I've been to New Orleans before and let me tell you this food was way better! Everything was delicious from the food to the Bloody Mary. The service was great! We sat outside and the place was so cute it had a great ambience. Will definitely return if I'm every in Colorado again

Came here with a party of 3 on Sunday around 11:30am and it was packed!! There were large parties waiting outside so I was weary there would be a long wait. We opted for sitting at the bar so we didn't actually have to wait too long, maybe 10 minutes max? Others with larger parties had to wait 25+ minutes though. I ordered the Red Beans and Rice which came topped with andouille sausage and pulled pork. It came with their Buttermilk Biscuits, and because I like savory biscuits I ordered a side of Gravy to go with it. At the end of the meal I had Beignets for dessert. This was a LOT of food for one person, but it was SOOOO good!! The Buttermilk Biscuit came out first and it was a huge, literally bigger than my fist. They have homemade jams to go with the Biscuits and even ketchup in-house that they offer at the tables. The Red Beans and Rice was probably the best that I've ever had outside of NOLA! The portion for this (and all dishes ordered) was pretty big as well but I was determined to finish it all before catching a ride to the airport. The Beignets were served with a generous blizzard of powdered sugar and came out freshly fried. All in all wonderful experience eating here, they definitely serve southern comfort at Lucille's.

Sooooo good! Being from the south I came ready to judge lol I was pleased with the dishes and the price. Our server had a section by herself and still managed to give us the best service! Food came out super fast as well. Everyone was so nice. I tried a few things and enjoyed them all. 1) pancake: was buttery and sweet. Their house syrup was the perfect pairing! 2) French toast: omg drool worthy. And the sausage was the best part. They said it was spicy but it was more so just seasoned to me. 3) beignets they were tasty and thick. Not as crispy on the edges as I'd like but they were good. 4) baileys Irish coffee. Straight liquor lol 5 shrimp po boy 6) buttermilk biscuit: had to be cooked in a cast iron with real butter because it's crispy at the top and so soft and fluffy at the middle and bottom. Add honey and it's amazing! The music was lively, they played New Orleans band music

The outdoor seating provides the perfect opportunity to get some sunshine while enjoying a weekend brunch. The chicory coffee tastes the exact same as regular coffee, but pairs nicely with the beignets. Portions were large and provided nice variety to the usually flavors you expect to find in Denver.

It's been over 4 years since I visited Lucille's near my home. During my morning walk, I saw their fire pit operating and went inside. Their menu has several New Orleans favorites and typical Creole dishes. I started with a Chicory coffee brewed strong. I wanted a healthier breakfast, so I got Lucy's Oatmeal. It was a large bowl with probably 3 servings of oatmeal with a sliced banana, & apple + brown sugar. I added a link of hot Louisiana sausage and a biscuit. The biscuit was very large. They had wrapped butter pats on the table with a jar of orange marmalade. Jersey was my server, but several other servers provided coffee refills and brought out my order. Nice relaxing environment. When I got the bill, I saw an odd "Send charge" of $ 0.25; I asked the servers, but got incomplete answers. A manager came over and said it was increasing expenses. The amount was only 1.25% of the food amount so it's not a card surcharge. Usually restaurants will add a service charge or wage fee, not a vague poorly worded add-on. She volunteered to remove the charge and give me a new bill. I tipped 20% or $4.

The food was so good I had to leave my review mid bite! Great service great food. A little wait on the weekends. Well worth the wait! Very satisfying we will be back most definitely. Everything is home made and it's amazing!

The beignets are the thing. They are delicious and filling. Not too greasy or too sweet. My only quibble is the amount of powdered sugar they use. Makes for a terrific presentation, but sure is messy to eat. Shakes your off a bit or be prepared to look like you were in a snowball fight. The other thing they have going is a delicious Benedict. I had the traditional and my friend tried the New Orleans style. Neither of us had see it before with eggplant in place of the muffin and a Creole style marinara in place of the hollandaise. Both were really good. You get to choose your side, but we both went for grits with jalapeno cheese. Yum! Just the right consistency and portion. We sat inside, but really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit while we waited for our Lyft. Great staff too. The host asked us if we parked in front. It was street cleaning day and he wanted to be sure we didn't get a ticket. Recommend.

