Better than expected. We planned our trip to Olympic National Park late and had few lodging choices to choose from, and we ended up here almost by default. But we weren't disappointed. The online reservation system worked well; at time of booking they charge a one-night deposit that is theoretically refundable if you cancel before the nonrefundable deadline. Prior to arrival I started to receive automated text messages to complete the check-in process. We arrived shortly before the official check-in time but our room wasn't quite ready, so we headed into town to stroll around for a bit. When we came back well past the check-in time, the front desk staff couldn't confirm that our room was cleaned but after a short wait we were able to get into the room. The room was much bigger than expected, and we had a room with a balcony that looked out over the horse farm next door and not the parking lot, which was nice. It was decorated with a country/rustic theme. The bathroom sink is in the main room, which was convenient when someone was showering or seeing a man about a horse (look it up if you're not familiar with the phrase but it's probably self-evident by now). There's a half-size fridge and a small and underpowered microwave in the room, but it served our needs well. There aren't a lot of appealing dining options in town and some are more expensive than we were willing to pay, so we bought frozen meals at the grocery store just across the street. The front desk staff was friendly and chatty and there was coffee and hot water for tea, cider, and cocoa in the lobby. For those who need it, there are several electric car charging stations in their parking lot - an unexpected sight but certainly needed in this corner of the country. read more

Checking in was super easy as well as checking out. However, my first night here there was absolutely no hot water in the bathroom so I was not able to shower. Called the front desk and they more so sad that the other units might've used all the hot water so just be cognizant of that. I tried for a while and still no hot water all night. By the next morning, there was hot water again, but I was already leaving for the day so it didn't really matter. Kind of pricey but it wasn't a bad stay. I was pleasantly surprised by Dew Drop Inn! It was a busy weekend in Forks - a small remote town, and I needed a room that was wheelchair accessible. I first tried the Forks Motel. They didn't have anything but the front desk person called several other places to help me. (Love a small town!) Todd at Dew Drop checked and did have an ADA accessible room. It had a beautiful (apparently new) walk-in double shower and ADA toilet. Todd was exceptionally helpful. read more

Wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting for a 2 star motel. The room was large, the shower had hot water with good pressure, and wifi was strong. Really nothing major to complain about. This is your pretty basic hotel. Stayed in a two queen room. Had the basic makings of your everyday hotel. TV, baby fridge, land fill (bathroom), sink, etc.. Hotel comes with a continental breakfast. If you have been traveling in Washington and Oregon it should be pretty much what you are used to. Muffins, cereal, bagel, pastic like hard boiled, and hopefully if you get lucky the super nutritious breakfast pastry. Room was nice, clean, had an end room so it was pretty quiet. Hotel is nestled almost against the mountains which makes for a good view in the morning. Solid location (town is super tiny so everything should be pretty centerally located) I dont feel like I can review without mentioning Twilight. IF you are a Twilight fan, they do have theme rooms to satisfy your vampire or werewolf self. If you are not a fan, dont worry, its not overbearing. read more

Pleasantly Surprised! I spend about 200 nights a year in hotels/motels and frankly was not looking forward to going into another little town with limited choices on places to stay. After spending 2 weeks in Seattle company needed me in Forks just for a night or two. They booked me here and I can say I was thrilled. The although they couldn't find my initial reservation they were able to accomodate me, and put me in a double room. The only draw back was the beds are actually doubles, not.. queens as are typical in double bed rooms. I havent slept in such a small bed in years, but the bed was comfy. I got a first floor room with a small patio that had a security bar, a big plus for a single female traveler. Entering the room gave me a very pleasant surprise. It reminded me of some of the Marriotts at triple the price that I have stayed in. The room was well appointed with a pull out couch, extra bedding for the couch, large work desk, huge television, thick fluffy towels, mini fridge, microwave, 2 cup coffee maker, sink/faucet separate from the tub/shower area. Water pressure was great,. internet was fast The room was immaculately clean, quiet and I got a great nights sleep. Frankly I was disappointed that I could only be here for one night. This seemingly newly-renovated Forks motel is a great and cozy spot to stay in Forks, Washington. They were very friendly and said they were open to accommodating pets. The building is coated in a bright pink/peach exterior with nicely furnished rooms and an open backyard home to a couple beautiful horses! Debbie allowed early check in which was very nice, but don't count on that during the regular season. If I were to travel through Forks again, I would definitely consider the Dew Drop Inn. read more

