Forks is not a big town, but it is home to Twilight and is a quaint and comfortable place to be. Yes, they do have many small hotels right off main street, but why stay in the very basic, no-frills, hotel room when there is a MUCH better "Home away from Home" alternative down the street. After all, the entire town is totally walkable, and if you happen to be a twilight fan, or even just a "Twi Guy", you can further immerse yourself into the local culture during your stay. The Inn is located in a wonderful part of town and offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Trent and Mary Beth run the Inn as a home that has several inviting common areas, equipped with snacks, where guests can relax, play games and or even socialize. The rooms (Suites) are spacious, bright and have all the amenities of home, they are VERY comfortable. The provided gourmet breakfast is a highlight, especially in a town where every restaurant is a gamble. This Inn is a gem and the wonderful owners are absolutely there for you the entire time. If you find a better place to stay, you're not in Forks! Cheers!!

The Inn was beautiful! It was clean and inviting. We stayed in the Elk View room. It was clean and spacious. We left our windows open and loved hearing the frogs and cows. The owner, Trent was very friendly and gracious. Wish we would have stayed here longer. It's a great place to stay if you are here for Twilight but also just a great place to stay in general!

    Breakfast

The Miller Tree Inn, the historic Peterson farmhouse, is easily the most desirable overnighter in the small town of Forks. We stayed in the Country Clover room featuring a fireplace and two person bathtub. The room was impeccably clean and stocked with a variety of toiletries. Despite the reputation of bed and breakfast joints, there was ample privacy during our stay; we wouldn't even have known there were other guests until breakfast. Patrons conveniently sign up for their breakfast time slots in the morning which will provide you with a hearty meal if you plan on exploring the peninsula or Olympic national park. During our stay we went to the Hoh Rainforest, Cape Flattery, and the Makah Museum. (And for any Twilight fans out there, the Miller Tree Inn has incorporated many Twilight Easter eggs in their charming farmhouse.)

We loved staying at The Miller Tree Inn last April. Mary Beth and Trent were so welcoming and friendly. The house itself is perfectly placed so you have the accessibility of town but the beauty of the farmland next door. Our room was so cozy and we loved the large window overlooking the yard. The renovations have been well done without taking away from the rustic charm of the Inn. We appreciated the nice hot showers after long days of hiking trails and beaches. Fresh hot breakfast each morning in the dining room was amazing. This was by far our favorite place to stay during our week of travels and we definitely hope to stay here on our next trip to the Olympic Peninsula.

This bed and breakfast was perfection. My husband and I are not Twi-Hearts, so the property's significance was not the reason we booked. However, it is the only redeeming quality of Forks. The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. We were not able to hear other guests. And the breakfast was delicious. If I ever find a need to go to that area again, we will be staying at this B&B again.

    Go Cougs!

We loved our stay at Miller Tree Inn. We booked here since we have a Twilight fan in our family. We were pleasantly surprised when we realized how nice the owners were. We stayed in the Orchard Suite and were allowed to bring our fur baby. They had lots of fun Twilight 'touches' including games, movies, books, etc. We were also happy to see that Dr. Cullen was a Lifetime Member of the WSU Alumni - Go Cougs! Anything you want for your Twilight fun. Breakfast was tasty and we highly recommend this place!

We had a great time!! They were very welcoming even though we got into town late and we had our privacy. Anything you could ask for was available. Yummy baked goods in the morning and a bunch of snacks in the room. Above and beyond with sanitation practices. Breath taking view. All you can ask for in these crazy times.

A special note from the Cullens.

