I had a possum move into my car, and I explained this clearly over the phone before bringing it in. The morning I dropped it off, the car was running fine, until I suddenly heard a hissing noise like a punctured hose. When I opened the hood, there was a possum inside -- and immediately after that, the car wouldn't move. Along with anti freeze and oil leaking. So it was obvious there was direct damage caused by the animal. I also told them this was an insurance claim and that the rodent issue was the exact problem that needed to be diagnosed. Instead of inspecting the actual issue, they hooked the car up to a code reader and focused on unrelated problems. They quoted me over $1,000 for spark plugs and pistons -- which I understand may need attention eventually, but that was not the reason I brought my car in. I was very clear that the rodent damage needed to be addressed first. They never even inspected the rodent issue and told me they would have to fix the other problems before looking into my main concern. I ended up having to tow my car to Mercedes and still paid $138 for a diagnostic that I could have received for free at AutoZone. A very disappointing experience and a complete waste of time and money. I personally would never use again or recommend. read more

Great quality, service, with some nice finishing touches that you don't get elsewhere in normal car servicing. Here's my story: As most people have experienced, mechanics can be tricky to find the right one. I was one of those who only worked with the dealership to have my Audi serviced as I wasn't sure who to trust. I took my Q8 in as a dealer alternative to the 60k mile service (and the dealer price tag of nearly $8-900). Turns out the service is primarily inspections, air filter replacements, and an oil change. Let's just say I was charged significantly less than the dealer quoted price to get a full inspection (that I'm now sure is more thorough than what the dealer does). My car was recently brought into the dealer for a relatively large repair under warranty. As part of the repair, I was told a full inspection was done to identify other potential issues which didn't uncover anything. Fast forward 500 miles and I bring it into European AutoWerks for the 60k service. They sent me a list of items that were beginning to fail or areas that might raise concern being that this was my first time dealing with their shop. These were sent in a full report with pictures that demonstrated the areas of concern. This surprised me as I had just gotten my car back from the dealership. I took the car back to the dealership which confirmed they missed those items during their inspection! Two areas of opportunity I have for European AutoWerks is to make sure that parts are ordered ahead of time for maintenance work that is being requested (the air filters weren't replaced and would've required an additional time) and some additional detail to delineate items that need immediate attention vs those that are maintenance related and just cautionary. Those factors don't diminish the fact that I'm happy with the end result of using them instead of the dealership for my service and will continue doing so in the future. read more

