They are a class act! Every staff member we have interacted with have all been professional & friendly. The restaurant has warm inviting decor & we love the bar area. Lots of great choices on the menu & wonderful daily specials. We love this restaurant so much that we hosted a baby shower may of 2026 in one of their upstairs private rooms. The event planner was great to work. She had wonderful suggestions on menu & set up. We chose a brunch buffet & added some of their appetizers & fresh fruit. We had rave reviews from all who attended on the venue, staff & food. We will continue to dine here and would highly recommend the space upstairs for private events. Ample parking - but one suggestion is make a reservation, as they are always busy

My wife had the fish and chips. Food was good and plentiful. Service was very good, ate with some old friends, there was no rush, they gave us plenty of space. The menu is varied, specials are not typical fare, but also do not become science projects like so many "creations" do. The food is left to speak for itself. Affordable. Two small criticisms, can be loud in certain areas. They are very accommodating in moving you. The parking lot. Walking over the bridge can be an issue with cars. Worth the trip.

Been here twice now on the recommendation from family. Stopped once before the Tartan Terrors at…read morethe Appell Center and again just cause we enjoyed it so much the first time! I'm not a heavy drinker but I enjoy a social drink now and then. They have an excellent selection of seasonal brews for every taste. (I like more light beers while my husband and father in law prefer the darker ones) Food wise you can't go wrong with their BBQ. I had gotten a fish and chips special in March and I wish they still had it on the menu! Fish was so light and crispy, not greasy like most I've had. This time I had the half chicken which came with a corn bread muffin, baked beans and BBQ sauce. Chicken was so tender and juciy, I had enough for another meal. Husband had the brisket sandwich and just the plan brisket the next time. Said the sandwich was better, not as dry as just the meat. We made the mistake of ordering an appetizer and soup with our BBQ trays and all the food came out within 10 minutes of each course. Waitress apologized that the BBQ platters don't take long to get together so its just something to keep in mind. I remember the first time our appetizer and entrees came out later so it really depends on what you order. Both times we got the large pub pretzel with crab dip. So good! I do recommend reservations as it seems to fill pretty fast. It's a large open restaurant with beautiful decor and outdoor seating that will probably open up with the warmer weather. Just watch the timing and what you order or you might end up with a buffet like we did. Plus side, it was all good left over!

Got drinks - my husband was delighted with the beer options and loved the single hop All Citra the best, and he is a beer snob (in the best way!). The Sauvignon blanc was ok, but I realize that is not their focus. We had calamari to share - good flavor, but more pillowy than crisp. The platters are the way to go - $20 for a ridiculous amount of terrific food! The pulled pork was smoky, tender and homemade sauces were perfect. Sides of coleslaw, beans and a cornbread muffin were all tasty and a nice sized serving. I had enough left for another whole meal! The brisket was awesome too - got a chunk from my husband. Our server was Allie - she did a great job - there when we needed her, knowledgeable and nice as could be! The food is served quickly, which was nice if you are traveling. Overall, a fun experience in a beautiful setting and a very reasonable price.

Stopped there after work and was able to grab a chicken finger basket before the fryer shutdown for the night. Pretty decent and would like to stop for lunch sometime. The only thing I can even say about the food is that I didn't try it -- and thank God for that,…read morebecause after what I went through, I wouldn't want to give them a single dime of business. Let me be absolutely clear: this place might as well hang a sign out front that says "Whites Only." The energy, the glares, the outright hostility -- all of it screams you're not welcome here. If you're Black, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. From the moment I walked in, every face turned toward me like I had just crashed their family reunion -- the Brady Bunch and their extended Confederate cousins all rolled into one. The tension in that room was suffocating. Then came the so-called bartender -- a bitter, worn-down, nasty woman with the personality of a cold ashtray. She went out of her way to make me feel invisible and unwanted, acting like my presence alone ruined her day. She didn't serve with attitude; she served disrespect. And just when I thought the encounter couldn't possibly get worse, this miserable, wrinkled clown had the audacity to bark "Don't come back!" as I was leaving. That's fine -- trust me, I WON'T. But they need to know this: word travels fast, and people deserve to know exactly what kind of hateful establishment this is. -A Black Guy
