I only found out how bad of a job they did once I took the van to a mobility dealer for routine maintenance. They had to drop the subframe to install the transmission, and when they put the subframe back on they overtorqued the bolts and incorrectly installed the spacers. So now I have to have a body shop re-weld new nuts onto the subframe, costing me thousands of dollars. So, if they are magically still around, I would love to know!

I'm usually not a big fan of dealing with mechanic shops. It can be a hassle trying to find someone…read moreyou can trust, especially with concerns about being overcharged, unnecessary repairs, or having work done without the actual root cause of the problem being identified. I was referred to Temecula Accurate Auto Care through AAA, and before taking my vehicle in, I spent some time reading their reviews. Based on my experience, I can see why they have so many positive ones. My vehicle was having an issue related to the fuel pump. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, explained what was going on, and made the necessary repair. I really appreciated that they focused on identifying the actual issue rather than just throwing parts at the problem or recommending work that wasn't needed. The final cost did come in a little higher than the initial estimate, but I think it's important to be fair about that. An estimate is exactly that--an estimate. Sometimes additional costs come up once a mechanic gets into the actual repair and sees exactly what is needed. Personally, I don't think it's fair to penalize a business simply because an estimate ends up being a little higher than originally expected, especially when the work is done properly and the issue is actually resolved. I've been driving the car for the past few days since getting it back, and so far it has been running great with no issues. At the end of the day, that's what matters most to me: the problem was properly diagnosed, repaired, and the vehicle is running the way it should. I'm glad AAA referred me to Temecula Accurate Auto Care. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable mechanic.

I tried to unpair it but could not re-pair my phone to the car. I even factory reset the car, all the smaller tricks before that. To no avail. I called on Wednesday saying I could really only come in on Friday. They said sure bring it in. Today I did so. Johnny helped and he easily fixed my issue. He probably thought I was another dumb blonde, and no, he didn't make me feel that way. But I sure did when the fix was a simple cable (and believe me, I tried around 6 different cables, which did nothing). He fixed it easily (and explained there is a cable that is a syncing cable, not just a charging cable, which was my issue--apparently I have a bunch of the charging kind) and I was so appreciative. If they couldn't have, I wasn't sure it would be fixable. So glad Johnny took a moment out of his day to easily fix it. He didn't charge me. But I would've paid for it because I was frustrated in not being able to use my navigation. Thank you, Johnny for your patience and expertise! I will be recommending this place to anyone needing any auto work.

I scheduled an appointment as well. I brought in my 2021 Toyota Supra for a second pre-purchase inspection for extra reassurance since Carvana offers a 7-day return policy. Rene gave me helpful pointers and general maintenance information about the Supra, including what to expect during ownership. He also explained that I would receive pictures from the inspection, which I really appreciated. The inspection cost $250 and took about 2 hours. Afterward, I received both a text and email with the inspection results and recommendations. Rene also shared that he regularly partners with local shops for car inquiries and refers customers to specialists when needed, which showed me that they care about getting people the right help. The front entrance has a smaller waiting area with movies playing, which made the wait more comfortable. One helpful note for first-time visitors: when entering the lot, the main entrance is to the left rather than straight ahead. I accidentally drove toward the back at first, but someone from the smog shop next door kindly redirected me. Overall, the experience was great. I felt comfortable with the service, communication, and professionalism, and I would definitely return to 395 Auto & Performance in the future.

He found out how much the battery was by calling the dealer, and some after market spots. He recommended that I DIY which I normally do with battery replacements. He even topped off my oil as it was a quart low. After I got the battery replaced at O'Reilly, I came back, Anthony ran the codes, and it was all clear and not indicating anything of concern. I will only go to this shop from now on, as Anthony seemed to really care, and go out of his way to assist me even though his shop got no monetary benefits this time around. But, he treated and handled my siutation in a manner that I was very pleased, so I will definitely go back.
