Ordered swag with customized logos for my team at work! Out of the list of items I found on their website I wanted, Design Like Whoa replied and pointed out which ones were and weren't available given my team size and sent me some ideas for alternatives, and they also offered suggestions for what items to go with to help us stay within budget. I sent them the PNGs for the logos and had my teammates fill out the Google Forms for sizes and addresses, and they took care of everything else. Very fast response time and great communication. We got tote bags and sweatshirts - they are very cute and good quality! read more

They weren't able to help me with what I needed. But they did give me some referrals for where they'll be able to help me with my needs. Thank you read more

I had an initially frustrating experience as multiple emails inquiring about a quote were never answered (three sent over the course of a week). When I called and chose the prompt to ask for a quote, the recording said email is the best way. Finally after calling and leaving a voicemail, the owner contacted me and was apologetic saying my emails must have gone to spam and she kindly referred me to several other companies that may be able to help me (my project is too small for their services.) So, if you try to reach them via email and don't hear back, try voicemail. read more

Not really fair of me to rate anything lower than 5 stars. We walked in after finding them here, on Yelp. The girl who helped us was super nice & friendly but she gave us info that wasn't in their description or on any of the reviews. It would've saved us a trip if we had read any of this first. They do not do small orders, just bulk & are by appointment only. They don't really do same day orders because of those 2 things. when we explained what we were looking for, she referred us to a friend of hers (who couldn't help us either because he normally does bulk orders as well). Really nice service but not what we were looking for & none of that info was available before we got there. read more

Gemma and the Design Like Whoa team are awesome! They helped us out on a tight timeline for an event we had (only a week from when we made contact), and the quality was really, really good. We were so pleased we've made Design Like Whoa our go-to apparel company. Screen printing and embroidery and it all looks great. Thanks you guys! Highly recommend. read more

Super. Okay, maybe a little more description is warranted. My daughter's soccer team was in the market for new hoodies and training tops. We took a long time to decide, were flaky in our communication, and could not spend a ton of money. The folks at Design Like Whoa stood by us despite our fickle nature and sporadic communication. They were patient, responsive, and gave us great options whenever asked. I had to visit the location a couple of times to pick up or drop off samples, so also met other members of the team and all were freindly and helpful. The merchandise was high quality with vivid colors and nice look. A team of teenagers love the look and feel, so we will take the win! I will have no hesitation in returning back to DLW for future projects. Thanks, especially to Kristi, Gemma, and the rest of the DLW crew who helped make the process smooth and pleasant. Well done! read more

I use this place to print out our uniforms. High quality t-shirt & superb printing work. They delivered the uniforms on time. The most important assets of this place is the staff. Sabrina is awesome. She is very helpful and attentive. I am going to ask them to print me more stuff. read more

Reached out to Design Like Whoa with very little knowledge of the process of printing on clothing. They walked me through the process, quoted a very reasonable price, and turned it around two days quicker than expected. Very pleased with the results & wish that more business operates like this! Definitely recommend! read more

I contacted Alexis with a vague concept of what I was looking for and she kindly steered me in the right direction. With a quick turnaround time needed, she provided excellent suggestions and ensured that we received our order ahead of our target date. It was a great experience from start to finish and I look forward to working with Design Like Whoa in the future. read more

More like Design Like Whoa these people are amazing! Came to them with a design and they were able to get it on 30 shirts for me at a competitive rate and in record time. My 10yo old nephew was so excited to get his new logo on apparel he could give to his friends. If you're in the market for custom merch get a quote ASAP! read more

Design like Whoa is a heaven sent! after having difficulties with another printer I decided to last-minute switch and try design like whoa. They were able to turn around three shirt designs for me without any headaches and with the most amazing customer care imaginable! I am so impressed with their staff in the quality of their shirts that I don't think I will ever use anybody else again! Thank you so much for all the help! read more

I needed a quick turnaround time on a very small order - just a graphic printed on a single t-shirt. I did lots of research but most screenprinting companies only cater to large minimums (at least 15 shirts) and had typical turnaround times of 2 weeks. But this company stood out because they could do rush orders, and they had all the info I needed on their website: screenprinting types + recommendations for which ones to choose, available t-shirts, and minimums. I requested a quote on the weekend, they got back to me first thing Monday morning, and had my order completed by noon the same day. The graphic came out great, couldn't be happier! Will definitely use these folks again. read more

Last year for Xmas I ordered 10 shirts last minute to have custom printed for a family holiday get together. The staff was super helpful and responsive and I got the shirts in time. They were awesome and soft! I had to pay a rush fee, but it was worth it. Great quality, great service. read more

