I was planning a multi-day trip to the Olympic National Park and was looking for a convenient location to spend the night along the way. I read every single Yelp review of every single motel in Forks. I was nervous about staying in Forks because I'm used to staying in big chain hotels. I came across this place and decided it sounded the best. This is a 7-room motel run by a friendly, chatty Vietnamese lady. She cleans all the rooms herself. Since there are no pets allowed and no smoking allowed, that helps with the overall room cleanliness. There is also complimentary wifi here (she will give you the password). My group had two rooms. One of the rooms had two beds, a full size refrigerator, a sink, microwave, and full size dining table. The other room had a king (or queen?) size bed, small fridge, and small dining table. I'm really picky about which hotel I stay at, and I was pleased with the room cleanliness. The bathroom was spotless. The mattress, pillows, sheets were all clean. I brought my own pillow because I'm "high maintenance" like that; the pillows here were clean (no stains) but too flat for me -- the others in my group didn't complain, though. There is an old, white building in the same lot, but that is not used. The owner said the demolition would cost too much, so she just left it there. The motel rooms are in the brown buildings. I don't think I'll ever have a reason to go to Forks again, but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in Forks.

Kitchen area: includes microwave and refrigerator, also kitchen table

I was FINALLY able to stay here and it was 100 percent worth the wait! Trent and Mary Beth are wonderful host. Along with their staff. Theresa was such a delight to talk to in the morning as well. I enjoyed conversations with them all. Everything was amazing. The room was super cozy. The bed was probably the most comfortable i've ever slept on, besides mine at home. The view was great. The homemade breads were amazing in the morning. Everything was very well kept and very clean. Relaxing on the porch or the swing reading the twilight book was great. Also, they have the movies there so you can watch them in your room if you would like to. We watched them all while staying there and it feels so different when you're actually in the location. The house is within walking distance of town. It's right up the road. That was nice and convenient. The whole place is a vibe. From the house to the city of Forks itself. I'm truly missing it now that i'm back in the hustle bustle of a big city. I'm already trying to plan a return visit. Thank you SO VERY much to Trent and Mary Beth for making our vacation so incredible and memorable. The love and care you put into the house shows.

The Inn was spotless, well-managed, and truly a notch above places we've stayed in the past. Breakfasts were outstanding and served with genuine care and attention--on real china, no less! It made mornings feel extra special, and I'm still thinking about those amazing muffins. We felt truly appreciated and welcomed throughout our stay. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there: Dessert bar each evening, 24-hour access to coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa, ice, and ice water made us feel right at home. While the rooms weren't huge, they were very comfortable, (and well equipped with anything we could need) and the well-designed common spaces more than made up for it. We especially loved enjoying dinner on the deck each evening--it was the perfect spot to relax and make memories. High praise to the owners for creating such a warm, well-run retreat. We'll absolutely return if the opportunity arises. Kudos and bravo! I wholeheartedly recommend the Misty Valley Inn!

Last chance is exactly what this place is. My boyfriend and I came to the coast for a quick get away without much of a plan. We were planning on winging the whole trip which usually leads to some pretty great things. Called a couple camping spots just to see and of course we got the cold shoulder with busy and packed camp grounds. We finally saw Last Chance and made a quick call. The friendly woman answered the phone saying she had plenty of space. Finally we were in luck!! We headed just outside of town and drove by these beautiful fields. Out of the corner of our eyes we spot the cute Last Chance signs. Do not be skeptical just follow the sign and go around the large abandoned building to the gorgeous open field. The place was EMPTY to our amazement. We picked our spot out of the many and saw a women coming to us on her ATV. She greeted us and we ended up talking about how she got the place started and all it had to offer. There were horses, elk and a ton of cute birds and wildlife. We only stayed a night but got so comfortable and felt incredibly safe. We enjoyed the sunset, saw a massive heard of elk right next to us and built an amazing fire. There is one outhouse & a small sink with soap and counter space to clean dishes if needed. The owner is willing to help with whatever and even provided the first night of firewood for free!! We can not wait to be back and bring our family and friends. Thank you for the amazing and comfortable stay!! This place needs to get on Airbnb to get the word out and spaces filled up. The online reservation system worked well; at time of booking they charge a one-night deposit that is theoretically refundable if you cancel before the nonrefundable deadline. Prior to arrival I started to receive automated text messages to complete the check-in process. We arrived shortly before the official check-in time but our room wasn't quite ready, so we headed into town to stroll around for a bit. When we came back well past the check-in time, the front desk staff couldn't confirm that our room was cleaned but after a short wait we were able to get into the room. The room was much bigger than expected, and we had a room with a balcony that looked out over the horse farm next door and not the parking lot, which was nice. It was decorated with a country/rustic theme. The bathroom sink is in the main room, which was convenient when someone was showering or seeing a man about a horse (look it up if you're not familiar with the phrase but it's probably self-evident by now). There's a half-size fridge and a small and underpowered microwave in the room, but it served our needs well. There aren't a lot of appealing dining options in town and some are more expensive than we were willing to pay, so we bought frozen meals at the grocery store just across the street. The front desk staff was friendly and chatty and there was coffee and hot water for tea, cider, and cocoa in the lobby. For those who need it, there are several electric car charging stations in their parking lot - an unexpected sight but certainly needed in this corner of the country.
