The dealership told me that Jiffy lube , whatever the oil change places loosen up the bolt on my engine and it was making noises after I come back to Jeff to tell them the problem and completely ignore everything they don't wanna take accountability. The biggest surprise was when I mentioned I had been struggling to reconnect my phone to my car's Bluetooth. The manager came out, took a look, and had it connected in less than two minutes! That level of customer service went far beyond what I expected during a routine oil change. Of course, they did not admit any wrongdoing and refunded me on the premise of "customer satisfaction" (which for legal reasons, I understand). All nice people but their poor vehicle inspection cost me thousands in repairs that were completely missed (so I overpaid for the car I bought). Their arguments were the seller may have cleaned-up the vehicle before the inspection to hide issues and that over 1,000 miles were driven between their inspection and the subsequent car inspection/repairs that occurred 2 months later. The allegation of seller clean-up is possible but not a proven fact in this case; it certainly wasn't pointed out during the inspection. The mileage argument is fair but collectively, neither of these assertions, even IF all true, is not a complete answer. Issues with the vehicle that take years to build up should have been pointed out during the inspection and were completely overlooked; including a bad steering gear box, cracked bushings, cracked right and left lower control arms, loose sway bar worn beyond repair, blown out front shocks, severely unevenly worn tires, which all cost over $5K to replace. I feel those were pretty obvious issues that a qualified auto technician would have easily caught and noted on the inspection report. Based on my experience, my suggestion for people interested in getting a vehicle inspection is you may be better off paying twice the price somewhere else and avoid Half Price Auto. Check the BBB.

I sat and looked at my phnoe for a little bit until the battery almost died (it was alrfeady low when I got there). They had charging cords on the coffee table with adapters for every phone. I plugged my phone in and sat it on the table and got comfortable for a longer wait, but moments later, true to the 1.5 hour estimate, they said my truck was ready. They advised me of some sort of leak on the front axle, but told me to check with the dealership because it might be under warranty. I appreciate that. I'll definitely be back for future service.

I started with them rebuilding my motor and just kept going from there. I did stop going here because of distance and I think if I was closer I would continue to take it to them for small jobs. To be fully transparent, I'm very specific about a lot of things when it comes to my vehicles so there were things that I noticed that weren't right, a couple things still exist to this day that were caused by the shop. However, every time I told Miguel about these issues he immediately did his best to help fix them. And they did fix most of the issues I had. This is not a bad shop at all.