This was my 2nd time I used this business to service my car. 1st time I took for granted that they did what needed to be done, realizing that my tires had not been rotated or air pressure adjusted months later. I've owned cars for 40 years and have never needed to ask for tire rotation This time, I asked them to rotate my tires and was told they couldn't because I needed new front tires possibly because I make too many left turns. My car has 28,000 miles. I got my car home, air pressure was 7 lbs low in all tires and the fluids were not topped off, coolant was very low. I'm disappointed that I assumed paying more and going to a audi specialist would get me quality service. I had my 2013 Jaguar XK serviced at European AutoWerks around 10 July 2024. I was treated like a valued customer and the out the door charge for diagnosing my Jaguar for the check engine light coming on and an oil change was amazing. I gave European AutoWerks a great review and highly recommended them. I made an appointment to have my Jaguar's fluids replaced, as recommended during my first visit, on 14 October 2024. This visit was a nightmare! I walked into the service office to drop off my Jaguar at around 8:45. I was met with instant disrespect. This guy was very hostile for some reason. We almost had a full-on verbal altercation over semantics. I was saying that I need my fluids topped off. He was yelling at me that I needed to have some other service performed on my Jaguar for them to top off the fluids. I de-escalated the situation by saying to him, "I may be saying something wrong; can you check the notes from my last visit? I am sure this can be cleared up if you check the notes." He checked the notes and said, "You want the fluids replaced." I said "yes," and we moved on. Here is with the nightmare got terrifying. He placed the estimate on the counter and told me to sign it. I looked at the estimate and it was over $2,000. I said that this is ridiculous, this is way too high. He said, "you may have paid $20,000 for your car, but when it comes to getting serve for it, you will pay the $90,000 car price. I said, "I am a retired combat veteran. Do you give a military discount?" He looked at me with disgust and said, "You are a returned customer, you are already getting the "VIP" price." I said, "you are not making me feel like a VIP right now." He pointed at the estimate on the counter and said, "I was going to take that off." It was $69.99 for a diagnostic inspection. A service that I did not need, nor asked for. I was there for a preventative maintenance service. He asked me if I wanted him to print another estimate without the unneeded, unasked for change? I replied "yes!" The estimate with that changed removed was still over $2,000. In retrospect, I should have just taken my Jaguar elsewhere. I was still enamored by the way I was treated on my first visit. I signed the estimate and left. I received a call at around four p.m. The same guy was on the phone and told me that the inspection was finished, and the technician found three issues that require immediate action. The first issue was a damaged oil pan gasket was causing fluids to leak from my Jaguar. I said that my Jaguar was not leaking any fluid prior July 14th, otherwise I would have brought it in for leaking fluids. He said" be that as it may, we recommend you get an oil change, and we can replace the oil pan gasket at the same time." I reminded him that European AutoWerks and performed and oil change on my Jaguar in July. I had only driven about 1,500 miles post the oil change. I asked the price to have the oil pan gasket replaced. He said $900. I said that I was not going to replace the gasket at this time. What is the next immediate action item? He said I had a rear toe link adjustment bushing tear. I asked the price to replace it, he said $1,200. I said not now, what else. He said that the rear sway bar link bushing was torn. I asked the price to replace it, he said $1,400. How does European AutoWerks tell me that they no longer want my business without saying that they do not want my business? Inflating their service prices and bombarding with immediate action repairs that should have been recommended for repair during the July inspection. I hear you LOUD and CLEAR European AutoWerks. I will not bring my business to you ever again. I recommend to other veterans, active duty, or anybody who does not want to be price gouged into the poor house, to not bring your vehicles to European Autowerks for any services. I gave European AutoWerks a great review on their webpage for treating me with respect and giving me a fair price for servicing my Jaguar in July. That review has gotten over 200 views in the three months since I wrote it. It is only fair that I give European AutoWerks a negative review for treating me with disdain, showing me that they did not inspect my Jaguar during the July service, and outrageously price gouging me. read more

So I brought our 2016 Land Rover sport in for a check check engine, light and lack of power. I was told the first day that it was probably a turbo After talking to my wife. She told me about the brakes being weird, and I told the guy to check the vacuum pump. He came back and said the vacuum pump was bad and that the camshaft center connecting to the vacuum pump was broken. Car warranty company will not cover the repair so I asked him for bill and that AAA would come gat the car the next day and to please have it ready. I got the car back with greasy parts on my front seat, greasy fingerprints on the door, the hood, the fenders, and the front grill being damaged found bolts on the upper cover behind the hood, and the hood would not open upon a phone call told me that they couldn't do anything unless it back to him and paid for Towing both ways. this is not the company you want to have work on your car. They don't stand behind any of the issues that they caused. Stay away from them. I wish I could give no star!!!! read more

I took my CLA250 Mercedes to Scott and his crew. My car had tons of codes lighting up like a Christmas trees and a whole lot of electrical issues. Scott and crew got me in promptly and started the process of solving all electrical and code issues. Great job done by these guys. Codes are now gone and electrical issues solved. My Mercedes now runs and operates fantastic. Thank you Scott and crew for job well done. Very unhappy with my experience. They repaired a water pump and coolant pipe on our car. Very shortly after there was a coolant leak in the thermostat housing where the coolant pipe inserts. It was in the warranty time frame but they stated it was not under warranty even though they worked on that part. There was no accommodation to assume even partial responsibility. To make matters worse when I took it to another shop they found a leaky head gasket which could have caused or accelerated the coolant leaks. Questionable workmanship, lack of responsibility and misdiagnosis. Over the years, we have had multiple vehicles and many visits at this shop, never again! And we have directed many friends and family to go elsewhere. There are more reliable repair shops in town. read more

I selected this shop because of the great reviews and not wanting to trust my car with just anyone but I am highly disappointed. Technicians we're friendly which was nice nice but I prefer quality service above anything else. I brought my car in for an oil change. They claimed with the oil change they also top off al fluids. Three weeks after my oil change my car alerted me that the coolant level was low. I called in to inquire if they had indeed topped off fluids and they said they had and perhaps it was the heatwave that made my coolant level drop. Hmm...ok. Two weeks after that I got a notification that my oil level was low. My car has never had these issues before. I am not sure what was done while my car was left there for servicing but I cannot ever return. read more
