All was fresh and delicious and served by a well versed server. Dinner for two with drinks, soup, entree and dessert was E160 which was really a great deal for the quality of the food we had. What you get for your wait is fresh, charcoal grilled, with perfect seasoning. I don't really think of Berlin as a seafood kind of town, but this food stall has made me reconsider, at least for Saturdays.

It looked cozy and looked like German home cooking. The quaint rustic restaurant was busy the night we went. The waitress which looked like the owner gave us a quick nod to tell she saw us as she was delivering some yummy looking food to a table. We waited by the bar. She led us to a corner table and German menu. Thank goodness for Google translate. It was enough to figure out the menu and also to say Very good once the food was delivered. She gave us a great smile. Thumbs up and another beer! We certainly knew our schnitzel was being made as we can hear the pounding from the kitchen. What came out of the kitchen really did feel like home cooking. We haven't had a bad meal so are in Berlin and this is no different. Mittmanns is a cozy local restaurant that according to the signage has been around for quite a long time and I think it will be around for a while.
