Today our family decided to try this new Denver Biscuit Company location for a birthday celebration. We checked in on the app at 10:45. The app informed us we'd wait 15-25 minutes for a table, upon arrival. No problem. All 5 members of our party arrived at the DBC at 11:00. It's now 12:30 and we've not been seated. While waiting inside (it's a brisk 45 degrees outside this morning)- and standing tucked in an out-of-the-way corner near the door, the restaurant manager invited us crudely to wait outside. We mentioned that we had been outside and it became cold. To this he replied, "then wait in your car!" It's now 12:38. We have a table (success) but DBC is out of cinnamon rolls- the one delicious THING the birthday boy was most looking forward to (fail)! Thus far our DBC experience is an epic fail!! It can only improve from here. Stay tuned... DBC's Co2 broke- no Diet Coke for Mamma. They're also out of the Space Camp IPA the Birthday Boy desired. All of this unfortunate tomfoolery was almost rectified by the deliciousness of the strawberry rhubarb jam and the surprise spicy (house made) pickle we discovered in our Bloody Mary. Almost. Our server was friendly and fun and the food came fast. read more

The food is amazing here!! I wish it was closer! The biscuits just melted in your mouth and were so big. I couldn't even finish my sandwich. I will definitely be back! Great brunch spot! read more

KILLER place. Long wait but worth it. Very good service and everything tasted fresh! Try it if you're in the area. It's connected to a pizzeria as well. read more

The food is really good but the staff was super rude to me. The environment is not great. After getting checked in (and being on the waitlist for 40 mins - when I joined it said 30-45 mins) the host told me it would be about another 30 mins and to feel free to grab some coffee/drinks at the bar. We saw a single stool opened and ordered myself, husband and 2 year old drinks (I'm 39 weeks pregnant)) we paid & tipped and then was told we had to move even though there was no one waiting to sit in that single seat and we 100% would have moved when/if they needed it. We moved anyways to the chair at the front of the restaurant- mind you all having drinks now with the 2 yr old - a couple minutes later rudely told we had to wait outside. I understand the fire hazard rules but I feel like exceptions and/or accommodations could be made and at least not be super rude or suggest to a family with a toddler and VERY pregnant person to go get drinks and push them outside in February. I was so disappointed because I had been wanting DBC so bad and was excited to try out the new location. Probably won't go back or to any other location again :( read more

Although the food is excellent the host staff was quite surly and gruff with our party. We put our name in the list for seating with a quote of 45-50 minutes. We ended up waiting for nearly 2 HOURS with barely an acknowledgement. Would recommend for the food definitely, but maybe come on a slower morning or off hours. read more

The staff is so friendly and kind - the kindest I've met in the highlands ranch area. The food is very delicious and the portion sizes are large. The food is a bit pricey, especially considering it doesn't come with a side or drink, but it is still worth it. Definitely will be returning. read more

Food was ok, drenched in syrup. Biscuits replace traditional pancakes, combinations on menu sounded more interesting than the actual meal. Perhaps not for me? read more

Best meal we've had in a long time! Of course, be prepared for a decent wait on the weekend, but it's worth it! I had the Winona and my husband the biscuits and gravy. Both were delicious and came out insanely fast. Our server was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Ordered to go and probably won't ever do that again because not only was it over priced we got a half basket of waffle fries only for them to be cold and hard as soon as we picked them out of the bag. ordered the "Nashville hot" chicken didn't receive that and yes service was quick but at what cost when the food isn't made how we ordered it & side was cold and hard... usually really like this place but not this experience.. :( read more

Arrived at 1:30pm for late lunch. We were at a table by the host person and we ended up walking out of the restaurant because no one came to see us or take our orders. We were told "thank you for coming" at which point we let that individual know no one had even seen us. The response by the wait staff was to accuse us of seating ourselves and that is why we didn't get service. Unfortunately for that person we were seated by someone at the restaurant and there were 3-4 other people working and taking care of tables. We were never given the time of day and ultimately were blamed for their crappy service. Gotta love customer service in 2023!!! We won't be going back and hopefully we can help others avoid crappy service at this place too. read more

Came for breakfast on a Friday. Food was great, service started out great, then they got busy and we never saw our server again. I understand they're a new place still getting adjusted. Just don't sit on the patio if you're going for a quick meal read more