Devon at Design Like Whoa was amazing to work with on my custom order - especially as I was working with a tight timeline. She was incredibly speedy, friendly, and responsive. I appreciate her time and attention to my order! read more

Contacted these guys via Yelp messenger on a Saturday to have a small batch (6) of custom t's printed by end of day Thursday for a bachelor party. They happily obliged and quoted me a price in line with the rest of the vendors I contacted. Being a North Beach local, I figured this was my best bet, and even if they had quoted me $10-20 more, I likely still would have gone with the local option. The invoicing process was smooth and painless, as they use mobile-friendly invoicing software that allowed me to approve and pay for the custom design within an hour or so of sending them the picture. Pickup was fast and friendly, but I still took some time to browse their store, which was really impressive in its selection for being a small North Beach storefront. The shirts themselves were fantastic for being their cheapest option. Soft, thick cotton (maybe some poly in there too, I didn't check) and great print quality. The guys who got the shirts really liked them as well, and some even tell me they're still wearing them on a regular basis because they like the shirts so much. Thanks so much to DLW for everything. Next time I'm in the market for custom t-shirts in the Bay Area, you'll be the first and only place I visit. read more

Great customer service! Very clear instruction on what needs to be done next in order carry out the swag order for my team which was delivered timely and with great quality. The process is really smooth, would definitely recommend to anyone! read more

We used 'Design Like Whoa' for our Team Swag at work. I ordered custom mugs and they turned out AMAZING. The team loved them, I loved them, and now they are a hot commodity for the rest of the company around the office since only a select few of us have them! :) Gemma and her team were a joy to work with, they were quick to reply, get pricing, and help with any adjustments needed to our designs. Turn around time was speedy and quality was on point. read more

I came here already a few times to print t shirts and i'm always super happy with the results. Reasons why to go here: - Staff is friendly and helpful ( advice measurements, colors etc. ) - Quality of prints is very good. - You can bring your own t shirt/ hoodies - Fast service read more

Had to find a place that was willing to print one mug within 2 business days for work. Most places had a minimum order of 6-12, and a lead time of 3-5 business days...I found Design Like Whoa on Yelp after Googling, and they were great! Gemma was awesome, and very quick to reply to my email. The whole transaction from beginning to end was quick and painless, I will definitely go there again in the future. read more

Definitely overdue for a review for these guys. Super last second had the idea to get some shirts made for a friend's bday. Very small order and needed a 2 day turnaround, and they were able to accommodate. I don't recommend waiting til the last minute as they may not be able to things so quickly always, but they were super helpful and even fixed up my crappy powerpoint design to make things look at least slightly professional. Didn't charge me extra for the last minute charge, and it was all super reasonable. Thanks again guys, will definitely skip the big online guys for future orders. read more

I needed some last-minute pillow cases printed (with my boss's face on them - LOL) and couldn't find anywhere to do it with a 24-hour turn around. A friend of mine suggested Design like Whoa and I took a shot in the dark and sent an email to Gemma around 10pm. Not only did she respond within the hour - she said she could do it! I went the next day and the pillows turned out better than I could have imagined. They were the highlight of the party! Thanks again Gemma and Designs like Whoa. I will be recommending this company and their screen printing to everyone I know! read more

Great communication, quick turnaround and quality Tshirts that everyone loved! We made about 25 shirts in various sizes that needed a rush order. The printing and shirt material were great quality. At that amount, shirts came out to be about $12-$15 per shirt (we needed some 3xl shirts) which is extremely reasonable given that they helped do a basic design for us (1 color text), the high quality of the material, and the quick turnaround. Will definitely come back again if I am in need of shirts! read more

I stumbled upon Design Like Woah after a google search for embroidery vendors nears me (Mid-Market SF), and after reading their marvelous Yelp reviews I decided to reach out to them for a business project; we needed our logos embroidered on a few employee gifts (jackets), and I can report that they do not disappoint. I was in direct contact with Kristi and Gemma -- they made sure everything went smoothly, they were responsive, patient and put up with my endless questions. Their turn around was lightning fast, and the end projects looked incredible. They have affordable prices, and their customer service was beyond fantastic. I recommend using Design Like Whoa, and I look forward to working with them again. read more

The team was great! I made an appointment to design st.patricks day themed sweatpants for a family party in Boston. Great service and the souvenir we made was a big hit! read more

Excellent service, high quality printing. Helped us figure out best logistics, printing methods and pricing. Shirts look great!

