I've heard about this place for years and finally made the trip for lunch. I love wings! It's a cute place, made for watching sports, drinking a cold one, and munching on wings. I had the garlic Parmesan wings, cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I also tried my coworkers medium buffalo which were okay, asian habanero were yummy a good kick of heat mellowed a bit by the sweet. I've been going to this place on and off for years. They have a bunch of craft beers and seasonal ciders on tap all the time and the wings are amazing. It's about 30 minutes from me, so grabbing a to-go order when parking is scarce isn't really an option. The last three times I went, I was rudely "asked" by the manager to leave because they needed the table. The second you ask for a box for leftovers, start a timer because they want you OUT. I want to point out that all three times I was at a small two-seater table and my drink was half-full still. My friend and I were chatting while I finished it up. The last time the guy had the audacity to look me dead in the face after we'd just dropped ~$160 on food and drinks and tell me I could take my food and my beer and stand at the bar and finish it there. That was when I decided I was done with the mistreatment and complete lack of respect and appreciation from someone in a position of authority there. We didn't dawdle and hang out for multiple hours, etc. I'd rather go to Archie's or drive all the way to Newtown/Danbury for wings. I'm not going back or recommending it and now I make sure to tell people of my experience when I hear them talking about wanting to go themselves. read more

What a great spot to hang out and eat wings and drink beer! People are nice. It's very efficiently run despite huge crowds at times. Parking can be ridiculous, so expect to walk a bit and maybe you'll catch a break. As other reviews will note, there are a nearly limitless number of options for wing lovers. I'm not a huge fan of the chicken wing. It's sort of the worst part of a chicken and the second worst part of a rooster. They're messy, a lot of work and in most places nothing special. At Dew Drop, however, it's all I eat. They prepare them well, have interesting flavors and for whatever reason they taste better here than most places. The selection of wings to choose from is incredible. You can probably come here every day for a year and always try something different. My husband tried the Teriyaki wings which were delicious. They had such a great sauce. He also tried the hottest wings there. I have no idea what they are called. He liked them a lot but he was paying for them later that night and the next day! I tried the Maple Butter Bacon which I didn't like which is unfortunate. They were just way too oily for me. I guess that was a butter but just not for me. I tasted more of a butter flavor, than Maple Bacon and I was hoping for the Maple flavor. HOWEVER, The Jalapeño Cream Cheese wings which is what I also got were to die for. They are absolutely out of this world. They had just the right amount of heat and just the right amount of creaminess. They were definitely the best wings I ever had. The food is terrific! We had the spicy asian wings and loved them. I had the best Philly cheesesteak I ever had out side of Philadelphia. I'm pretty sure they use cheese wiz. Yum! There is a reason why this place is so busy.... Cold beer, hot wings, friendly service and a nice vibe. I had the R.J. Rockers Son of a Peach and it was a great summer beer. The bartender also offered me a sample of the Black Hog Peach IPA (also great beer and kind of her to offer). The honey BBQ wings & Horseradish wings (don't knock them! On recommendation from a handful of my friends, I figured it was time to pay Dew Drop Inn a visit to see how good their wings actually were. Parking may seem like a nightmare with a limited two-three spots next to the restaurant, but up the street to the left there's an entire lot, so don't fret. Also, since we're still in pandemic times, make sure you call ahead and make a reservation! This place isn't huge, so it helps to have that set in place so you can eat when you want to without waiting. I thought TK's by me had an enormous variety of sauces to choose from, but Dew Drop matches up with them and might even have more, especially in the experimental department. Sure you have your buffalo, your garlic parmesan, BBQ, teriyaki, etc, but they also do a specialty of dessert wings which was a first for me. Curiosity got the best of me and I sided with an order of mozz sticks, truffle oil and parmesan wings, and an order of the peanut butter s'mores wings. I knew what to expect with the first two choices, but was totally not expecting any sort of dessert wing to actually be solid. Who knew that chocolate, marshmallow (I believe it was Fluff), and peanut butter went well together with chicken? Totally unexpected, but would definitely give other dessert flavors a shot next time I'm back. Their beer list wasn't large, but the brews they provided were great, plus if there's anything from Bad Sons on the list, it's probably fresh since they're right next door. Been here a few times! It's a great dive bar and the wings here are terrific! My friends and I have been obsessed with the "suicide" wings - the waitresses have talked us out of them twice. This last visit one waitress brought us a small sample of "some of the ingredients" in the suicide sauce. She said "taste that and keep in mind it's about 1/7 of the hottness." Well...holy S*!