The shop does a great job on almost every kind of service and, if it's something they don't do (like a transmission rebuild), they will help get you to someone who does. I also appreciate that they will comparison shop for parts to save me money. They are always friendly and accommodating and Chris, who manages the phones and the workflow, is a good guy and very professional and efficient. The work has always been excellent. Too expensive and I had to go back because it wasn't fixed properly. I also couldn't open my trunk and asked them to see what the problem was. They told me it would be $100 to open it! I decided to go back to my regular mechanic, Central Car Care on Dunlap, which was farther away because I moved. But they looked at it and it was just a piece of blanket stuck in the latch. Denver has been taking care of all 3 of my cars for the past 4 years. 2 mini coopers and my mustang. Both minis have received regular servicing and we haven't had any issues. One mini had to have the water pump changed out as well as some other hoses but Denver was honest about the repairs and let me know the job just gotten bigger and wanted to make sure I was informed with why more stuff is getting done. The other mini had what we thought was a bigger issue, all the oil spilled into a parking lot one random afternoon. I Had it towed to Denver's he investigated and let us know that that a connection came out and topped the mini with oil again. He then secured the problem so it didn't happen again and told us don't worry about it. Can't beat that. Freaking out thinking I was about to have an unexpected expense then Denver says yo it wasn't a big fix you're all set. Now the mustang. This cars a nightmare but Denver has brought it back to life several times. I took it in to get new ac hoses. He Had it fixed in a couple hours. Clutch burnt out on a road trip got the car to Denver had the clutch changed by the afternoon. Denver has also done more then servicing for me. He shaved my Mini Cooper body panels. Installed my suspension on my Mini Cooper for $350 when another shop up the road tried to charge more than double. And on the mustang he installed my air ride system. The clip that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder snapped in half while driving it on Indian School, leaving me to have to push it across the street and a couple blocks back to my residence. The very next weekend I was able to not only get a tow truck, but also contacted Denver to see a time frame and estimate to have the clutch master cylinder replaced (I attempted to replace the clip myself only to have part of the clutch master cylinder snap off and needing to be completely replaced) Not only was Denver able to get my car in *that* same day, but also, have the work done and completed only 3-4 hours later! The pricing was fair and I was ecstatic to be able to have my car back to get to work the next day. Especially considering it was during the weekend! I will be bring my car back to Denver for whatever else I may need in the future, not only was he personable, but also friendly and ethical. When he found a part he thought may have come from my car, he kept contacting me to have me come in so he can verify - which I super appreciated. I recently stopped into this location due to the amazing reviews....this was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I called Denver to inquire about an "oil change" on a Saturday afternoon, he was kind enough to fit me. Once I got there, thankfully there were no other customers at the shop in front of me. While waiting for someone to bring some oil from an auto store (he ran out of oil), he & I had some time to chat. I asked him if changing my AC filter would make the air colder, in which he responded it's all about the level of freon you have in your vehicle. He told me there was a system he had in house that would set it to the proper amount ($200+ Value). I politely declined his offer. After about hour or so of waiting inside for my vehicle to be completed, Denver came in to notify me that my vehicle was completed. He also informed me that he "reset my sensors" and changed out the freon level with the machine ($200+ Value), free of charge. Denver knew that I had a 20hr road trip in the upcoming days, so he told me to stop back in if any of the sensor lights came on. Tuesday night (3 days later) a light came on that said "low coolant level", so I stopped in first thing on Wednesday morning before I hit the road. I informed him about the sensor, he checked the coolant level, saying that he just changed it so it's just a sensor going off. The car should be fine on my 20hr journey across the desert. Due to his reviews, and background in automobiles, I trusted his judgment. The light continued to stay on, notifying me about the "coolant level" being low, but again I was told it was just a sensor. I decided to take a break about 14 hours into my drive...stopping at a rest stop to refresh my body. As I start to take off, about 5 miles after I leave the rest stop my vehicle prompts to say " engine overheating". I could not believe my eyes. From stress, fear, anger, I was in complete shock. With the time being 5a in the morning, 150 miles away from the nearest town, I had to sit and wait for hours. I called a tow truck company, which eventually showed up 3hours later. In the meantime as I waited, I reached out to Denver that afternoon to see what could have possibly gone wrong. When I first called in, the phone was answered by some gentleman named Joe. I explained the situation, and all this staff memeber could do was argue with me about it being an "electrical" issue with the car. To his knowledge, it's impossible for a car to overheat within 10 seconds of cranking it up, if it's not driving. I think this is what made me most upset. Asking me what I wanted him to do, since he knew every single detail. It's always that one bad apple that