Wowsa. These guys are great. I needed a t-shirt for a special event and they turned one around in just a couple of hours. Amazing customer service and very, very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this shop, they came through when others could not. read more

I have used many online t-shirt printing services such as zazzle. The price was good but the print quality was always poor, the tshirt quality was spotty and delivery timelines were unreliable . Design Like Whoa was recommended to me because they were local and we needed the product quickly. Excellent Company. The print quality was excellent, the quality of the tshirt was very good and will not fall apart after 2 washings. Plus they ship. Awesome. As an artist, I want my artwork to look as good as possible. I love their printing technology. My artworks looked excellent. I will not question sending my next project to Design Like Whoa. Thanks for the excellent work. 5 stars read more

There have been quite a few times when I've needed t-shirts to be printed with a very strict deadline, and every time a situation like this comes up, I always turn to Design Like Whoa because they are reliable, easy to work with, and the products they produce are of very high quality. To be honest though, I think I go back mostly because their staff is very attentive and accommodating to customer needs. I want to give a special shout out to Sabrina in particular who is a joy to work with. Thank you all for your hard work! I will keep recommending you to anyone in need of branded swag! Thanks :) read more

The team at Design Like Woah was so kind and accommodating for my rush two day turnaround for a batch of T-shirt's. Communication was seamless and they are very fast to respond by both phone and email. My order was 8 Direct-to-Garment T-shirt's on a navy blue T-shirt. I was worried the lighter colors of the print would not turn out on the dark base, but everything printed beautifully. Not to mention the water based ink used is not smelly like other digital prints I have encountered elsewhere. All in all amazing service! I feel like there is nothing this crew can not handle! read more

Gemma and her team are responsive and provide an exceptional custom service. They're a gem! My team wanted to make a going away shirt one of our members. We took a while to make the design and then scrambled to find a place that could print them in time. We stumbled across Design Like WHOA (I love their name!). We reached out to them for a quote and an estimate on time (we needed them by Monday morning and it was Thursday afternoon when we put in our request). They got back to us a few minutes after we sent it! I was expecting a 24 hr response time. Gemma asked for the illustrator file and then shared some mock-ups for us. She was great at communicating with us and making sure we were completely satisfied with the mock-up before moving forward. To be clear, all this communication happened over the span of maybe 2-3 hours on the Thursday we contacted them. :) The total was cheaper than another place we were looking at and the turnaround time was far superior (we received an email letting us know they were done Friday afternoon!) When we got the shirts, they were perfect! So soft! And the color was just right (I was worried it would be too bright, but they really did a great job at making my vision come true!). All in all, they were fantastic! I felt like I was an integral part of the process and was involved every step of the way. I would absolutely recommend them to someone and will definitely return to them for any future t-shirt needs. Thanks Design Like WHOA! read more

I used DLW to embroider company jackets with our corporate logo. Kristi and the entire DLW team were extremely helpful throughout the process. I'm thrilled to finally see a company like this in San Francisco! Sabrina was very prompt to reply to my initial request - shout out to their amazing customer care team! I found Design Like Whoa after another vendor last minute was unable to fulfill our request for bachelorette tanks. The quality of the shirts and print itself was on point. A very professional and communicative company that provides honest quotes and reliable turn around times. read more

I wanted to order a large bulk of custom company sweatshirts, so I started to look online and order from some well-known online printing sites. But this was a harder project than I expected because several companies were messing up my order, running out of product, being unresponsive, etc. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to look up a local screen printing shop on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I called Design Like Whoa right away and Gemma took all my information down and we had my order placed in about an hour. She made the process so easy, was very responsive, and the sweatshirts arrived (earlier than expected) looking exactly how I wanted them. I wish I had found this company from the start! They would have saved me so much wasted time and headache. read more

Amazing service & quality! Had to get 4 different custom shirts printed in one day, and Sabrina made it happen! She coached us through the design, placement, and material (vinyl) and got the job done incredibly fast. I'm super impressed with the cost too - I was shocked how much we got in such a rushed timeline at that price! I highly recommend this place and will come back anytime I need to make custom shirts. read more

I sent Gemma a note seeing if she would do a small batch of running singlets for a couple of buddies and myself.I had the design all ready to go and walked in gave them the shirts, the design and came back a couple of days later to get the finished product. Super tough to find a place that is local, will do small batch work, and is helpful. Gemma stayed a little later then the posted 6:30 closing time on a Friday night to get them finished up, pretty pumped about how they came out. I've already told at least 3 people about them and plan to be back when I need more things thrown onto shirts or really anything. Thanks guys, really happy you're in the City! read more