Came here for brunch last Sunday and let me just say, it's been a min since I've found a stellar restaurant! Service top notch! I unfortunately didn't get my servers name but he took such good care of my table! Ambiance for a packed place it was so easy to get a table with indoor and outdoor seating, great for families. It was my first time trying creole food and it did not disappoint! I had the eggs jennifer and of corse the beignet. They tasted really good and the potatoes, they were out of this world! Everything is homemade, even the ketchup!

Have been here a handful of times and it's consistently good! Portions are really big, so I love sharing and trying a bit of everything. The biscuits and gravy are my favorite and they're so satisfying and crumbly! I typically get the eggs Benedict and it always hits. I've had the same waitress, michelle, every time I've eaten there and she's so knowledgeable and friendly!! Really cute place!

It's Mardi Gras season so I've definitely been craving some Cajun food. The beignets always hit the spot and this time I got the creole omelette which was the first for me. It was so dang delicious. Our server was super friendly and we were able to talk about our connections in Alabama, which was fun. I went to the location on Logan and that was my first time at that location. I really liked the outside seating with the fire pit. Parking was tough, but it is Denver.

I called the location on Ogden, asked about reservations - the girl laughed and hung up. Ok b*tch, we'll go to a different location. Called Logan, at least she said it's first come but didn't offer to put us on any list which is mentioned on the website. Upon arrival we checked in with the hostess, she said 20 minutes. We headed to the bar and got a couple drinks. We stood outside the door enjoying our well made bloody Mary's and I see the people who came in after us get called for seating. We're both a party of 2. We check with the hostess and she sees that she crossed us off her hand written list. She says she doesn't know what happened but she can seat us right now. Glad I was paying attention... Our server was great (minus the forgotten items), the food was fantastic. Had the service matched the food I would've given 5 stars all around. To both of the hostesses who earned this place a 3 star rating: the service industry is NOT for you. The job is not a difficult one and neither of you did the bare minimum of the job you are paid for.

It's good! For this to be a place with multiple locations, the food is actually good. The menu is not too big. The location is not too bad and the quality of food is OK. The breading on the shrimp and the fish is perfect. The staff are great ! I went during lunch

Is there currently (1/22/22) outdoor dining? I have a family member who does not want to dine inside due to the pandemic. Thanks!

Yes they have outdoor dining. The have a tent outside the entrance that extends across their entire location.

    Gluten free options?

Not sure. Check their menu. I was only visiting from out of town.

Do they still offer the eggs Rockefeller?

I think someone sitting across from us had it.

Are dogs allowed in the patio?

    Only nice ones. Team Luciles

I'll check this spot out again, whenever I'm in town and want a taste of home. I love that the owner is born and raised in new orleans, he brings NOLA to Colorado on a serious tip. The owner was so nice and down to earth. Mr. Henry was very welcoming; he felt like family. My friend and I started with the boudin balls, which tasted more like salmon croquettes, which would have been amazing as croquettes, but as boudin balls, we did not taste rice much at all, and no sauce was served with them. I was desiring some Crawfish ettouffe and they were completely out of that, so i settle for the pasta monica with shrimp, which looked nice, but was way too salty to enjoy. I tried to push through but if I had continue to, it would have burned my tongue. The po boys was great 10/10 the fried catfish was 10/10. fries was 20/10 perfect crisp and softness fillings. hurricane drink was a nice strong & sweetness, a ball was drop when salt was rim vs sugar, but nonetheless it was close to the best. I really want to try that sold out crawfish ettouffe next time i'm here. Thank you Josh for gifting me the blueberry cake that was very sweet!!! I love Mr Henry homemade signature dessert. I got it to go (UberEats if being honest) and the to go container was packed to the brim with bourbon chicken over rice with two sides. They were both very tasty and the cabbage gave the plate a semblance of health (does have Vitamin C). The chicken is ridiculously good cooked grilled and charred. The sauce from the chicken gets onto the king sized bed of rice and is just divine. One portion will last for two meals in most cases. Can't wait to go back.
