Super nice server and the empanadas were fabulous. Husband and I especially liked the short rib and cheese.

It feels like a warm hug from your grandma when you're eating these, so I can understand why they are Buelas empanadas! My favorite are the ground meat ones and the buffalo chicken ones but honestly all of their flavors have been amazing! Their customer service has been impeccable each time I've ordered, and you feel good about supporting this business due to how great they treat you! These have become my go to for any potluck or get together, as they are a party favorite each time I've brought them! Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I've had both options and loved the frozen option because I can just pop them in the air fryer or on a pan and whenever I'm craving some of their empanadas! Highly recommend getting trying their empanadas. Definitely will be a crowd pleaser at parties :)

It was very refreshing, creamy and perfectly sweetened. It was just a delightful drink. Their empanadas were very fresh, savory, flavorful, flaky, and golden. There was explosion of flavors in every bite of each type of empanadas. We ordered the same empanadas and drinks for the second time too. The staff were energetic and friendly. The service was fast. Parking is tight but there's about 6 spots. The menu is real small. Simply the basics, hot or iced coffee. I opted for an iced with cream and sugar. It was good. But the vibes inside proved to definitely be a locals only spot. We felt very out of place, the inside was not inviting at all.

I thought they were maybe danish or croissants and then I was told no what we sell is empanadas. Bacon, ham, sausage and I remember thinking, I have never thought of having an empanada for breakfast or lunch. So yesterday, my curiosity got the best of me and I went in after my walk and bought some. All the flavors that I wanted had been sold out and are sold out every day before 10 AM. OK, reboot. I talked to the lovely lovely women behind the counter and then I think the manager or the owner came up to me and said we can sell them to you frozen and you can heat them up at home. So we did for appetizers last night. OMG! They were without a doubt the best new appetizer we have ever had, we could only eat between us three maybe two, but they were so full of flavor and cheese and a little egg and the meats. It's in a little mall next to VG so easy to find a lot of parking on the street and their lot, the service is nothing but smiles and how can I help? This is a rad place and by the way, the coffee is outstanding.

The space is small and intimate and I think it would be a nice place for a casual date! We were seated quickly and the server was really great throughout the whole meal and very knowledgeable about the food. I appreciated that he let us know about the specials without us needing to ask. We started off with some drinks. I got a red wine sangria and it was good but I did find it to taste a bit watered down but it wasn't a huge deal! We also got a carne empanada and the flavor was to die for. The beef and onion was so delicious and savory. It was juicy inside but the outside was crispy and dry not soggy at all. The portion size was fairly large as well. We also got the yuca frites. They were good. Crispy but still nice and starchy and filling. Not my favorite dish but only because of personal preference and not because they didn't do it well! Lastly we ended with the pork shank special they had for the night. It was absolutely amazing. The meat just fell off the bone and was so tender. I loved how the mushroom and spinach came with the pork. All of the different parts of the fish came together really well to made it exceptional. It was a hearty and comforting meal and I wish it were on their regular menu! I'm excited to come here again in the future to try more dishes.

I got to my lunch late, so it was cold. Fine. Not their fault. What was their fault: the rice was dried out and crunchy like it had been sitting since the day before. It was inedible. I drove into the center just to see what was there, and that's when I found Casera. The pictures in the window caught my eye, so I figured I'd stop in and try a few empanadas. The woman behind the counter told me they had three kinds that day: spinach and cheese, chicken, and beef. I ordered two of each and literally cleaned her out. From the moment I walked in, the place had such an authentic, family-run feel -- you can just tell when food is made with care. She asked if I wanted hot sauce, and I told her I love hot sauce. She handed me both a salsa verde and a salsa rojo, and man... after the very first bite (I started with the chicken), I completely lost my mind. I added the sauces and went to town. Before I knew it, I had eaten all six empanadas. I am ridiculously full right now, but they were so good I honestly couldn't stop myself. If I had ordered a dozen, I would've eaten a dozen. Thank you for being here, thank you for the amazing food, and thank you for giving me something to look forward to every week. I'll definitely be back.

Tho when I'm craving a dessert stop here I favor the guava pastry and the alfajores, & you have to special order the cheese Pastry/bread. I'm a huge fan of "pudim" that's how you say flan in Portuguese! Yet the flan is not my favorite here since the sugar caramelization it's usually cooked too much, causing a burnt flavor, and the consistency is too aerated rather than having a creamy and smooth consistency. I've tried it a few times and that seems to be their consistent style. We get cravings for this place and like that we're mainly serviced by the nice owners of this restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in their native culture in mind. I love that! If you're craving a good empanada or a sweet tooth treat come and give them a try!