Walked in for a late breakfast on a Friday morning and got seated right away at a table for a with my boyfriend. Our waitress was super sweet and came up right away with waters. My boyfriend has been told countless times about this place so I know we had to try it before we moved. Just a heads up 99% of the food in the menu is biscuit sándwichs and they are huge. If your looking for other normal breakfast food they are slightly lacking but then again the name of the place is the biscuit company. I got the Lola which is a super sweet biscuit sandwhich with fried chicken that is completely soaked in syrup. I was envisioning the honey butter chicken biscuit from whatabuger and this was slightly similar but on a much more massive level. I could only eat half of it and I couldn't do anymore sweet and then my boyfriend got the Winona and he loved it. Only recommendation would be to get it Nashville hot so that the sandwhich isn't super dry. We also got a side of the fries which honestly are better than Chick-fil-A and I was in heaven. Overall the restaurant was filled with people but wasn't super noisy as is the normal with some places, would I come back.....yes. Would I definitely switch up my order next time......yes. But overall a solid breakfast joint read more

The food here is unreal. Biscuits obviously were awesome but the gravy was by far the best I have ever had. So much flavor, not like basic country gravy. AMAZING!!! It's a cute little place and it's probably a local chain but doesn't feel like one. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be back next time we're in the area. read more

Don't be led astray, go with your gut and get the chicken pot pie biscuit and experience Joy again. Joy like when you were little and got two grape otter pops kind of joy. read more

The food here is delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We had breakfast here the other week with some family in from out of town. We had two kids with us and the atmosphere was kid friendly for breakfast. My only complaint, two of us had previously lived in Nashville, so we ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit sandwich (The Beeler). What came was a fried chicken biscuit sandwich that was missing any and all heat. Don't call this a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. We were perplexed and upset seeing that it had the spice level of a KFC original recipe breast and had to ask for some hot sauce which was just buffalo sauce, not Nashville Hot Chicken spice. Please either change the recipe, or take "Nashville Hot" out of the description, how about "Southern Fried Chicken in a Biscuit", that would be a more accurate description. read more

We used to be loyal customers of Denver Biscuit Company and no one was more a fan of the place than our dog. However, the human customers were upset as when we went today to pick up a to go order, the food was ready more than 20 minutes after they told us to arrive. The dog customer was upset because we were told that their new manager ordered that the restaurant stop making and providing dog biscuits to their furry guests - they used to make the scraps into dog sized treats and they were our dog's favorite. For a restaurant that is ranked on many dog friendly lists in the Denver area very unclear why this was stopped. read more

Best meal I had in Denver by far! Amazing service and drinks too. So happy I found this place.

To start, there was excellent service! Felt very welcoming. Now to the food! The cinnamon roll was very delicious! Not too sweet, had an apple tint to it, yet the bottom of it was a little tuff. The texture was great but the bottom of it was a surprise... and not the good kind. The flavors were amazing and the most of it was a nice texture! Next, the Tomahawk was a very interesting combination. I'd say it was odd and... passable. The sausage wasn't the best and neither was the egg, the quality just wasn't there in it (one of those fake, scrambled, non-fresh eggs). But the biscuit was to die for!! The jam wasn't my cup of tea but I'm sure lots would like it. Finally, the fried chicken!!! Absolutely wonderful. Was very flavorful and just left you wanting more and more! Crispy, tangy, and brought back memories of growing up in the south (grandmas fried chicken)! Would 100% recommend. I think it would go beautifully on the side with a plate of biscuits and gravy. read more

See all

Literally gross. Maybe I ordered the wrong things but there shouldn't be any "wrong items" to order on the menu. I got the strawberry shortcake and the amount of whipped cream and strawberry compote that filled the bowl was comical. Like I could barely see the biscuit. The compote was disgusting, sour and nasty. The biscuit was dry and dense. My grandma accompanied me and got the French toast biscuits. The bottom of the biscuits were completely charred, making it near impossible to cut off a piece to eat. When she finally did chisel out a bite, it was the same horrible review. Dry and dense. I couldn't believe it, and neither could my grandma. How does this place get so much foot traffic? It's literally nasty. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is bc the service was good. The people were super nice and accommodating. read more

The wait is HORRIBLE, the Hostesses look confused and lost, Do not go during weekends, worst time, the waitress was great and the Food is Amazing, but the wait was Really bad, they should work on seating people... read more

The food is great, but the prices are over the top. Don't feel a small jelly container should cost $0.99 and butter should cost $0.25. Don't think a person should have to get their own coffee, even with a chipped cup, when paying these prices. The place is so noisy, one can't hear the person sitting next to you. Probably won't go back. read more