My ex and I recently drove up from Seattle and stayed here for 1 night while doing the Twilight tour (we did our own; not the organized tour put on by the Forks Visitors Center). We were not disappointed. :) I had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before, but I have to say, I was really impressed! The owners, Bill and Susan, were friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable of Twilight trivia, and extremely gracious. The house was decked out with Twilight touches, but it was not over-the-top. I enjoyed the details they put into it to create a semi-real feeling of staying in the "Cullen House," such as Carlisle's office, a note from the Cullens (who had gone to Isle Esme for the weekend), and stockings for the entire family over the fireplace. We stayed in The Sunset room, which was spacious, comfortable, and gave us a beautiful view of misty Forks in the morning. The room had separate rooms for both the restroom and shower, which was a nice touch. Each room has a set of the Twilight books, as well as DVDs of the movies. The Inn is obviously centrally located to everything you'd want to see in Forks (as a Twilight fan). La Push is about a 20-minute drive away, and that's the furthest you'll go except for Port Angeles (about 1-hour drive away). I would definitely stay here again; maybe in the summer so that I can go hiking!

We stayed for a short overnight stay while adventuring all over the peninsula over the course of 8 days. It seemed too short, and I knew I'd stay here again and again. I can't say enough about the warmth, comfort, kindness, and care the owners extend with their Inn. You can tell they care deeply about their experience moving to the area years ago, and eventually taking over the inn from the original owners (talk with them, their story is inspiring). They care so much for each guest that walks through their doors. They gave us great advice for making our short time in Forks count too! The beds were comfortable, the fire warming, and conversations we had were like talking to old friends. We also had a couple diet restrictions for breakfast which they were able and willing to accommodate. I'm already planning a trip back to ONP for next summer and Miller Tree Inn is on my list for lodging. Thank you Mary Beth and and Trent....See you next summer!

The Inn was spotless, well-managed, and truly a notch above places we've stayed in the past. Breakfasts were outstanding and served with genuine care and attention--on real china, no less! It made mornings feel extra special, and I'm still thinking about those amazing muffins. We felt truly appreciated and welcomed throughout our stay. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there: Dessert bar each evening, 24-hour access to coffee, tea, cider, hot cocoa, ice, and ice water made us feel right at home. While the rooms weren't huge, they were very comfortable, (and well equipped with anything we could need) and the well-designed common spaces more than made up for it. We especially loved enjoying dinner on the deck each evening--it was the perfect spot to relax and make memories. High praise to the owners for creating such a warm, well-run retreat. We'll absolutely return if the opportunity arises. Kudos and bravo! I wholeheartedly recommend the Misty Valley Inn!

It is attached to the main house so you can rent one or both depending on the size of your group. The owners were great about answering my voicemails and emails. There is a very small bedroom with a double or queen sized bed. The pillows and mattress weren't the best, but that might be my one single complaint. The living room has a nice TV, a DVD player and a bunch of DVDs, a cute little electric fireplace and a ton of comfy blankets. It was great to curl up on the couch with wine and a movie after a long, cold, wet day of hiking in Olympic National Park. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked, even had spices and such. There's a small dining area where we ate breakfast every morning. The price is great and way below any of the waterfront "resorts" I also found online. We ended up driving past some of the other places I considered and they looked like dumps. Our house was adorable and actually probably the nicest house in town, from what we witnessed. The location is unbeatable for trips into the Rainforest and Olympic National Park. Port Angeles is a quick 45-60 minute drive if you need a "city." The drive from Seattle airport to Forks is beautiful and was definitely a great part of our trip. A note on Forks, WA: This place is weird. Of course I'm aware of the Twilight phenomenon and the role Forks plays. There is NOTHING here. There are a couple of poor to mediocre restaurants. A main street with some everyday shops, hardware stores, and bizarre Twilight themed shops. We didn't spend any time in the town except for a couple dinners. We found Pacific Pizza to be the least disappointing. We would totally stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends.

