Their price was competitive with the competition and what we thought was very fair for a whole house move. We are super glad we went with Prince because the crew was unbelievable. Carlos ran the crew and was so professional and courteous. All floors/stairs were covered. Marvin, Omar and Jeff were all hard-working and got everything done quickly like clockwork. All furniture was covered and protected. If we asked for anything to be placed in a different place or requested changes there was only one answer: No problem - with a smile! I honestly didn't think customer service like that existed anymore. I consider myself a tough reviewer, I can't believe myself how glowing this review is but they were that good.

From my initial telephone contact with Karey and our video walk through with Jon I was very impressed. Likewise, I was very pleased with the initial cost estimate that was provided to us. We did our due diligence and obtained two other estimates, both higher than the one from Prince. In fact, one was twice as high. We were a bit concerned about the great disparity. However, having been impressed with Karey and Jon and reading about the fundamental principles of their business we elected to go with Prince. I cannot say enough about the crew that handled our move. They called ahead of time to advise they were on the way - and on time ! Carlo, the team leader, was polite, responsive to our requests, flexible to add on a few things we needed to move, and his supervision of the other three members of the crew : Omar, Jeff and Mario. The care that the entire crew gave to our furniture, including some large, heavy wood pieces with glass shelves and doors, was extraordinary. The move was handled efficiently, effectively and expeditiously. Nothing was damaged ! The crew was great in moving things around to get them in the correct location. We were very pleased ! I must point out that this move was so well handled from initial contact to the crew departing our new home And it was accomplished UNDER BUDGET !! Kudos to the entire Prince team. We are grateful. Overall disappointed with the move in experience. ---- I have gone back and forth about sending this email. My father was a truck driver, so I understand the sacrifices drivers make to provide for their families. I know what it means to spend weeks away from home, and I would never want to take food off anyone's table. At the same time, I don't want another service member and their family to experience what my family experienced during our delivery. My hope is that this feedback results in additional training so that no other military family has to go through this. This has been, by far, the worst move-in experience we've ever had. The packing process was excellent, and the communication leading up to delivery was outstanding. Unfortunately, the delivery and unloading process took a significant toll on my entire family, especially my wife and our two young children. During the delivery, the driver and the unloading crew argued with one another in front of my wife. They openly discussed mileage pay and whether the workers were even going to be paid for the work they were doing. My wife was left wondering whether they expected her to compensate them herself. No customer should be put in that position, especially someone who is alone with two young children. The crew also arrived without the proper tools to assemble our furniture. I understand that accidents happen during a move, and I can accept that some items may be damaged. I'll tighten my children's bikes and reassure them they'll still be able to ride them. But the issues went well beyond normal wear and tear. Mirrors were laid on their sides, the legs on our sofa are pulling loose because the screws are left unscrewed, our table was left supported by a box because it wasn't properly assembled, and damaged and there are numerous other damages and unfinished items that we will document through the military claims process. What disappointed me most was the lack of care shown toward my wife. She was alone with our children, and instead of taking the time to place items where requested and complete the furniture assembly, the crew rushed to leave around 3:00 p.m. They hurried her through signing the paperwork, and because she isn't a confrontational person, it felt as though that was taken advantage of so they could leave as quickly as possible. The most upsetting part was that they made no meaningful effort to assemble my son's bed. I can overlook accidents and even disagreements among a crew, but when it directly affects children--when my son can't sleep in his own bed after moving into a new home--that crosses a line. At the same time, my wife was left installing the legs on our daughter's dresser and moving heavy furniture herself. If the crew had been working into the evening and simply ran out of time, I could understand. But to leave so much unfinished so early in the day is extremely disappointing. We will be documenting the damages and submitting our claim through the military claims process. Unfortunately, that process won't undo the stress, frustration, and disappointment my family experienced. I genuinely hope this feedback reaches JK Moving's leadership. My goal is not to punish anyone, but to ensure another military family doesn't have the same experience. More than anything, I wish someone from your company would come back, complete the furniture assembly, and correct what was left unfinished. Finally, I owe my own family an apology. Because of my military service and the sacrifices this career requires, they had to endure yet another move without me there. They arrived in a new city with no family, no friends, and no support system to help them. All we expected was professionalism and the level of care that military families deserve. Truly any paying family. Instead, my wife was left carrying that burden alone. To my wife and my children: I'm sorry. You deserved better. I love you. I'll be home soon to put Miles' bed together, tighten the sofa, fix the outdoor table. Fix the table left propped up by a box, and take care of everything that should have been done before the crew left. I can fix the furniture. I can't give you back the day you deserved.

First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .

I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.

From our first conversation, to the delivery of our household goods in SC, Madelin and Jose worked with us through the entire process. We had the same crew pack / load in Virginia, drive and unload in South Carolina. They have built a great team and believe in delivering a quality service at an affordable price. They promised in the beginning to take care of our furniture and belongings and they delivered on the promise in SC. Even though we had them hang…read moreone tv and 3 narrow sets of lightweight curtains, it took them ALL day (around 10 hours) and the price ended up being 3 times what we paid last time (which was much further between homes. We only moved 10 minutes away and had everything packed in labeled boxes when they showed up; They wrapped the furniture and disassembled the couch, two beds, and two small sets of shelves. It took a really long time to leave the first place. They didn't put the couch back together properly. We bought them lunch because that's the kind of people we are. We did, including my son see them standing around a lot which could have been breaks, but they seemed to move when we saw them. The last movers we had took 4 hours for $700 and the distance was 30 minutes. One other pro was they were available within a week's notice.