Ordered 1 plain biscuit & 1 strawberry shortcake ONLINE at ~1100 on a Tuesday morning. I sat there waiting for 20 MINUTES in their parking lot until I could drive through their "Pickup Lane" to get my order. The entire unpleasant experience resulted in me not enjoying the food. I do not recommend ordering online from this place. read more

Great biscuit sandwiches and never a long wait after the waitlist time. Unlimited coffee bar is fun and has nondairy milk

Absolute butt wholes of customer service, POV when it comes to bar service, staff is extremely under experienced when it comes to a full house. Food was mid and coffee was worse, in fact I would say cosmos pizza is cheaper and of higher quality. Inconsiderate waiter rushed us out of the restaurant due to they had other walk in customers of higher priority. (Our visit only lasted 25 minutes half of the time spend waiting for our food) Go somewhere else, in fact go to cosmos pizza! read more

No espresso drinks, bummer in a breakfast place not to have that choice. Biscuit was good but room temperature. Bacon spicy, not to my liking and DRY. Maple syrup was cold. Not a delicious breakfast, quite the opposite read more

Always a favorite of ours. Food is unique and great in every way. Servers are not always the best and are the weakest link here. Food truck is awesome. read more

Denver Biscuit Company is amazing! The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the menu is fantastic! I completely loved my fried chicken biscuit sandwich with bacon and maple syrup. Will definitely come back! read more

Was looking forward to trying this place, put my name on the waitlist and then drove down to find that the waitlist online is just a total scam and doesn't even get you on a real waitlist. 1/5 read more

I've been frequenting several locations of this great restaurant. I was a the new location in Lone Tree recently and I was unimpressed with the service. The server appeared to have no interest in me as it appeared that he wanted to go back behind the bar to chat with the employee who was sitting at the bar. My Pizza was cold and dried out. If I hadn't had a successful visit to your other locations I definitely wouldn't return or recommend this location. With many other choices at this end of town it makes an easy to ignore DBC/FS read more

Phenomenal customer service! The waiter brought our kiddos' food within five minutes, constantly checked on us, and as extremely helpful and friendly! Love the incredible food and the overall experience was just amazing! We have a special needs son so we don't get to eat out often; the staff/food/experience was wonderful for our son and us! We highly recommend this place and will be returning! So grateful for a place where our son can enjoy himself and be celebrated as well!!! read more

Get the smothered fries for your cheat day! You can thank me later! Love this place!

The denver biscuit company served up some really good food and I was apart of the clean plate club. It was a quiet night there as well. Usually there is a dip in service on slow nights. Not at the Denver biscuit company. Hats off to the servers and staff. They kept the drinks full on a really hot day read more

I have eaten at other DBC locations and love them - so I was excited when this one opened closer to home. Unfortunately I never got to eat at this location due to a WAY off wait estimate. When we checked in the hostess told us the wait would be 30-45 min - so we waited for 45 minutes and then went back to see where we were in the queue and were told we were still 16 deep in the wait! So we left figuring it would be another 30-45 minutes for a table. Had we been told when we checked in the wait was an hour + ,we would have decided to eat elsewhere- which is fine. I just hated wasting 45 minutes waiting in their parking lot for a wait time that was actually closer to 1.5 hours. read more

being from the midwest, the people were not very welcoming. the service was slow. the bartender took our order, as we were seated at a table but he rushed off to take more orders before i could place my drink order. not a good beginning to a birthday celebration. read more

Great food. Quick seating at the bar. Staff was friendly. I had the biscuit with sausage, sort of a Pancake meal and my wife had a biscuit with gravy, both excellent choices. Morning cocktails were a nice touch too! read more

The wait staff is always friendly but tonight we had exceptional service by Donnielle!! Thank you and we will be back :) read more

It was ok. Gravy was so so. Mushroom gravy tasted like soup out of a can. I wouldn't go back. But it was busy so must have some appeal.

We had a great breakfast, service was prompt and friendly and the food was very good and tasty! Nice to have open parking vs the other location. read more

This doesn't look great , it's located in an old strip center on county line. The food is good. We had 2 biscuit breakfasts and the get it yourself coffee for less than $50. read more

I was so excited to have this added to my neighborhood. Visited last week and had amazing service! The cinnamon roll was amazing but as much as I wanted to love the biscuits and gravy, which I got the mushroom and the sausage, it was just meh. My guess is that it was under seasoned, but not sure. It was just a bit lack luster. We ordered biscuits to go today and the process was really easy, but again, the food was just meh. I am really hoping that it is just because they are new and need to find their footing. read more