+!!! I had a tiny drop of that sauce and was miserable for a good 10 minutes as were all my friends. There is NO WAY we could have handled the Suicide wings. Another good experience here , wish they would tone it down with the ID situation. They act worse than night club security when asking / looking at IDs. After seeing a ton of reviews my boyfriend and I knew we had to stop by. Parking is limited so try to avoid rush hour times. We walked in and weee immediately ID'd and told To have a seat at the end of the bar. The server grabbed us drinks and let us take some time to decide. We were really annoyed that we couldn't try multiple flavors in one order of a dozen wings .Its odd - especially for $17.99 a dozen. My boyfriend told me about this place when we first started dating.... FIVE YEARS AGO. Finalllly we came here about two weeks ago and haven't stopped talking about it since. I've told everyone. I live for wings and the dew drop did not let me down. At all. We ordered the spicy ranch bacon wings and they were the absolute best wings I've ever had. I couldn't believe how crispy they stayed with all the ranch and bacon goodness loaded on top. OH and I didn't even have to tell them I wanted them fried hard, they came already super crispy. The bartender was nice and made a perfect Mary Pickford! Unless you're coming here to drink, I personally wouldn't come running or walking back. Lets start with the bacon and cheese frips... if you wondering, wonder no more.. to thick flimsy and super greazy potato slices covered with to much equal parts melted and unmelted cheese and not enough bacon. The ranch sauce with the frips was good though. Now to my loaded nachos, yes I posted a picture.... this was not only pathetic, they should be embarrassed to have served this and for 12 dollars........ It was almost 3/4 of a bag of tostitos rounds, covered with sysco's "cheese" sauce on the bottom layer and sides. With more empty chips in the middle with the top layer covered with shredded cheese a spoonful of vinegary pico de gallo and two spoonfuls of guacamole and two handfuls of canned pickled diced jalapenos and then scorched around the edges in a salamander. I picked at it and maybe ate about 10 chips and threw in the towel. My husbands wings.... the thought behind it fantastic; the actual taste, and presentation way off base. He had the jalapeno popper wings 7 of them to be specific. No you cannot half and half flavor an order of 12 so he settled on an odd amount of 7 and a single flavor. I should have taken a picture.... they were buried under mounds of the same diced canned jalapenos and schmeared with cream cheese under that. He said "Meh" on flavor. The bartender server was great, until more people came in. I guess the moral of the story; come here to drink like the locals were; or believe the hyped reviews, and be incredibly disappointed when you try their food. Things to know: Parking is bad there are approximately 8 spots if you drive a truck your nose will hang out into the road like ours did. The table we sat at was so unlevel every time we moved or were brought things we almost wore what we had on the table. They do not break up your order; we were seated drinks right away placed an order for an app and our food and all of it was brought out at once. At a very small table; that is most difficult to accommodate that many plates aka 3, especially when the table wants us to wear the food and drinks. This review is completely off of attitude and wings only. I was very interested in trying wings as I was told they are the best. They have lots of flavors to choose from but you are required to purchase at least 7 at a time and the prices are ridiculous unless u only want one flavor of wing for everyone. Also the attitude of the employees was horrendous. I've never in my life gotten more disrespect from a restaurant. In a time when the restaurant business needs customers I don't believe a polite customer should of gotten treated like an inmate. Train the staff better I will not be coming back! read more

I'm a big fan of the food here. Awesome wings, of course, but their fries and waffle fries are delicious too. Salads are huge and taste great and the grilled cheese is also amazing. The servers are usually friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My only complaints are the parking situation and the size of the restaurant. Very small parking lot so usually, I park in the lot up the street a little bit. The walk isn't far at all, but when it's cold or raining, it's not fun. My wife was also very uncomfortable with the available lot because there are no lights whatsoever and it's tucked back from the road a little bit. Very unsafe especially for a woman leaving a bar at night. The restaurant is very small. On Friday and Saturday nights, expect to wait for awhile simply because they don't have the space to accommodate people. If you're claustrophobic, don't come here during peak hours. Last time I went, there were drunk people bumping into me every few minutes because of how close we all were. Great food, good service - just wish they would expand! read more