A Wonderful Stay at Manitou Lodge in the Heart of the Forest…read more Our family stayed at Manitou Lodge in March, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The drive through the forest to get there was stunning--lush greenery and breathtaking scenery--but do be aware that it gets very dark at night. Thankfully, the lodge itself was well-lit, making it easy to find our way and locate our room. We stayed in a double room inside the main lodge, and the setup was perfect. The entrance to our room was conveniently located off the main lodge area, making it easy to come and go. The space was cozy and well-equipped, with a dining area, a small fridge/freezer, a microwave, and in-room coffee--always a nice touch! Dishes and silverware were provided, which was great for quick meals, though if you're staying more than a day, just note that there isn't a dedicated spot for washing them. Beyond the accommodations, the entire atmosphere of Manitou Lodge and its surroundings was simply magical. Nestled deep in the forest outside of Forks, it felt like a peaceful retreat, yet it was also a fantastic home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Everywhere we went, from the lodge to the nearby landscapes, was absolutely breathtaking. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay surrounded by nature, Manitou Lodge is an excellent choice. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again!

Scam. Everything…read morefrom the host's poor communication and unprofessionalism, to the super creepy Ring camera that records you go to the bathroom in the pitch dark SO CREEPY!  (more on this later) But if only that were it! DECEPTIVE. They listed an "entire cabin" "with bathroom", and it turns out that I just booked a private room, with a public outdoor restroom that anyone could walk up and use. FILTHY. I'll leave pictures, but there's cobwebs a foot away from your face where you sleep, the bathroom had dead mashed spiders on the walls, the showers don't get cleaned (weird blue stuff), there's exposed insulation foam on the ground right by the front door under the sink (so much for dog friendly, this could kill your dog). And a random sink on the ground near the fire pit? What? NO WIFI. I got full on bait and switched. The wifi network provided in the ROOM (manitoulodge2) didn't work, and I was told to go to an entirely separate building to work. Unbelievable. That's another thing, if you look at the listing, the "lodge" refers to 1)your cabin 2)the entire property "Manitou lodge" or 3)the "great room" /main lodge. They told me the listing provides that wifi is only available in "the lodge" (the main lodge, a separate building) and denied any obligation to provide wifi in the actual room you booked. Really unbelievable, and it felt like a deceptive listing. Thus, NO WIFI in the lodge you booked. POOR COMMUNICATION: the host stopped replying to my wifi issue, leaving me to troubleshoot my devices all night, and gave no eta of fix, and I ended up wasting hours due to their poor communication. Even as I was about to check out, it was still not fixed. They deflected and made excuses the entire trip. It was very unpleasant and difficult. I had to rearrange all of my plans for the weekend due to their lack of communication. I tried to meet them halfway and went to "the lodge" (the main lodge), but the wifi didn't work there either. I provided proof many times (as best I could with spotty service) but received no helpful solutions. (And before they reply about me not going to the entirely separate bulding, I did, theres many bars but no internet still (pic attached). BOOKING PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE FEES. (They demand it upon arrival). Their listing looked cheaper than everywhere else this way, but it ended up being much more expensive. So much unprofessionalism and dishonesty. Also, it's not in their listing but entrances require stairs, are not disability accessible, and the front desk and cabin requires stairs. They also get extremely slippery. I'm not leaving this review to be mean, it's genuinely concerning that they'd try to run their lodging like this. It's really not acceptable, and I hope that they take another one of these reviews as constructive criticism and take some semblance of responsibility. I hope people know that there are better options in the area. As for the creepy cameras, I'll attach pictures, but they turn on every time you exit the door of your room. It's hard to believe that this is after the fix. It's still super creepy. The camera is obscured when you open the door of the cabin at that angle, but fully picks you going in and out of your cabin every time,) and is pointed directly at the bathroom. I'm really not a fan of a dude watching me every time I make my way out of my room to the bathroom. The listing made it sound like they were normal security cameras, and I was stupid enough to give the benefit of the doubt. Nope. It would have been more relaxing to stay home. Honestly. I wish I stayed home. If you're like me, you're going to be stuck without connection in the middle of nowhere trying to ask airb to get you a different place, (but no wifi lol) and driving in and out of town and having all of your vacation plans ruined. Absolute Nightmare.
