I've been here twice and had the cauliflower Manchurian with gravy the vegetarian noodles and their fries with gravy. And when I tell you, it was a 10 out of 10 both times please believe me. Definitely coming back a third maybe a fourth time to try the fried Momos

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I tried... after a long wait of it telling me it was "working on it", it finally failed. When I called, I encountered the expected language barrier, so I decided I'd just go to the place and show them the order on my phone to avoid any confusion. Ambiance was just as expected. Inside a gas station convenience store. No frills. Perfectly fine by me. The first guy that showed up to help me was too busy cooking and sent some woman over. I tried to place my order with her. When I said "pork" for the momo, an option listed on the menu, I was told "no pork". Apparently only chicken. Then I tried ordering the chicken biryani. Pretty sure I pronounced it correctly--or at least close enough since it's worked just fine at other places. She had no idea what I was wanting. I showed her the order on my phone. I think she was telling me it was also not available; I really wasn't sure. Unfortunately, I had to leave. I wasn't feeling the "friendly 5-star experience" that other reviewers mentioned as well as what I've always experienced at the other Nepali restaurants in the area that I've been to. I see "under new ownership" mentioned on the website. Perhaps the 5-star reviews were for the previous owners? Disappointed.

My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence. The beauty of the restaurant scene in Arlington is that there is so many different authentic cuisines from very specific regions. If you wanna have Indian food in Arlington you have to consider what kind of Indian food you want. If you go to downtown Fort Worth an Indian restaurant is an Indian restaurant. This little restaurant is a good representation of what Arlington restaurants have to offer. We will go back, soon.

If you are like me, just know that Nepalese has hints of other South Asian flavors like Indian food--richly spiced and layered in flavor, nicely cooked veggies. First off, the atmosphere is great! The restaurant is clean, colorful and welcoming. If you're tall, you may need to duck under the light fixtures. The service is so spectacular-- attentive and friendly. The server really added a special touch to our night. But we're all really curious to know about the food. It. Was. Mind-blowing. No, seriously. It is, without a doubt one of the best places in Arlington. We went with another couple who share my porous food boundaries so we ordered several thing and shared. The best bite was the vegetarian Aloo Cauliflower. Second best bite was the Royal Kofta Ball. We also tried a couple of chicken dishes that were delicious. You know it's a good place when you find yourself craving the Aloo Cauliflower even though it's been less than 48 hours. If you're in Arlington (and even if you aren't). Royal Nepal is Arlington's best restaurant--there, I said it.
