This place is awesome. I love the muffins and the sandwiches. My personal preference would be to have some bread selections that aren't an inch thick per slice. Also, if you want a good laugh, tell them no butter on their breakfast sandwich. I've made that request 5 times and they still put the butter in 4 out of the 5 times :) But anyway I love this place. I have been trying to come by to try the famous Muffins and coffee. So, this morning I drive up to the window and a lovely young lady welcomes me and takes my order. Very friendly service and tried hard to make sure I get exactly what I ordered. I returned to my office with my ham and cheese croissant, muffin and coffee. I must say.........I am pleasantly surprised. The croissant was delicious, the coffee was very tasty and hot but that darn muffin wasn't big enough. I ate the last bite looking for one more bite. First time in Yuma, the vanilla cappuccino was delicious, aside from that pretty basic and bland in terms of the food. Not sure what all the type on the muffins if about, had the raspberry muffin and it was pretty dense and earthy. Lots of cyclists meet there so I'm sure I must be missing something. I grew up in Yuma and knew about Mostly Muffins when my childhood orthodontist's wife owned it. Never got around to trying the muffins though since I moved away for University of Tucson and only returned to visit. We just returned home to NY after visiting my parents a few days ago; decided to purchase a dozen muffins for our long journey the next day. I agree with a previous reviewer. Something about the texture didn't seem right; very dense and crumbly. The flavor was bland. The service, however, was outstanding and the decor was charming and clean. read more

Love mostly muffins! If you need a nice warm breakfast or just craving a some sweets this is the place! They offer an array of muffins choices. One of my favorite breakfast hangouts! Chocolate Cheesecake muffins (Thu-Sat) are the best. Pros: -Nice Morning staff. Fri/Sat morning staff is great. -Great muffins...good sized and always fresh...wide selection -Hot chocolate made with milk! -Great Chocolate Mocha drinks that have LOTS of caffeine :) -Clean/cool place to sit in while eating..free wi fi! - I can walk there in the winter time! Cons: -Soft drinks have MUCH more ice than anything else in the cup. -Pricey....Hot chocolates over $2....where are we Starbucks? They are good, and i pay the price anyways...but still seems rather pricey -The afternoon staff (who i never see before maybe 10am?) needs some work on friendliness....which is too bad because the morning staff is VERY personable/friendly. I came here recently for the first time in years. I loved it then and love it still. I had a chocolate chip muffin and tried the cheesecake.. make sure to get the cream cheese with whichever muffin you choose! I'm sure anything else they have here would be delicious but can't speak from experience.. yet. Stopped by here in our way to Flagstaff from San Diego and we're pleasantly surprised. The muffins are big and really good. The breakfast sandwiches are also very good. Not overly greasy or seasoned which we like. They seem to focus on local food sources so that's always a plus. Will stop by again if we're ever in the area. read more

Hands down, my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in town. The cheesecake muffin is unbeatable, and I'd travel across the country for it. Their service is so amiable and professional, and the baked goods are always fresh and delicious. Overall a 10/10 spot. Ok, so the muffins are good. The chicken salad sandwich is amazing. The bread is awesome!!! Is it homemade? Can I buy it somewhere? Can I marry it? Why can't I have it all the time? Oh, because it's too good to be healthy probably. Anyway, this place has stolen a small piece of my heart, mainly because the bread is soooo good. Try the zucchini muffin, it's really good for those of you who aren't fans of icing. But do ask for it warm and slather on some butter. What an awesome find! A quick stop before heading back on the road, we had the special. Half tuna sandwich on a croissant, a cup of ravioli tomato basil soup, mini muffin and drink for under $7. There are no labels on the muffins so you constantly gotta ask which is which. My hot chocolate was fairly cold not even hot. Not much to add to your coffee either. I asked for a cup of water, was charged 25cents and the water was definitely tap water, disgusting taste! read more

Horrible. So horrible, this place has RUINED muffins for me for the rest of my life because they are so delicious! I CANNOT eat muffins from any other restaurant or bakery. Unless I make it myself, then it's tolerable. I was recently in Chandler, AZ and stopped for breakfast at a popular bakery/cafe where I ordered a lemon poppyseed which is one of my all-time favorites, it was disgusting. The ugliest muffins I've ever come across. None of them were uniform or labled. It looked like someoneone let a preschool come in and try to bake. Ordered two muffins, one with cream cheese frosting and the other was a day old. The cream cheese frosting was thick, grossly sweet and was not made there, definitely canned frosting. The day old muffin was as moist as the freshly baked one....neither were very soft. Finally went to find a place to sit but all the tables were covered in crumbs. The girl and the guy with plugs at the counter just stood there and talked like I was paying to eat in a high school cafeteria. Fact: high school cafeterias are cleaned and have better muffins. Not returning. Change your name to dirty crumbs or change your staff and muffin standards. read more

The perfect spot to drop in for breakfast! On a road trip to San Diego from Arizona, my husband & I were looking for something local and fast. Our sewing group had lunch and we were very happy with the food. A couple of the girls had the cabbage soup with half sandwich. They offer tuna or chicken salad which the gals said was excellent. I had the oriental chicken salad which was one of the best I have ever had. We all had muffins which were really fantastic. We all left with muffins for our husbands to try or for breakfast the next day. There is every type of muffin you could eat. Some of the muffins are topped with cream cheese and yes they make sugar free muffins but they go quickly. We will absolutely try them again. ENJOY!!! read more