puts the company in the dirt. Joe is that apple. There's no need to yell at a paying customer who was just trying to get some answers. About an hour later Denver called to assist me. He was kind enough to take some time out on his off day, and try to walk me through some things. It's unfortunate that one bad judgment(not doing a proper evaluation when I brought it back in), caused so much damage to my vehicle. His words were, "I can't control what happens to your vehicle after you leave my shop". I completely respect and understand where he is coming from with this, but a simple oil change would not have caused this damage. I ended paying $800 for the tow company to ship the vehicle to my final destination. I also finally made it there, 10 hours later. Once the car finally got to Range Rover the following day. I was quoted in the area of $8,000 to repair everything. They said the oil and coolant was not properly mixed in when he changed it all out. Which resulted in a blown head gasket. Seems like the sensor was doing its job and telling me there was a problem. Overall I knew that Denver meant well with his nice gesture. However everything that's free, isn't always good for you. I'm not quite sure what was worst, the $8,800 tab for the repair and tow or having a conversation with the rude and incompetent staff member, named Joe. Proceed with caution. I brought my vehicle to Denver for a simple headlight/reverse lights/leaking power steering hose he price gouge me for 800 bucks didn't fix not one of the three things that I took it to him for but I paid the money up front and took another month from me to get the actual work done and is still leaking after two trips over there then the headlights still aren't right who has tim e to bring your vehicle and leave it three times? I'm not one to go out of my way to write a review but I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I used to live directly across the street from their location which is how I found them in the first place. Their exceptional service, fair prices, and honest, good people are what keep me coming back now that I'm no longer in the neighborhood. Just one example: I was quoted over $2200 from the Mazda dealership to make a replacement and repair on my sun damaged infotainment screen that ceased to work properly in my Mazda CX-5. Per the great guys at Denvers' recommendation, I found the screen part used on eBay for $250, and was charged $150 and some change for the repair. $400 vs $2200 for the same desired outcome. 7/9/2021 Hello, This all began when the motor in the driver door stopped working. We took the Bentley in and had the motor replaced with one from a Rolls Royce of the same year. When the car was returned the power door locks no longer worked. They took the car back in and fixed the door locks as well as installed a radio from a Rolls Royce. When the car was returned we noticed the radio was not installed properly. It also crackled when on stations. We took the car back I and asked that they repair the radio. They also told us the car needed a tune up which we had done. Shortly after that the car stalled in an intersection and refused to start. We took the car back in and they fixed it. A short time after that we were out for a week end drive and the wipers came on then white smoke from under the dash and the car stopped. It refused to start and We have never heard it run again. The car was towed back to the repair shop and after a week we were told the car needed a new motor. We were told that converting to a Chevrolet Motor would be a good idea as it would be more cost effective and dependable. We agreed and 5 months later were told that the Chevrolet motor would not fit and that they would rebuild the Bentley motor for the same price. We agreed and they supposedly rebuilt the motor. Then after a multitude of excuses we were told the car needed brakes which surprised us but we did as the Mechanic said and have been waiting 3 1/2 years to get our car back. During that time the work was subcontracted out and our Mechanic didn't pay the bill. We were told that he was in the process of paying the bill and we would have the car back in a few weeks. The Mechanic also send us a final receipt saying how bad he felt and that we didn't owe any further money. Since then it has been one excuse after another. And We think the 3 1/2 years is excessive. Could you please look into this and get us our car back. We have spent a small fortune on the car and still have nothing to show for it including the Bentley that we haven't seen for almost 4 years now. **RATING IS FOR SERVICE THROUGH THE PHONE* Today 6/12/19 I called in for 2 reasons, they have very good ratings & someone recommended me that they do replacement airbags and reprogramming.. Long story short Horrible service in serving people through the phone. I'm not sure who I spoke with I believe it was a guy with a name that started with a R . Me: "Hello this is Andy do you guys do installation for airbags & reprogram the computer for it?" Shop: "yes." Me: "okay should I stop by the shop for a estimate, since I'm around the corner ?" Shop: "No." Me: "Alright can you do a estimate through the phone?" Shop: "Sure, what do you want" So I told him I need him to install a side passenger curtain airbag and a seat airbag & reprogram the module on my 2015 Toyota. HE STARTS LAUGHING WHILE IM BEING SERIOUS Shop : "Did the airbags deploy?" Me: "Yes...." (why would I need to put new airbags on airbags that are not deployed?) Shop: " We can't do airbags it has to be done by the dealer." Don't be wasting anyone's time through a simple service through the phone. I called this shop to get an estimate on having my brakes replaced. