I'm usually not a big fan of dealing with mechanic shops. It can be a hassle trying to find someone you can trust, especially with concerns about being overcharged, unnecessary repairs, or having work done without the actual root cause of the problem being identified. I was referred to Temecula Accurate Auto Care through AAA, and before taking my vehicle in, I spent some time reading their reviews. Based on my experience, I can see why they have so many positive ones. My vehicle was having an issue related to the fuel pump. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, explained what was going on, and made the necessary repair. I really appreciated that they focused on identifying the actual issue rather than just throwing parts at the problem or recommending work that wasn't needed. The final cost did come in a little higher than the initial estimate, but I think it's important to be fair about that. An estimate is exactly that--an estimate. Sometimes additional costs come up once a mechanic gets into the actual repair and sees exactly what is needed. Personally, I don't think it's fair to penalize a business simply because an estimate ends up being a little higher than originally expected, especially when the work is done properly and the issue is actually resolved. I've been driving the car for the past few days since getting it back, and so far it has been running great with no issues. At the end of the day, that's what matters most to me: the problem was properly diagnosed, repaired, and the vehicle is running the way it should. I'm glad AAA referred me to Temecula Accurate Auto Care. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable mechanic. read more

Did my research and found Temecula Accurate Auto Care had some of the highest reviews for shops in town and seem to specialize in RAM trucks. Brought my 2019 RAM 1500 in for 60K service, everything went as planned, was a little more than expected, however, can see where these services can save $1000s in the future. Fair and Honest were my initial take and great communication. and Scott threw in a nice little discount on the total. I'll be bringing my RAM to Scott in future. read more

My Tacoma had difficulty starting. Thought it was the battery and took it to another shop for a battery check and it was fine. The mechanic there said it might be the fuel pump which would cost me $1300+. Took it to Temecula Accurate instead. They wanted to start by cleaning the throttle body for $95. Wow. Can't believe it's been two years since my first review. I've brought my car and my wife's several times since 2023, probably 6 times. We've had oil, transmission, differential oil changes, new struts, spark plugs, brakes, etc. and every time the price is quoted up front and all work is explained. I keep coming back (and telling friends, and Yelping about it) because this is my kind of auto shop. I've had some very iffy inspections and price quotes from dealerships in town. We recently had to take my son's vehicle in after it had been giving him some problems - dashboard lights had intermittently been going on and off, and car just gave out one day. We were worried about what the problem could be and what it was going to cost. We never thought it could have been the battery because it had not been too long ago that we replaced it, but the mechanic here was very honest and assured us the battery was the only problem. It's hard to find honest people these day. That will do the job right. I was so happy to hear about Temecula AccurateAuto Care. However all I wanted was a tune up. Ended up with Back breaks done. $900.00 later only spark plugs. No full tune up. Car worst then when I took it in. Was told more money needed for filters which comes with a tune up By the way. Brake yourself fool! Go see Scott and his team. They are a dream they raise the car for me. I needed brake pads, shoes, and rotors for myself and all my automotive owners. This sounds like money is stacking up and flying out of your pockets. This was not the case I was auto-ly delighted not only was it affordable, but the service was impeccable. I was also given a affordable suggestion on where to get my front windshield fixed with money, saving prices not one time did they try to upsell me anything extra and I got all my fluids checked as an added bonus. I went in there with my 2016 Yukon XL due to my air conditioning not working. I spoke with Scott the owner, a very knowledgeable guy, he performed the diagnostic and discovered the compressor motor was dying and there was a leak near the radiator. He replaced it and the new unit failed, not due to his fault it's the manufacturer's fault. Because he has a great warranty, and he is honest, he went ahead and swapped it and it has worked perfectly for 2 months now! This is definitely my auto repair shop from now on. read more

I was told by Megan they don't provide estimates over the phone, rather, I'd have to stop by and they would charge $190 just to look at it, but it could be applied towards the repair job should I agree to it. I have a 2005 Acura TL with over 300k miles and it sprung a bunch of leaks. It was leaking oil and water. Took it in and got all the seals replaced among other parts.
