The photo depicts the interior of a bar featuring brick walls and arched ceilings. Neon lighting in red and purple illuminates the space, highlighting graffiti-style artwork on the wall. A wooden table with leather bar stools is in the foreground, and a shuffleboard table is visible in the background. The setting suggests a contemporary bar environment with casual seating and entertainment options.

We stopped by Devil's Hideaway on Mill for a few drinks before heading over to Idle Hands, and it was such a fun spot! The place is super clean with a cool, laid-back vibe. Bright murals and graffiti-style art cover the walls, giving it a lively feel. They have a ski ball machine and a pool table, which was a nice surprise. Just a heads-up--it's bar service only, so you'll need to grab your own drinks, but the staff was fast and friendly, so it wasn't an issue. Not sure how busy it gets later in the evening--we were there kind of early for Mill. I know the kids don't usually come out until late!

Ceiling with exposed metal pipes arranged in various directions, illuminated by red neon lights. A circular black vent or fixture is centrally located on a brick wall, with small lights and vents visible around. The setting appears to be an interior space with industrial or modern design elements.

Super cute, fun art, delicious drinks. Fries, I wouldn't order again. Service was amazing and the battendars are funny

One of my favorite bars on Mill Ave. The inside is super unique and the drinks are fairly priced for the Tempe Mill Ave area. It is LGBTQIA+ friendly which makes it a very welcoming space. The music is always on point and they often have a DJ on the weekends. Their patio is fairly new and a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. They also have a speakeasy in the back if you are feeling fancy or planning a date night. Overall I highly recommend this bar and most of the time it is not overly crowded for a Mill Ave spot.

Happy hour Dirty Shirley Tequila pineapple

Devil's hideaway has happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-7pm and my friend and I just had to check it out. A dirty Shirley was $6 and her tequila pineapple was $5 which was a steal. The drinks were so good and the ambiance was incredible. We played round of pool and hung out before it got busy. It was such a great time. We chatted with the bartender who was super nice. They also have $3 Jell-O shots. I recommend hanging out here with your friends!

The image shows the exterior of a bar named Idle Hands at night, illuminated by neon signs and colorful lighting. There are holiday decorations, including a lit Christmas tree with ornaments and a large ribbon. Several people are standing outside, engaging in conversation. The building has a brick facade, and the neon signs are visible both on the wall and hanging above the entrance.

Awful service. Bouncers decide who gets in based on who they know and how much they can charge for themselves. Stay away - not worth the headache for dealing with a mediocre spot. CASA knows what's up... bring them business over this joke of an establishment

Jello shot - Three people are holding small, clear plastic cups filled with red jello shots. The setting appears to be a dimly lit venue with purple and blue lighting, suggesting a party or bar atmosphere. The hands are close together, and some individuals are wearing rings. The background is blurred, emphasizing the cups and the act of toasting or sharing drinks.

Finally made it in on Friday night for some drinks. We arrived around 8:30pm so it wasn't too busy. There were several bartenders ready to take our order but we let them know we needed a few min to look over the menu. We ended up ordering: 1 O.F.G. martini - $14.00 white claw pineapple vodka, passionfruit, lime, cranberry bitters, orchid 1 south of the border punch - $14.00 100% blue weber agave tequila, pomegranate, select apertivo, hibiscus, chili liqueur, lime 3 jello shots - $4.00 each 1 Huss Pink Pineapple Haze IPA - $10.00 My martini was delicious as it was not too sweet nor strong. My friends punch was strong and woooo that one had a kick. The IPA was smooth and had a goood pineapple aftertaste. The bartenders were attentive. It took us a while to find a table and we finally did by the pool table hidden in a corner. It was a high top for two but it would do. It was very hot here though so the AC must not reach this spot. We sipped on our drinks as we waited to be called into the speakeasy. Super cool spot and good drinks. The music was on point and we had a good time! Will be back. Bathrooms were dirty and one of the stalls had no paper.

