Took my car here and immediately after started experiencing a strange noise coming out of my car. Tried to drive home and it stopped midway. Waited 1.5 hours for oil change, then they did not put the skid plate on my truck correctly. Thought they corrected it, but my neighbor told me a few weeks later that my skid plate was hanging. Returned to the same location spoke to Noah who said go back to the location that did this when I told him it was this location with him he said why did it take you so long to come back? ‍ He also asked go to auto zone buy the bolts and bring them back. Apparently it is the customers responsibility to take care of anything this place damages. The attendant did not screw my coolant cap back on all the way. Which made all sorts of fluid leak out the next time i drove the car. Had no clue what fluid was leaking from my car... come to find out after towing it to the mechanic and them check hoses and running full diagnostics on the car to find nothing wrong... drive home again the following day same thing happens. But hear a gurgling. The moron attendant didn't tighten my cap down enough and pressurize the system. Almost blew my engine. I can't wait to talk to corporate about this nonsense. They were paying no attention to my car but paying all attention to the police activity across the street. He pulled fluid out of it and asked if i had gotten a coolant flush with them because it looked like the same they used. Main reason i know they opened the cap.... Take 5 is the perfect place to get an oil change if you're in a hurry. Like the name, it only takes about 5 minutes. They offer other basic services like coolant top off, changing air filters, etc. I feel the price is reasonable and staff has always been friendly. First and last time using take 5. My original review was five stars but now I have to change that. I noticed that my car was leaking oil, but I do not have the means of getting underneath it to inspect, I decided to stop at the take 5 on Dysart rd because I work all across the valley and going back to the original place was not time efficient. I was told that they could not inspect to make sure that my oil plug and oil filter were screwed on tightly because it would make them liable however they would take a look. The technician told me that the plug and the filter were tight and that I should go to a service shop and have that oil leak inspected. So after moving my work schedule around, that's exactly what I did and come to find out my oil plug was not tightened the way that it should have been. Not only did this cost me time and energy. It was also a very avoidable headache that would not have happened if you had done your job the right way the first time. Not only did the Indian school location not tighten everything down properly, but the other Location basically lied to my face about it. So after paying a service shop fee to tighten down a bolt that should have been tightened with my oil change I will never go back to take 5. Somethings are too good to be true, I guess that's what my previous five star experience was. read more

I went to the Cave Creek and cactus location and a young gentleman and lady helped me and they were so nice the young gentleman he offered to help me change my filters if I bought them things like that, but my one concern is there are no fans for these workers in the building being outside workers. It was very hot. I was hot and they were sweating. should be fans going for those employees as as it is here in Arizona without question they need to take care of that and get them running. read more

Negative experience at Take 5 located in Pebble Creek Pkwy in Goodyear. After an oil change service, the mechanic or service guy left the oil plug completely loose and I lost all the oil that same day. I understand that things happen, however, my real complaint is that the manager assured that I would get reimbursed within 48 hours, and after 2 weeks, I have not received my money back or any type of communication from this company. read more

This oil change place advertises it will "top off your fluids". Apparently transmission FLUID, power steering FLUID, and brake FLUID is not included. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I had the oil changed here a few months ago, and noticed that I'm due for a new change now. I went in and was told I didn't need an oil change, but only a top-off! They handed me a bottle of water while I waited (this is Phoenix, Arizona, so THANK YOU!!), topped off the oil, added water to the wiper canister and I was off! Review is for this location only not the company in whole Took a little over 2 hours for not many cars they took about 25-30 min per car and when it was my turn i could see why. 3 people working on 1 car at a time upselling everything they could, once it was my turn they told me I had the same problem the older lady next to me had and highly suggested I fixed it then and there. After repeatedly declining i was offered a discount still declined and they did not look happy. While my car was being serviced they attempted to upsell me at least 5 times on the same product. They hire anybody off the street, very rude service. No actual mechanics, workers lack car knowledg.

