Also, the thought of tinkering with a motor with relatively low mileage seemed risky, potentially leading to failure on an otherwise pristine car. With these concerns, I had numerous questions prior to committing, and the team lead, Andrea, was instrumental in addressing all of them. The installation process was extensive, taking a week and a half, and involved constant communication and progress updates. When I got the car back, the power gains were obvious from the start. I live in Arizona, so I had an opportunity to stress test the build driving east through the mountains in the extreme heat. I was grinning the whole time. The car runs great during hard runs and smoothly in idle and when driving conservatively most of the time. I'm more than happy and look forward to working with the Autohause team on some other minor modifications.

This is the first time I have been to Autohaus Frankfurt and before that I took it to the dealership for repairs. The reason I took it here was because of its reputation and I needed the tire pressure monitors looked at because the dash light came on. The first thing they did was a complete diagnostic of the car. What they found were bigger issues that I wasn't aware of. They also found some other issues that could've led to bigger issues later on. I'm so grateful for that! What I really appreciated was that they sent me proof of everything that was wrong. I didn't have to take their word for it. They are very honest here. When they found something wrong, they also communicated with me immediately. They made sure to explain everything clearly, that I didn't have any questions, and that I was comfortable with everything that they were doing. They didn't do any work without permission from me first. Every step of the way through the process of repairing my car was done with confidence and constant communication. When I got the car back from being fully repaired, and I was driving it back home, the first thing I noticed was how incredibly smooth it drove! It was like driving on glass! Even when it was new, I don't remember it driving this well! The engine was quieter too. I didn't even realize it was on except for the dashboard showing me that it was. I guess I got used to driving it with problems that I didn't realize existed. I love driving this car, but now I love it even more! It feels really good driving it! If/when I need any more repairs in the future. I will definitely be coming back here again! I highly recommend Autohaus Frankfurt!

The previous owner became a royal b*tch when I pointed out it was her responsibility and we will settle this in small claims court, but that's another story. For 3 weeks I have been trying to smog the Pathfinder. Seven attempts, each after work was done. Codes popping up, clearing themselves, different codes, drive cycles.....it has been a nightmare, not only for me but for Jerry, my mechanic. One day, when picking up the Pathfinder from yet another visit, Jerry said something about his dad knowing a guy up in Temecula who was an emissions specialist....he was gonna call and get his advice. Upon telling me about the call, he suggested I take the Pathfinder to him. After another failed attempt at smogging, I decided to give Javier a try because I was becoming disheartened. Had to go up the day before because no way was I getting up BEFORE the morning commuters to cross the border (I live in Mexico) and I took the vehicle in nice and early the next day. Got good reports and at the end of the day, Javier was doing the drive cycle. I was letting myself get happy. Then, call came that as he was pulling back into the shop, the engine light came on........another night at the La Quinta. The next day was nerve-wracking and it took most of the day for Javier and his crew to find another leak (way underneath something they elaborately explained and in no way can I try and repeat it as I am mechanically challenged) and get it repaired. But finally, at 6:15 p.m. I had my smog certificate and Pathfinder. The bill was so low I feel kinda guilty. I called the office so much over 2 days I feel like Debra is one of my new BFFs. Javier is an emissions magician and if you are having issues in that area, he can make them disappear.

Let me make sure I understand your response correctly. Your technician was called away in the…read moremiddle of inspecting my vehicle, yet you expect me to simply take your word for it that the inspection was completed in its entirety--even though the washer fluid was clearly missed. Yes, you emailed me a completed inspection report. But a completed checklist does not prove that every item on that checklist was actually inspected. In fact, the fact that the washer fluid was marked as checked when it was obviously not addressed is exactly why I questioned whether the inspection was completed properly. Checking a box on a report is not the same thing as actually performing the inspection. I don't believe I am out of line in questioning the accuracy or completeness of a service that I paid for. As a customer, I have every right to expect the work represented as completed to actually have been completed. What is particularly disappointing is that instead of acknowledging the legitimate concern I raised, your response was defensive and dismissive. That response does little to reassure me that the inspection was performed properly and, frankly, leaves me questioning whether this is an isolated oversight or an indication of a larger problem with how your shop handles these situations.
