His driving was smooth, he looked like a million bucks, his sense of humor was top notch, loved his suggestions and I could listen to stories about his family and life all day long. I loved that he was so kind to make us delicious cookies and would carry all of our purchases to the car, a true gentleman. I could go on and on all day about how much we enjoyed his company and professionalism. He also kept us on track for our reservations. We didn't have to worry about our schedule, he would just walk up to our table with enough time to grab the check and make purchases. He would then stand near the exit to give us space but also close enough to see if we needed help with anything. Booked last minute for a Thursday in early May. They had to come down to get us in Cayucos, and with the quick turnaround, the manager ended up just taking us himself. I'm kind of a control freak, so planned a lot of the day myself (especially since we needed appointments), but he helped as much as I let him and he was willing to help more. We have a small dog who takes a while to get to like people. She never fully dropped her guard, but he was good with her the whole time even when she growled or barked. Safe driver, and "read the room" well as far as whether we wanted discussion or not, which was a pleasant mix the entire trip. Was also polite to (and seemed to be known by) the winery folks, so we were treated well. Definitely recommend and definitely will use again. read more

Booked 3 days with Wayne of Destination Drivers. During this Covid time reservations are required almost everywhere. We are used to starting the day early and finishing late. He kept us on time. If we were running late, he called ahead to hold our next reservation. We booked 2/3 of our reservations and he took care of the rest. His were our favorites. Most importantly, we have a personal protection dog. He still has issues telling real threats from potential. Wayne handled him well. They road in the same vehicle for 3 days. Wayne showed no fear and kept him company when we were tasting. Making sure the truck remained cool at all times. Offering treats on occasion. The cheese plates are well worth the slight charge. Wayne brought water each day and offered to pick up bread and pastries when we mentioned we were looking for a bakery. This type of service is reasonably priced. The freedom from DUI exposure and the added location knowledge of the driver makes it a no brainer. Wayne's professionalism, attention to detail, local knowledge and ability to handle our dog make him our choice as a driver. We are officially addicted.
