We went during the busy time, but we was able to grab a spot inside. I really wanted to try the caramel apple pancakes and the Monte Cristo so my date said we should get both. The Monte Cristo was really good, they make it with their French toast and a lot of powdered sugar. I couldn't eat the whole thing so we took it home for later. The caramel apple pancakes were the star of the show! We ordered them as a side dish and would definitely do that again to share. They were so sweet and so flavorful! I'm still thinking about them to this day. I'll definitely go back and order those pancakes again and maybe get a side of hashbrowns or bacon to go with it. The staff was so sweet always checking on us and making sure everything was up to par.

One recent ordering experience was comically bad due to not knowing how to enter the chips-and-a-drink special into the register. They were nice and trying hard but just not getting there. I think we ended up paying full price just to keep moving. It's not our first choice for lunch but it's in the rotation if we're in the mood for dealing with a potentially clunky ordering experience. Might try ordering for pickup using the app next time to eliminate variables.

My husband really likes the Vladdy Sr. (French dip, with the best au jus I've ever tasted!) and The Koufax (hot pastrami on rye). The sandwiches are HUGE! A few times I've ordered a half sandwich and been completely satisfied. I have also really liked the soups I've had. We are a baseball family, so I love that all the names are baseball references. The k my one I think they missed was the Pick Two (half sandwich and cup of soup or salad), I think they should call it The Double Play! Service has been outstanding every time we've been in. They all have been incredibly kind and have gone out of their way to make sure we were pleased with our food. We have always had our food as takeout, but they do have tables you can eat at in the restaurant. All this to say, Home Team Deli is a home run in our book!

If your brand is not designed around moving fast maybe consider taking a page from Whataburger where they have signs everywhere telling the customer they don't move fast; you will have to wait. Again, food is good. I just don't think it's reasonable to wait 30 minutes for a 5" hot sandwich.

From the second I walked in, I was greeted with big smiles and a friendly "Welcome in!" The staff here are genuinely nice and make you feel at home. Of course, I had to get my go-to: The Bronx Bomber: pastrami, egg salad, spicy mustard, Cajun sauce(my add on always) on both sides, pumpernickel bread, lettuce, tomato, and thin-sliced red onion. Absolute perfection. This sandwich always slaps. My coworkers saw it and immediately asked, "Where did you get that?" Told them straight up -- Mainstreet Parker, Heidi's got another location. Then after wasting all that time, it still took forever just to get a refund, and the CHILD working at the pickup window where I requested a refund had the nerve to get rude and attitude-filled when I asked for a receipt. Here's a thought: if your kitchen is drowning and can't keep up, STOP TAKING ORDERS. People who ordered online at 7:00 and 8:00 AM were STILL standing there at 9:30 waiting for food. That's beyond ridiculous -- that's straight incompetence. The staff acted careless, unapologetic, and completely unbothered while customers stood around angry and hungry. Nobody communicated, nobody cared, and the entire place felt chaotic and poorly managed. I've honestly seen better organization at a middle school fundraiser.
