar did a very thorough job and hopefully my bug problem will be a thing of the past. There prices are much cheaper than there competitors and they even will offer to come back one more time in the month to spray if needed. Thanks so much Edgar! Glad to do business with this company. read more

Manuel, is always courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable. He's always smiling and willing to work with us on our pest control issues. read more

Whatever you do with this company, be sure to get it in writing. We had used Dewey Pest Control for about a year without any particular problems. Then, we had them come to check a rodent problem in our attic. The service man did a 5 minute inspection and determined that there was "nothing they could do" to solve our problem. He suggested cutting back some trees and told us he was not going to charge us for the visit. We did not get this in writing... big mistake! For years they harrassed us with a $115 bill. So I would call them, speak to someone, explain that there had been no charge for the visit, and ask to see the paperwork justifying the bill. They would agree to look for the paperwork associated with the bill but then just keep sending us an invoice. Eventually they took us to collections, my husband's credit got dinged and we were forced to pay. I will never do business with this company again. read more

My technician Chris is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He has always responded to any issues I have with prompt solutions. Not to mention he's extremely pleasant and engaging. Dewey is lucky to have Chris! read more

Dewey Pest Control has been my go to exterminating company for many years. The branch manager, David, is very knowledgeable and super easy to work with. He has been more than accommodating with our very tight schedule and gets the job done. From bed bugs to ants to grain beetles, they got you covered. Recently, our technician was changed to Manuel. I normally don't handle changes well, but David keeps Manuel under his wing and so far he's been a pleasure to work with. Super nice and friendly guy. Always on time and remains professional, especially when dealing with hostile clients. Call Dewey Pest Control for your pest issues, you won't be disappointed! read more

So we started service 10 months ago but the site manager was not happy with the service so I called to cancel. I was told rudely, by the phone rep that to cancel service I would have to pay a $350 cancellation fee for them not doing a good job. My advice would be to try just about any other PC company read more

This company went into a senior living mobile home park that has a no soliciting sign at entry and took advantage of my mentally challenged Aunt...they bullied her into signing a year contract...she doesn't understand contracts unless they are explained to her in great detail by my mother...they should have never been in this community to begin with...they are now charging her a $130 fee to stop service... she is disabled and is on a small fixed income...this is a shitty franchise of what i always thought was a respectable company....ALWAYS BEWARE OF A COMPANY THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!!!!!! I will never use this company or promote this company to anyone....EVER!! And to Dewey and the bully that did this to her....YOU SHOULD BE SOOO ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! And KARMA's a real BITCH...i hope she finds you! (Now where's that number for the Better Business Bureau?) read more

Terrible customer service. I left voice messages but no one bothers to respond. I finally reached the manager and was quite unimpressed by his nonsensical excuses..... i can't understand how they got so many 5 star reviews. Extremely bad customer service. We had ant infestation inside the house. Every day called them multiple times for 4 days there was no response from them at all. Dewey Pest Control has been our service provider for over 3 years. We were initially on a quarterly service for regular maintenance. However, we recently had baby rats invade our garage due to nearby construction. They scheduled a tech to inspect and adjust our service within 2 days of my call. The technician was knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful. He set up traps and assured me of follow up support, should any critters be caught in the traps before our next service. Within 2 weeks all signs of our little visitors were gone. Our regular technician, Luis, has been wonderful during his monthly visits. He checks all traps, asks questions and goes the extra mile to ensure great customer service. I recently had a billing issue, which was quickly resolved by David. Again, another Dewey representative who showed integrity, attentiveness and professionalism. He was very courteous in going through my account and fixed the issue. Dewey's service is a little more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. Thank you David and Luis! read more

These guys are a nightmare to schedule with. The problem is they let their techs make the schedules so they try to do a weeks worth of work in 2 days a week (I mean I would too if I got to make my own schedule). If you are not available those days too bad... before you even find out their schedule, you call the office to make an appointment, but you can't speak directly with the tech so you have to leave a message with the receptionists who says they will call you back when they return, usually after 4. If you miss the call at 4:30 and try to call back at 5:01, too late, you have to call again and leave a message and wait until 4:30 to catch them and you better not miss the phone call. When you do actually reach them you basically get 2 day of any given week to choose from. In my experience, after finally scheduling something, they gave me a 2 hour window and they were late 30 minutes. It was fine, I forgave them, I know things happen. The guy who came was actually nice, which is the only reason I have 2 stars. I am still trying to schedule my second appointment and have been trying for 3 weeks now! I actually had an appointment for Monday Labor Day and they didn't show up or call, but showed up at 8:00am Tuesday. I didn't answer the door as we were sleeping and were not prepared to vacate the house. I'm still waiting to be scheduled!! read more

I've only been with Dewey for a few months and so far am underwhelmed. I initially wanted a termite inspection and spraying for wasps, spiders, ants, earwigs. Etc. initially, they had no one certified for termite inspection (they did finally get someone out here approximately a month later), but they did spray for the bugs. Well, we still have huge ants everywhere outside and some inside even after they came a 2nd time to spray. In addition, I've tried getting them out a 3rd time and they said they'd be out yesterday and that someone would call with a time, but I never got a call and no one came and even after I left several voicemails, I got nothing!!! read more