A five star look with a two star price . I have been coming to the Dew Drop Inn for nearly five years and about 3 + times a year. The interior colors made it appear frumpy and kind of dumpy looking but it was alway clean, tidy and in good repair. WOW!!! Was I ever in for a surprise. They have done a total transformation to the rooms and the hallways. IT IS So ELEGANT and RICH looking. the colors are warm yet current The whole place takes on a whole new feel. A feel as if you are in a pricy downtown, overlooking the water expensive Seattle motel. I just love what they have done. The hotel is a little dated, but was everything we were expecting. It's a no frills kind of hotel, although the room was well worth it for the price we paid. We brought our dog and the very large grassy area was so nice and convenient. We went on several hikes since it's in a perfect location to see the Hoh Rain Forrest, Sol Duc Falls, and so many other things in the Olympic National Park. The staff were very friendly and gave our dog lots of attention and pets. The service was excellent. The room came with a small fridge and microwave. It also had a large tv, a couch, and desk and chair. It had everything we needed and more. The hotel is located across the street from a grocery store and pizza restaurant so that was really convenient for us as well. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the room I stayed in had hot water in the sink, although only luke warm water in the shower. It may just be a piping thing. It was fine to take a shower in, although I was really hoping to take a hot bath after long hikes on some days and wasn't able to only because the water didn't get warm enough to do so. Everything else about the stay was great though. They don't offer breakfast, which was fine for us since we got what we wanted from the grocery store next door anyways. This is a very nice motel. Very clean with soft towels and nice beds. The best part is Lauren, the young woman at the check-in desk. She was professional and kind. We checked in and when we entered our room found it was a split level with sleeping upstairs and the only bathroom downstairs. Now this is a fantastic room with Two King beds. However not having a bathroom on the same level as the beds didn't work for us older types who are up during the night. Lauren understood and moved us into a very small room, their overflow, which they don't normally rent. She lent us a power charger for our iPhones and just provided excellent service. Lauren, you are a huge asset and the Dew Drop is wonderful because of employees like you. THANK YOU!!!!! We will be back! This is your standard small town hotel. The good: The rooms were spacious and clean. They each have a small balcony. You also get free wi-fi and breakfast. For all these amenities, you can't beat the price. The bad: This is not a fancy hotel by any means. The furniture and fixtures are a bit dated. The weird: Given the popularity of Twilight in this area, be prepared for random promotional items and things named after the series. I had Team Jacob sandwich from the grocery store (it was Roast beef BTW). If you're a Twilight fan, you REALLY need to calm down and manage expectations about the businesses in this town. My family stayed in July, and we will never be back. The booking.com website said it included a complimentary breakfast, but it did not. After checking in, I had asked the front desk lady where breakfast is held, and she said, "Oh we haven't had that in years. My manager just keeps that on the website to make more money." It was very surprising to hear her say this. I didn't think we would get a refund back and most of the other motels were fully booked, so we decided to stay. The beds were the most uncomfortable my family had ever slept on. I wasn't going to complain about them, but my entire family couldn't sleep well. I mentioned to the man at the front desk when checking out the next morning. He just said, "Oh... wow... strange." I could tell he was very concerned, haha. I tried calling almost weekly to talk to the manager about our stay. I literally called almost weekly for about a month and a half. I finally got in contact with the manager, who was the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I ever spoke with. He denied ever offering complimentary breakfast, even though I had proof, AND even though the front desk lady said it is still on the website. When discussing the comfort of the beds, he pretty much said my family was crazy because not many other people complain about the beds. He never apologized during our entire conversation, was rude and was talking over me the entire time. We will never be back, and I urge all others to save their money as well. I wanted a partial refund and was treated like dirt. I wasn't even going to complain, but if it takes the manager over a month to get back to you about your stay, there is obviously a problem. read more

