    Pho and papaya salad

Maybe I'm Asian , needed that noodle fix in a foreign country and their dishes satisfied me !

One my favourite places for a work lunch. Still the best pho Ive had in berlin. I am never able to finish in time though. Yummy!!

We arrived at 4pm and it was packed inside, although there was plenty of seating outside (it was cold even with the heaters). Pho broth was clear and yummy. We ordered chicken, meatball, beef and mix. Also got the papaya salad, chicken on a lime, sweet potato fries and the fried taro rolls. All excellent. Only complaints were it's a smaller bowl and in Europe, they don't use those soup spoons, just a large spoon. Would come again. Speak great English, Vietnamese and German (duh!). Takes card. Oh and my daughter thought it was legit because they served the Rooster Sriracha (most of the time you see a duck or goose brand)!

I took a Mr. & Mrs. Phô which was tasty and delicious. It reminded me my trip to Vietnam because all the flavors of the Phô were there. The homemade drink with ginger and apple was fresh and great as well.

The Pho - Noodlebar is a very cozy and warmhearted Vietnamese restaurant with a young in Mitte, located close to the Ubahn station 'Oranienburger Tor'. It is a newly opened business specialized in the traditional Vietnamese noodle soup 'Pho'. Food: The menu is rather compact and includes smaller finger food dishes, variations of the traditional Pho, some rice dishes and a dessert section. Even though, variety is not big, the dishes I tried are really authentic and delicious. Especially the smaller dishes and the Pho taste great, and are one of the best Phos in Berlin. The home made ice teas are worth to try - very tasty an refreshing. They use fresh herbs and great ingredients, such as lime, mint, lemongrass, etc. for the drinks. Service: A very young and attentive team. The dishes are served quickly and always with a smile. :) Especially, the owner is really putting effort into her business and takes care personally of the comfort and enjoyment of her guests. Interior/Ambience: The restaurant has a nice outdoor space, where guests can enjoy their meals in the sun, but the interior inside the place is nicely decorated as well. It reminds of a traditional Vietnamese home and gives a warm and cozy impression. Price: The price range per person varies from 8-15 Euros. Even though, you can find cheaper places nearby, the quality and authenticity of the dishes are really high and therefore totally worth it. Most of the dishes are homemade and prepared with care, which you can taste! It is one of my favourite spots for Vietnamese food in Mitte, not only because it has great noodle soups and yummy small dishes, but also because it tastes very much like home ! Tip: It is a great place for lunch, a casual dinner or just to grab something small of authentic Vietnamese food.

This is a well deserved 5/5! The food was really excellent. We had a great time. We ordered a salad (5€) that was very fresh and tasty. The pho noodle soup (9€) came in a beautiful bowl and was delicious. The lemongrass iced tea (4€50) was marvelous. The decoration is of good taste and the waiters are very nice. I highly recommend this address!

    Delicious! Must eat!

This is my favorite pho place in Berlin. The portion is not too big, but the broth is very legit! I really like the meat ball in pho~Other rice dishes also good, especially the ribs!

Had the regular pho. Food was decent, but portion was smaller than expected. Recommend to get an extra side with it.

It was the green umbrellas and seating outdoors that called to me. Unfortunately, like other outdoor dining areas in Europe, smoking is allowed. I just knew I would have to deal with that if I wanted to sit outside. I already saw a few people smoking. When you walk into the restaurant, the menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. It's a casual environment. As the name suggests, the food is vegetarian. Posted on the menu are stuffed baked potatoes, soups, salads, and juices. Bottled drinks in a refrigerator to the side. Tall table seating indoors. The salads are either small or large. I ordered a small quinoa salad and grabbed a bottled pomegranate tea from the refrigerator. While the gentleman rung me up at the register, someone else put my salad together. All fresh ingredients in a bowl. Glad I decided on a small because large is way too much food. A rabbit can only eat so much in one sitting. My drink was good and salad delicious. I used the restroom before I left, which is on the right hand side, through the side door. Had to mention it because the ladies room is a tiny stall for one. Cashless, so don't forget to bring your credit card.

But, that's truly enough, as what they prepare is all very-very good. The way this restaurant is designed is that you walk inside, decide what you want from their menu, and you order it at the counter. No cash. Only card. Then, it is prepared very quickly. I mean, they really do a great job of preparing each dish very fast. In terms of seating, for their interior they have a couple of long group tables and some two person tables along their wall. Me, that's where I like to sit. They also have a large amount of outdoor tables. Most of these table have umbrellas, so it is a great place to sit if you want to enjoy the air. The one problem I have with sitting at their outdoor tables is the same problem I have with virtually all of the restaurants in Berlin, they allow to people to smoke at these tables. One would think, at a vegetarian restaurant, they would not allow smoking. But, I have even witnessed staff members taking a break and going out there for a smoke. This is just something to keep in mind. Normally, I too prefer to sit outside, but I hate to have my eating experience diminished by someone smoking next to me. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. The food is very good. They staff are all very nice. And, you walk away feeling as if you have actually done something very good for your body.

The reviews were more than positive so I went and sat down and looked at the menu. That's when I noticed it was a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant. I was fixated on chicken pho and was about to leave, when I thought the best of it and decided to stay and try it out. I ordered the Mi Quang, a spicy soup with mushrooms and tofu, and lo and behold, if it wasn't one of the best soups I've ever tasted! I was so happy that I decided to be adventurous! I was a little less adventurous the rest of the week, as I ordered the same soup three additional times as I couldn't get enough of it! Run - don't walk - to get the Mi Quang!

The wanton soup had fried dumplings instead of boiled which surprised me. The taste was great, but the soup was so oily as a result. You can see the layer of oil circling in the soup. If that's the secret to great taste, then sign me up. For my entree, I had ca bung, an eggplant tofu dish with tumeric and plaintains. Never had anything like this before. Most of the vegetarian vietnamese restaurants in Houston focus on meat analogs so I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted good but the dish played havoc on the digestive system later with the gas. It could have been the oily soup instead but I blame the novel dish with the soybeans.
