The food here is spectacular! So good I came here 2 days in a row. #4 rice paper spring rolls with chicken & #51 rice dish with chicken, Madami spicy sauce & veggies. EXCELLENT!! Oh and of course a tall cold German beer to wash it all down with! Heaven!

I forgot the exact name of this dish but it had crispy prawn and salmon. The serving size was huge, with a very generous portion of salmon. The salmon was tender and well-seasoned, with crispy skin. The prawn was quite good too, and not greasy despite being fried. There was also a big salad--when I'm traveling I feel like I never get enough vegetables so I really appreciated this. All of this was served on top of a bed of rice and sauce. There was slightly more sauce than I would've liked, which made the end of the meal slightly soggy. Not sure if the restaurant reads these reviews, but one suggestion would be to serve the sauce on the side. All in all, a lovely dining experience.

Best food we've had in Berlin so far. Fresh, authentic and very yummy crispy duck and mango curry. Chanh Da was refreshing and not too sweet.

Modernized, fancy Vietnamese restaurant. My husband and I walked pass this spot on a weekday evening and it was pretty packed. To avoid the crowd we came for lunch on a weekday. The place was comfortably vacant and it was easy to be seated. They do have a lot of different dishes to choose from and the waitress was kind and polite. We ended up choosing the Canh Chua, Bun Bo Hue and green curry. The portions were very good (priced €9-€12) and the soup was sized for one person. The curry flavor was good and so was the soup but I found the Bun Bo Hue to be a little bland. Vibe of the place is casual and trendy. Located in a busy area with lots of other foods and shops near by.

Cool place in Berlin (mitte) near all the shops and sbahn around the block from adidas. I think it's worth the trip. In Berlin it's quite difficult to find a decent meal, trust me I've been here (Berlin) a lot and there is a lot of food around just not great. This place is surely a win for me I had the crispy duck rice dish and it was good. The waiter is a lil slow - I have noticed that in these Viet run places the staff are always chatting and talking a bit too much among them selfs and need to remember that it's a Restaurant and that's it's rude. The waiter must be More attentive and not worry so much about the gossip going on in the kitchen. I would surly return but will need to make better eye contact to get them to pay attention to the customers.

I've been here for dinner once and I like it! As a super picky Vietnamese foodie I am very strict when it comes to Asian food but Madami nailed it. The interior is a good mix between minimalistic and chic - not too facy but not too shady either. I think it's cosy. I ordered stir fried glas noodles with tofu and my dish arrived after 12min! This is fast guys! The dish was all in all perfect. Super nice noodles in an awesome peanut sauce with juicy tofu. Gosh if I wasn't that full I'd ordered some dessert as well. I saw some vegan tofu dessert on the menu which I wanted to try but had to cancel that order since I was too stuffed. In short: Go there! Eat there! Be happy!

I'll start with this - If you crave for summer rolls, take the Madami rolls, this is the best thing that can happen to you. With their homemade sauce which contains all sorts of goodies inside!!!! Felt like coming to this place for quite some time, when I end up in rose Luxembourg str. I always find myself eating somewhere else, but this time we went in- and oh boy, I'm so happy we did. This is one of my best discoveries so far- super tasty and fresh Vietnamese place that feels a bit fusion-ish yet simple. It's very crowded inside if the place is full and somewhat feels like your sharing a table with your fellow diners, it's not much fun if you sit in the middle, so we waited for a short while and got ourselves a table in the sunny corner (most of the restaurant is a bit dark). The waiters are nice and friendly and some speak English, our waiter was very nice and gave us recommendations and tips, we took his advice on changing the summer rolls to Madami rolls and it sure was a good idea. My dish was glass noodles made out of sweet potato with some chicken, the food arrived pretty fast and the taste was really good! My friend had one really crazy dish which unfortunately I can't remember it's name but it contained seafood and beef in some kind of soup- looked amazing and smelled pretty good (couldn't taste as I don't eat seafood) We could barely finish our dishes... The price was also fair for Mitte area. This is one no doubt one of my new Vietnamese favorites!

I found this place through Yelp and after seeing so many stars I decided to give it a try. The food was good. My Chicken Coconut curry rice and vegetables was really great with fresh flavors popping up everywhere. I also had the Pho Hanoi which did not have the same personality. There was nothing especial about it. I am a big fan of Mr Voug their very hype neighbor considered by ones as too hype to be true. I always have Pho there and I can say their Pho is especial and much better than the one at Madami. Mom's Vietnamese Kitchen is not bad at all but it is not amazing. It worth giving it a try.

Ok seriously! how can they be in one of the most transited places in Berlin and be so good and so cheap?! We were there for lunch with 6 adults and 2 kids and everybody got a delicious meal and cleaned the plate as there is no tmw. I had the fried duck and had the chance to try the burger as well highly recommended. That was delicious! I also loved the smoothie with mango and coconut. The service is fast, friendly and it is possible to pay with card which apparently is not very common in Berlin. I was also pleasantly surprised by the kids menu which was a smaller portion of a normal dish. Bravo! I can't stand the fact that restaurants have only fries for kids as they are not also able to enjoy a normal dish. Funny fact! they are connected to the 2nd restaurant that they have around the corner through a back garden and yes! if you pay attention you will see someone jumping in or out through the window with some food in their hands .

It is hard to get good vegetarian versions, since most dishes use fish sauce and you can't just substitute soy sauce and have it taste right unless you really know how to use the rest of the seasonings. Clearly, they do here. The place was very quiet, which is surprising, because it is a gem. I ordered a big bowl of soup which was new to me. It had coconut milk and peanuts with several kinds of mushrooms and rice noodles. Highly recommended. I wish I were staying longer so I can return.

As my wife is a vegetarian and I am not we always try to find the perfect place that makes us both happy. This might just be the one. Not once have I missed meat in any of their dishes. The food here is flavorful, rich, interesting, full of great textures and always presented with a smile. It beats hands down some of the more fancy and famous vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the neighborhood. To round things up: The have pretty great wine for little money. At present still a bit odd an insiders tip but I guess not for very long. My favorite dish on the menu is the No. 20. Highly recommended.

On a weekday…read moreit's probably the busiest place around, It has two small sections of dining room inside but the front patio is quite big and spacious so despite it being somewhat chilly and windy (and a few wasps) we decided to sit outside with a good view for people watching. We had spring rolls (they cut it up so it's a good sharing dish), glass noodle salad and shrimp curry. All pretty good although I'd expected the glass noodles to be spicier. Like most of the restaurants in this area it was cash only (or some kind of local debit card), no credit card which was a bit inconvenient but thankfully we managed since the price was quite reasonable -3 items plus a drink came to about 30 euros.

That combo is rare to come by - so no wonder why this place is always packed. The poor waitress is running around like crazy.. Everything on the menu looks great, and I can endorse both the summer rolls, as well as the fish and veggie curries. Kudos for using organic sweet potato. The mango lasso is a delight, while their take on the mohito is a bland affair. The only big drawback, and BIG it is.. there's now vegetarian pho on the menu! What's up with that??? If I'm lucky they'll put it on the daily specials board one of these days..