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and answered all of my questions. He special ordered the parts right away so I could get my car in first thing the next morning. I told him I had an appointment at 11 AM so I need the car by 10 AM. He said that wouldn't be a problem and then quoted me a price for the brake replacement. I dropped the car off the next morning and the gentleman behind the counter was again very nice answered all of my questions and promised me that they would have the car out by 10 AM. Not only did they keep their promise on how quickly they would have the car done, they also charge me exactly the price they quoted on the phone. Imagine having an Owner/Mechanic that's a reliable family member you could count on anytime and only charge you for parts and a stunningly low amount for labor and you have Denver's. I've been going to Denver for well over ten years now and he's done probably 20 repairs for me on various makes and models - Muscle Cars, German Sports Cars.... His manager was the service boss at a BMW dealership. I always felt like mechanics were rip off artists until I came across Denver's. When you pay him it almost feels like he doesn't want the money if you can imagine that. I really hate letting the cat out of the bag like this, but once you go to Denver's, you'll never have another bad experience with car repairs, he always makes it right. Worst service ever! We went in a little over a month ago told them we were there bc we got into a small fender bender and the radiator is leaking! So they said they did a full inspection and said yup that is all so they replaced it when we had he money to do so! Two weeks later it cracks! So they replaced it with a supposed better radiator... two weeks later again it cracks AGAIN! Then we take it back in and they say after looking at it o there is another part that needs to be fixed that we missed before but we need you to pay for that part and a new radiator!!! Seriously? What the heck! It isn't our fault you missed that in the first place we gave you all the information and they were lazy and missed it and missed it again and then the third time they expect us to pay for their mistake?! I have nothing to say but wonderful things when it comes to this Mechanic. I have had a check engine light on for years. I have been told numerous things from different mechanics but no one could ever really fix the issue. The first experience I had was coming in and them giving a MODEST quote to help take care of my issue, and they did! I was warned though that there could be two possibilities that was causing the problem; They would start small and hoped that worked. In between I had some work done and they went above and beyond to take care of me at every appointment. They even took the time to go to auto zone and replace my battery (under warranty) that had been drained due to my alternator going out! I really cant put into words the care and patience they had with me. After a few months the light came back on. I took my vehicle in and was quoted around 900$. Of course I had a friend tell me that was "WAY TO HIGH" and he would call his mechanic. In short his mechanic confirmed that everything they had told me was accurate and correct. They were actually shocked at the price being so low for the work they would be performing. That in short reconfirmed everything I had experienced to this point. I use to feel overwhelmed and unsure before coming to Denvers. They have won my trust. I drive over 30 minutes to get here. Customer for life! read more

They spent the time to try to figure out an intermittent issue I was having, but didn't charge anything because they couldn't re-create it even though it cost them a lot of time. Much better than a shop that will just shotgun parts at a problem. 2 year/24,000 mile warranty on parts and labor! Usually same-day in-and-out. They fixed my transmission issue in a timely matter at a great price. I also had a loud rattling noise going on for a while. The rattle was due to a broken engine frame that two separate repair shops had quoted me for $950+ to fix. I called about a month and half ago and I talked with a guy who stated he would call me back about finding a solution, which he never did. Our headlight didn't work or the back up light, power steering hose never stopped leaking. In fact you did nothing for my husband truck. Nothing was fixed. You're a ripoff, and you should be ashamed of yourself especially during the pandemic. My husband and I work hard for our money, so when we take are truck to get fixed we expect it to run well. Nothing was fixed but you sure expected to get paid....AND you got paid with no hesitation. Credit card wasn't declined so why would you even collect money from us when nothing was fixed. Don't worry a real mechanic fixed the problem. Yeah we paid more money too, but we learned our lesson. By the way you put the wrong hose it was supposed to be a pre formed hose so the one you put in kinked and cut off the supply of power steering fluid basic stuff that you should know. NOTHING BUT A FULL REFUND would be satisfactory and the turn signal that he put in that wasn't the problem, but I still paid for it. It doesn't even turn off when I make a turn now. It's pretty disgusting that people like you even run a business and get away with what you did to us. I'm sure all your bills are paid from taking money from people like us. We trusted you with our truck. Don't bother calling now. Nothing about your business is good. I will be calling BBB. Thanks for nothing. You're a joke for being a mechanic. Another shop had done an oil change and prescribed over $3,000 worth of work on a youngish car with only 30,000 miles -- enough to have anyone freaking out. So, from next door reviews,​ I went to Denver's shop and spoke to both Robb and Denver who said nothing on that list was remotely warranted -- some aspects wouldn't even show up for another 10 years. WOW! Everything is fine except for the drain plug gasket missing from the oil change​ at the other​ place. They fixed that for free probably knowing how deflated I was by the stress of it all.
