I absolutely love this place! I did photography at this place during the New Year's Eve and I had a lot of fun celebrating with kind people and kind staff members. The drinks that were served were served promptly and there is always a good sports game on. The happy hour prices are very competitive with the other bars in Pasadena and when I return to this city, Der Wolf will be the place I return.

Came here for Mother's Day brunch. Was real excited to know they serve 19$ bottomless mimosas here. We arrived at 10:30 and had reservations for 11am. We got seated almost immediately which I liked considering it was earlier than our reservation time. On the menu they had 3 different flavor mimosas which were orange, mango & pineapple. For food, I ordered the steak and eggs the eggs were cooked perfectly but were very oily. Steak was good too & I really enjoyed their breakfast potatoes. Service was great. Server was very attentive & filled out mimosas glasses as soon as we would finish which I love lol. We would definitely come back here for a game night.

Always a good time at DeWolf. The staff is always nice. And the food is good . Nice place to have parties, but they need to upgrade furniture but overall it's decent and cool.

September 20, 2025 | Pasadena | Game night, great vibes & delicious bites on a Saturday Night! Yes, please! A night at Der Wolf made for a fun Girls Night Out! Oh, yes! Let's go! Games | A wide variety & so many, over 100 games! Some games are even life size & others were childhood favorites, which were fun to play! Fun! Uno being one of my favorites! There were several games I had never heard of & others had a title that made my friend & I laugh outloud! Hahaha! There was a game of Musical Chairs like I've never seen before! Hahaha! Special Event | Game Night was by Mingle & Plei! Fun events, as I've attended another one of their events at another location! Grateful that my friend found this event company & she invited me! We always have a blast! Shrimp & Fries | I was amazed at first bite by the crispy & flavorful shrimp & tasty fries, no ketchup needed! The portions are a nice size! I almost ate it all; didn't make it through the fries! However, the shrimp were gone in a hot second! Hahaha! Very tasty! DJ | Music | Incredible!!! A variety of music that will definitely have you dancing in your seat or even get you up from playing games & dance!! The DJ is a vibe! I love it! Atmosphere | 21 & over! Upbeat, friendly & excitable! People are in a playful & fun mood and clearly love playing games & great music! I love enjoying life to the fullest & the crowd is a whole vibe! We had even more fun once fun people came over to our table to play games or to simply stop by & say hi! There were also fun birthday celebrations going on! Parking | Nearby! Paid in a parking garage! Overall | Yes! Der Wolf is a win, a fun experience, especially for game night! Let's go!

The guy bar tender was great. The girl was a little focused on phone. We initially came for a different place that opens later in the evening which was not advertised appropriately. We order a beer and the Betty boop w/tequila and whiskey. I prefer the whiskey. The place was not that busy family oriented until a certain time. The music was nice very nostalgic. Also, had the wings buffalo. The food was definitely tasty.

Celebrated the first half of my birthday here with friends- had a blast and got a free birthday shot from the bartender. Great for big group gatherings. My favorite is the watermelon candy - if you enjoy tamarindo, this drink is for you and I

I will never come to this place again. We were here for the Mexico game and I just wanted to order food but because we didn't have a table, they didn't let us order food.

Was supposed to come here for the bar next to it but it was closed, but was pleasantly surprised by this bar. We came a day before Christmas Eve and they had karaoke night. The vibes were fun and the flights were good, and strong. We got some food as well, I enjoyed the pretzel to help absorb the alcohol. Not a fan of the tots...I think it needs salsa or more sauce. The service was great.

This is a cool little spot to check out for either boxing or ufc events, grab some food with your friends and have a drink or two or three lol. The place is pretty big with the main bar area at the entrance, an outside patio section and a small bar downstairs. The servers and owner are always friendly and they are pretty good at checking to see if you need another drink. We haven't been to check out a fight in a while but we recently stopped by after a hike on a Sunday to grab a bite to eat. The cool thing about Sunday brunches at Der Wolf is, it isn't crowded and they have a DJ who plays some dope music. As for the food, I ordered the huevos rancheros and a black berry mocktail. The food was delicious and definitely something I would order again. However, I wasn't really feeling the drink. I've never had a mocktail and I had no idea what I was drinking but it did taste exactly like a cocktail with no alcohol. It's not their fault, I'm just not a fan of it. Overall, it's a fun place to hang out and I did notice that some of the table (cloths?) were ripped, so just remember it is a bar. However, the place is clean, people are friendly and you're there to just eat and have a good time (nothing fancy or romantic). they also have a beer pong table in the middle of the place so it's always fun to watch drunk people playing and dancing. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Say no to the garlic fries . You won't regret it
Net G.