The staff was friendly enough, the room was very nice with two beds and a pull out sofa bed if needed. The balcony had a superb view. It was quiet and suited us perfectly. Great hotel for a small town. I understand many of the reviews on yelp but I think it is important to remember this is a VERY seasonal town with a very very small population. To find a nice, clean hotel with large rooms and great staff was amazing. I go to Forks several times a year to visit my grandson and have stayed at all the hotels. This is the best of them all. We booked the "Bella" room, and got the whole Twilight experience. She's never read or seen the series, but loved the atmosphere. Sparkling cider delivered with champagne glasses, t-shirts saying "we stayed in the Twilight room" just fun touches... and all for the same$ as our ant filled, one bed, dump of a room in Port Angeles. Maybe Dew Drop set the bar too high?? lol! The only thing that drops it by a star is it said continental breakfast and they have actually discontinued that, but it was still on the website. Came to town so the kids could do the twilight thing while the husband went fishing. Got to town rather late (midnight) and tge front desk gentleman was nice enough to be available for us to come that late. Got to our room and it looks spacious because the beds were small. The sleeper sofa is a single sleeper and my 10yr old loved it. I shared a bed with my 13yr old while my husband and our almost 2yr old snuggled. Aside from the beds being smaller than expected we had no other real complaints. I do wish the office offered some sort of breakfast. We were in town and it only had about 3 open restaurants and it would have been nice to not have to go out to eat all the time espessially in that rain storm we got to enjoy. The office did have some sort of assorted snack thing, but my kids and I weren't into them. All and all it was fun. read more

Pull out Sofa Desk with chair Vanity outside of bathroom Refrigerator & Microwave in room. Comfortable beds. WI-FI works great for us Sliding door to large backyard, great for taking the dog out for potty breaks. Area well lit at night, felt very safe. Neutral: Room cleaning was acceptable. Beds appeared clean and newer. Bathroom appeared clean. Some dust noticed in some corners, not a huge issue to me. Cons: There really aren't any cons, but I will mention that there is no pool, or breakfast provided. This is a good solid motel and if we ever find ourselves in Forks again this is where we will stay. read more

My husband and I came to Forks to adventure the Hoh Rainforest to celebrate our anniversary. I was really excited at first for this hotel, but when we arrived the hotel smelt extremely strong of paint. There was no warning of all the painting, air compressing, drilling etc. that they would be doing. I had to buy Fabreeze and candles to TRY to mask the very strong smell. My shower was cold, the TV's back panel was literally taken apart, the fridge smelt terrible and there was also a light hanging out of the ceiling. I never ever leave reviews, but our experience was so frustrating we left a day early even though I had already paid for two days. When we were checking out, we wanted to let the front desk know of the things taken apart in the room so I wasn't charged anything extra, and literally not ONE WORD about us leaving early, no apologies or anything. Filthy, dirty, stinky. Literal dirt and filth on the doors, walls, light switches. Hair and pubic hair all over the floor, shower, and even WALLS in the bathroom. No less than a dozen flies in the room. Toaster and coffee pot hadn't so much as been brushed off, with crumbs and coffee grounds respectively, all over the appliances. No landline phone in the room at all. It smelled stagnant... as if it had been smoked in a lot and not cleaned. The couch had crusty dirty spots all over it, and it was missing several cushions. The kitchenette has a small desk and one table, so there was nowhere to sit to eat - I would not allow my children to sit on that couch. Even though we paid for 2 nights, we ended up spending the night down the road at the Kalaloch Campground because we did not want to spend another night in that nasty room. We ate the extremely overpriced cost for the second night. I would understand the quality if we were paying $30/night but it was close to $200. AWFUL! read more

We stayed in the Bella suite and it was a nice room, loved the decor. It was a little pricey. Theres a continental breakfast which is pretty darn good. Walking distance to Forks outfitters and the coffee shop! I would stay there again. The staff in the morning was very nice and accommodating.