When this location first opened, they took over the Mobile oil change. Mobile was top notch so how different could it be? They were awesome on the first try! How could I not return? Well, I did for my older car and there was a line of 3 cars before me. No biggie. It's like 10 minutes max since I've done it before, right? And there are FOUR people working. What can go wrong? An hour later, the guy in front of me finally goes in the bay. 15 minutes after THAT, I notice all four are working on the car next to him. I'm in a rush since I have to pick up my kid at school and ask the attendant "are you only working on one car at a time?" He said "yes. It's a first come, first serve". Meaning they're alternating between service. that means it's 3:35pm and they still have to service the guy in front of me and then the guy in the next bay before I get my turn. It's about 20-25 minutes between cars at this point. That's a max 1 hour 15 minutes before I'm out. I entered the line at 2:40pm. I would've been there till 4:50pm. ...for an oil change. The way I put my car in reverse and got outta there!!! catch them when you're first or second (when working on both bays) in line and you'll have a fighting chance. read more

more expensive than all the other quick lube places and all they did was change the oil. jiffy lube does the oil change, checks and tops off all the other fluids, greases the chassis, cleans my windows, checks/adjusts tire pressure, etc...for $20 less. The worst customer service! Was quoted about 30 minutes when the manager came out. Two cars were in front of me. I wait patiently and then right as I'm about to get my oil change the tell me to back up. From what I saw, their lack of knowledge damaged a car in the other bay and they wanted me to move back so the person in the other lane could take my spot. I declined and they treated to call the police on me. Just because they are incompetent, I should be penalized?? In hindsight, maybe it's for the best? At least I know my car won't be damaged. I have a brand new one year-old car and took it to take five for my first oil change huge mistake. They did not put my splash guard back on properly and now I have a dented damaged guard, and cannot drive my car getting it towed first thing in the morning. Took it back to them they could care less we're not helpful. Said there's nothing that they could do because I couldn't get my car over the bay. first with them is paying for a cabin air filter that was never put in my car. This place is full of negligence. These technicians have no clue what they're doing and they do not care one bit. I will never return I would never recommend this place to anyone. Basic oil change and replacement filter should be no problem, right? I got mine done recently with Take five off Bell roads new location. A day later I noticed my car having issues right before all major bills were due and I was hurt as I'm also a ridershare driver. I called my trusted mechanic business (Anyplace Auto) and they couldn't see me until the end of the week (so I couldn't work). It only took him a few minutes before deducting it was probably the air filter ...brand newly installed air filter from Take five. I purchased a new air filter from the dealership and had my certified professional install it. Car runs like it's brand new. I take my barely used filter back to take five and the manager tells me there's nothing they can do since someone else touched their work. What a joke! Let me say basic services are not basic when they cost you over $1000 in late fees, lack of working, and car repair fees. I ask, if you can screw up something so basic, what else are you liable to damage and take no responsibility? I will also say I'm a ridershare Driver with over 10,000 rides under my belt and a 4.99 out of 5 rating. I belong to several rideshare groups around the nation. I'll be a driver on top of my profession for a while, which gives me plenty of time to share my experiences with my passengers and my groups. Below is a picture of the cheap air filter that was shoved into my car incorrectly, bending it and causing my sensors to go off and almost ruined my car. BEWARE They will do bad work and try to cover it up. I went here for two back-to-back oil changes. When I went for the second oil change they asked, "Who did your last oil change!?" in an alarmed tone and when I responded, "You." they immediately changed the subject. I tried to ask why they asked that question (obviously something was up for them to have asked that question) and they gave me a non-answer. During the 2nd oil change they brought out this big machine (oil extractor) to suck the oil out that they did NOT use on my first oil change here because they couldn't drain the oil from the oil pan because on my first visit they had overtightened and stripped out the drain plug! (They of course did not inform me of this, I had to learn this from a company with actual integrity). Their shoddy work and then LYING about it and trying to cover it up after I said my last oil change was done by them and not wanting to own up or even tell me the extent of the issue led to a huge oil leak that corroded wires in my engine and fried my car's PCM and led to my car DYING.