When Rula Bula left Tempe I was so sad and couldn't imagine someone taking their place. I wouldn't say it's anywhere near the same at Devils Hideaway, but it is FUN! Walking in, you can tell immediately that the space has been made to seem young, modern, and fun. The spray paint style vibes and neon lights and signs mixed with mirrors gives such an upbeat vibe. Service wasn't necessarily kind but it was fast and the drinks were good. The true star of the show is the tiny hidden speakeasy within the same walls. The ambiance is completely different. It's magical (almost lord of the rings elven style) and the drinks are INSANE. Service was absolutely amazing. Overall, I would go back because depending on your mood, you can probably meet it here!

Inside - Inside a bar with brick walls and neon lighting, four people are seated at the bar counter. The bar features a variety of bottles on shelves, and a chalkboard menu displays drink specials. Small flags hang along the brick archways, and the ceiling has exposed pipes and neon light fixtures, creating a modern, vibrant atmosphere.

Great espresso martinis!! We came here for drinks and absolutely loved it. The espresso martinis are amazing. They have a nice inside area and then a great patio as well. We even came back a second time!!

We had such a great time at this location. Originally we were going to check out both bars but Tuesdays only this part of the bar is open. They have a decent happy hour and the bartenders were friendly I ordered the South of the border punch which quickly became my favorite They also had Jell-O shots available. Currently they only carry one flavor which is lime. So if you love the taste of lime you're in for a treat We ordered some fries as well. They were thick sliced and flavorful I love the thought behind this bar and it's a very unique vibe. We had a wonderful time and I look forward to going back to check out the other part of this venue

pool table - A person with short dark hair, wearing a black shirt, holds a pool cue in a bar setting with brick walls and neon lighting. The environment includes arcade machines and murals, indicating a recreational space with pool tables and gaming options.

love the inside. cool vaulted brick walls and ceilings with neon lights and projections. pool and other games available. on my recent visit, checked out the hidden speakeasy inside and loved it too! great for a night out in the middle of the week. never too crowded.

Very neat futuristic bar on Mill. Devil's Hideaway is the main bar and only serves drinks at the moment. I asked staff and in 2 weeks they will serve food. In 2 weeks their Idle Hands speakeasy will open too! Also, drink prices are very reasonable here, an Old Fashioned, and a beer together was $20. Parking is street & meter, I got lucky and found one right on Mill. 5th St, 6th St, and 7th St tends to have more. Also, metered parking is free after 10pm. FYI same owner as Pedal Haus & Sake Haus. Knowing that, I'm looking forward to coming back. Thank you Jon H for putting this on the (Yelp) map for the rest of us. (Thanks for sharing your find.)

Just opened a week ago and super close to my work so I hopped over to check it out. First, love the vibe waking in! Cool music going, loved the image and atmosphere it creates like you're walking into an hidden, underground tunnel with lots of exposed brick. There are two separate rooms with cool artwork AND soon a 3rd space that will be open in about a week that will have food options. There's a pool table and skee-ball game available, which I'm sure will be grabbed early, but cool option's if open. I was greeted quickly walking in and both bartenders were super friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I ordered a Heineken Zero (#soberlife). All beer options are bottle/can....nothing on draft. All around, this is gonna be a cool college spot for years to come with its proximity to ASU.

New food menu item. Don't remember the name. But AMAZING !!!

This place was great! Plenty of a seating available at 5pm on a Thursday. The inside had a dozen or so nooks in the walls with tables and really beautiful paintings! Ski ball arcade game and pool table were also available to use! I had the Spaghett which was surprisingly good, and this new food item they had on the menu that I don't remember name of, but it was absolutely incredible!!! The bartender was very nice and let me sample the espresso martini which was on tap and super refreshing! I cannot wait to come back, can't get enough of this place. Highly recommend.

My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

I hate picnic style seating because it doesn't give you back support. Which made me want to avoid the patio. Service (5/5): Super friendly service. The guy working the bar did a great job. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?