I ordered the steak frites based off of a yelp photo and I fully regret it . I did not want to be rude because I want to support but you can tell that the quality is not like it used to be even though we were first timers. Drink deals are amazing and so is the staff . We will come back to drink and do apps but I highly recommend you NOT eat here for dinner . The steak tasted like hamburger meat with fake grill lines . Most likely frozen and the garlic fries were drenched in whatever garlics sauce they had . Almost inedible . I couldn't do it. My husband got a dog and tots tho and he enjoyed them but I'm not a fan of hot dogs so I opted in for the steak . 10/10 will not recommend but will come back because they were sweet and it really is a nice vibe in here . Still kicking myself that we didn't go to Cheesecake Factory down the street instead for the same priced plate but whatever . Again still support their drinks and apps and dogs although Brussels could've used more sauce / seasoning . Still please show in some love . We were the only customers on a Saturday afternoon @4pm . Catch me at a Jack in the box right now to fulfill my dinner needs lol

It is now our favorite local place to unwind with a few libations, some games and usually an enormous, delicious pretzel. The staff is next-level friendly, and it rubs off on the customers, most of which are regulars. They host so many events and always keep the menu exciting. Plus they have an awesome dog-friendly patio! Love this place. The only negative thing I'd say is that the roar of the customers against the hard-surfaced walls and ceiling can really get overwhelming at times, but whatever. Not usually a big deal. Just hit the patio if it's too noisy inside. Definitely check out the place if you haven't yet.

LADIES, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Save your money and think twice before visiting this business!…read more Just as I have recommended this place to several people in the past, I believe it's equally important to share my negative experience and be honest about what happened. I visited with a group of new friends who had never been to this establishment before. Less than 20 minutes into our visit, we were dealing with a clearly intoxicated male & female sitting next to us who repeatedly accused us of bumping into him, not saying "excuse me" etc. despite the fact that we had only just arrived. He was clearly intoxicated. The situation quickly escalated into verbal harassment, and my friend and I were insulted and made to feel extremely uncomfortable. The man physically got out of his chair and yelled at us on two separate occasions, leaving us feeling unsafe and concerned that the situation could turn physical. We brought the issue to the manager's attention, expecting the situation to be handled appropriately. Instead, the individuals involved were allowed to remain at the bar. We were essentially told to sit at opposite ends of the establishment rather than seeing any meaningful action taken to address the behavior. As a customer, I should not have to leave a business because I feel unsafe after reporting aggressive and intimidating behavior. My friend and I ultimately decided to leave, despite having every intention of enjoying our evening. Several other people witnessed what happened. I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. A business has a responsibility to take its customers' safety seriously, especially when someone is visibly intoxicated and behaving aggressively toward others. I genuinely wanted to love this place and had previously encouraged others to visit. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion. No one should have to choose between their personal safety and enjoying a night out. I hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future, because the way a business responds to its customers when something goes wrong says everything about its standards and values.

About an hour in, this dude comes inside with the biggest pit bull I've ever seen. It must have been bred with a horse or something, it weighs a solid 125+ pounds. Guy sits at the bar and the bartenders ogle the dog and usual. The dog lays down on the floor at the corner of the bar, on the way to the restrooms as the guy flirts with the bartenders and has his drink. 10min later this chick walking to the bathroom trips over this black dog lying on the floor and faceplants onto the floor! Lady pops up from embarrassment and dog owner grabs its chain before it has a chance to react. Fricking hilarious, but crisis averted! The guy moves to a table at the middle of the bar with the same dog at his feet. The moron bartenders don't bother to tell him to go outside or anything else. So 5 min later a guy walking buy steps on the dogs leg or tail and the thing jumps up and almost lunges at the guy and starts barking. It was frickin unbelievable how stupid he and the workers here were. Finally one of the guys in the bar says something to the bartender about the dog, and they just wave him off. Wow! First off the honey garlic chicken was AMAZING. the chicken was super juicy and crispy and the honey made the fried skin taste like a biscuit. It was actually insane, I would come back here just for the chicken, 10/10. The seafood pancake was also amazing. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It had lots of shrimp and squid, and dipped in the sauce it was delicious, 10/10. I'd say both the corn cheese and tteokbokki were not super worth it. The tteokbokki was relatively small, given the price. And it was quite spicy, a little too spicy for me. The corn cheese tasted like butane gas, or how a birthday candle smells, so it was just alright. Both were a 5/10. I would definitely come back again to try more food!
