I my opinion, the best of all of the DBC restaurant locations. On Broadway, adjacent to a residential area is this gem. Unpretentious, un-fancy just well done food with great service. Every time I go I promise myself that I will be back sooner. The biscuits are amazing and served warm with all kinds of dipping goodness from honey butter to strawberry-rhubarb jam to sausage gravy. The parking can be a bit scarce if not there on a Sunday. They have a small lot but in my experience they always have it blocked off with cones. Street parking is limited to Residential Pass so best to go on Sundays if you can. read more

I had been hearing about the famous Denver biscuit house since I moved here a year and a half ago and finally, I got to try it. There was plenty of street parking and once inside, We had no problem getting a table. the service was great, very quick and friendly staff. I tried the tomahawk, a sweet biscuit with the strawberry jam, egg, and meat, and my date had the Franklin. - savory one with the gravy and bacon. They were both different but pretty good, the biscuits were a blend of flaky and doughy. The meal was very rich and heavy though. This place was recommended to us by so many and I'm so glad we went! It's the perfect place to grab breakfast. Service was wonderful and we loved that they had a self serve coffee station with unique mugs. Unsurprisingly our favorite part of the meal was the biscuits and their homemade butter and jams. I have avoided this place as I am not a huge carb fan, but my daughter wanted to take me for brunch and suggested this. It was really good. The Bartender just rolled their eyes at my girlfriend and walked away when we asked for a table, found a filthy table and just cleaned it so we could sit down and order. The waitress was very nice and helpful unlike the bartender. My girlfriend enjoyed her burger however my biscuit came with an overcooked nearly burned piece of chicken and thick nearly raw and definitely inedible slices of bacon... To top it all the coffee was absolutely terrible even worse than Denny's which i never thought was even possible. I truly have no words... but how can something as basic as biscuits and gravy be the best thing I've ever had in my entire life? We placed our order and things came out pretty quickly. It is a pour your own cup of Joe type of establishment, and they have a bar full of options for your coffee. Two people in the group got this and were disappointed that it was lukewarm. I got the Franklin which is a fried chicken and bacon sandwich on a biscuit covered in gravy. The chicken was well cooked and the bacon was a bit over done. The gravy was meaty and good. I had a bite of the burger which was pretty good as well. This was my first time at the South Broadway DBC, and it did not disappoint. Since I had friends in town naturally this was high on their list of brunch options. We have a table of five which was perfect in their booths. If you're not aware, it is a restaurant where they won't seat you until your whole party has arrived even if you are on the waitlist. We didn't wait long at all though since we were all relatively on time. A ton of people showed up right after us though so it got really busy around 10 AM. I always mention to people that my favorite thing is picking my coffee mug while I wait. I found this adorable elephant this time. I liked that it was so funky. This is such a fun element at DBC since it sparks conversations from the start in a group. Our server was phenomenal. He gave us amazing suggestions and was so personable. He suggested sangria, and it did not disappoint. It was like a delicious morning spritz. He also suggested we get the cinnamon roll with crumbled bacon. I don't know why I've never gotten out with bacon before, but I'm a convert now. When my friend asked what would make her "taste buds dance" he suggested the Franklin with Half mushroom gravy and Half sausage gravy, which ended up being the common choice around the table. I've been to DBC so many times, but haven't tried so many of the things the server recommended, so kudos to him.
