I brought in my 2017 Ford Super Duty that had two really bad dents from another truck door slamming into the passenger side of my truck on a super windy day. One was on the molding line and the other was pretty deep with red paint from the other vehicle. It took these guys two hours and my truck looks brand new again and for a very minimal charge. Noice!!! Got back from Big Bend National Park after a week of RV'ing in late March 2017. I had just purchased a 2017 Ram 3500 Laramie truck for my towables. Anyway, BBNP and Terlingua are very dusty places! Got back to Austin and detailed my truck before parking it in the driveway. My wife bless her heart, goes on to violently open her car door and put a quarter sized door ding in my brand new truck. Needless to say I was shocked when I saw the dent. Trey at DentWorks took me in as a walk-in the next day and worked on my truck while I had lunch next door. He had my truck finished likely before I finished eating. I cannot tell where the dent was. When we had our 2014 Outlander Sport, I had rather clumsily dropped our 30-gallon (empty) camping water jug on one plane of the rear driver side quarter panel. Not something to easily replace without cutting weld points or body filling --- in the traditional body repair way of fixin' stuff. I swear, it feels like cars are made of tin foil these days. Thane came through and did his magic in all of 10 minutes. ... I'm sure he took a piss break as well in that long wait I had checking my emails on my phone. ... and picking off dirt from under my fingernails. That was 2014. A few weeks ago, we had the '15 Sport for ONE DAY in December and a light hail storm decides to fall on this part of town as the brand new car was sitting in the driveway. two guesses as to what it looked like. Took it in for Trey and Thane to look at and... well... yeah, tin foil. Putting that car to the light definitely reveals so much more than what the eye can see in regular daylight. In stark (sad) contrast, neither our '04 Suzuki nor the '09 Eclipse parked out at the time had ANY damage whatsoever. None that I could see, at least. Sad, yet good I guess? So, we're waiting on USAA to get their @$$ in gear (which is unusual)... and these guys are definitely doing the job. Total pros. I think the reviews say it all. Trey Pool is a consummate professional and a clear expert at what I would call the 'art' of PDR. I brought my E90 M3 in without an appointment and Trey gave me an estimate of $75 dollars with an appointment two days out. He guessed it would maybe take an hour depending on the complexity of accessing the panel. I showed up for my appointment, Trey took the car in, removed the dents before I finished reading an article about him hanging on the wall, and then charged me $40 dollars because it was a quick job. I hope I don't require these services often, but if I do I'm absolutely going to Trey. read more

I changed vehicles recently to a gorgeous white metallic Audi S4. Within weeks of having the new vehicle, someone backed into me at an HEB parking lot and severely dented my rear trunk lid. Well, Thane at Dentworks was once again able to work some magic for me, and the trunk lid looks 99.99% brand new, at probably 1/10th the cost of what it would have cost to fix if I took it to a major auto body repair shop or dealer. After getting several bids from as far away as San Marcos, Dentworks was by far the best deal BY A LOT! I dropped my BMW off and within 2 days it was done perfectly. They are very nice and local family owned. They drove me to pick up my rent car and did some last minute repairs on the rent car after my garage door came crashing down on it due to a broken opener belt (another long story- Liftmaster is the best! Lifetime warranty on parts). They also told me that I had a lifetime warranty for door dings since I had the hail damage fixed there. I have taken many cars there over many years and have had nothing but good experiences there. You can also go eat fried chicken or a burger with huge malt at Top Notch next door while waiting for minor dent work. read more

I couldn't have asked for better service, price, or quality. My experience matches everyone elses' here. I dropped something on my car putting a small dent in the front panel...of course, while trying to fix something else on the car. I made the mistake of trying to pop the dent out myself, but in short, I only made it much worse. Sure, it was definitely a first-world problem, but it was gnawing at me since I'd stupidly caused it myself...and then that I had just made it worse. Trey was kind and professional and totally erased the original damage, and my poor attempts at fixing it myself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is the second time I have taken my car into Dentworks and I have been more than satisfied both times. The first time, about a year ago, a group of neighborhood kids threw a ball into the trunk of my car and put about a golf ball-size dent in the trunk of my car. I took it to Dentworks and they fixed it for a reasonable price within 2 hours and I couldn't tell! Awesome! The second time, I took my car in this morning to Dentworks (hopefully it will be my last time) because I accidently backed my car into a mailbox - my fault this time! Trey originally quoted me $200.00 to repair which I was totally comfortable with paying. When I picked up my car he told me he would only charge $100.00 and that body shop people would probably have charged me $2,000.00. I told him I was willing to pay the $200.00 he originally quoted me, but he refused, only taking $100.00. What a nice, honest guy! I truly appreciate people like him! This is a five star review for someone who didn't take my business, and I will strongly refer for a long time. Let me explain. I have a very nice dent on my passenger door. It is the kind that makes you proud. Real character and vigor. You either want to feel bad for me, or wonder what kind of demolition derby I have been part of. I took it into dentworks ready to just write a check and get the stress off my mind. Trey came out to look it over, give his advice, look everything over, and pay his respects for my horrible dented door. He told me two things. First, he explained exactly what he could do and what he couldn't do. He wanted me to know that he would do his best, but that this narly dent was hardcore. He said exactly what parts he would fix, and that the whole thing would be o.k. He states, "You will have a hard time noticing" (I'm paraphrasing here). I asked, "Will others notice, or will I notice because I know it is there?" He then did something I have never had a car guy do for me before. He admitted.... I may need to go to a collision center that does full body work. Basically he said he could do something for me at a good price, that would be great work; but mine was f-ed to the 8th degree, and I may want to call my insurance and get the fancy smancy service. He then went and got his buffing equipment, and spent a good 5 minutes buffing all my scratches and smudges out from the area... just to show me that I didn't need to worry about that aspect. FOR FREE. He did this just to make me feel better. I then tried to talk him out of everything. I asked every question I could to try and get him to say, "I will fix this for you the best for the best price." He still told me that he would do a great job for a great price, but for my extensive problem I should visit a full body center. This is now my favorite business I never gave money too. Trey gave me complete customer service; he helped me, he made my car look a bit better, and he advised me on other options to check out before I settled on him. I honestly believe, that had I left it with him he would have done a great job and I would have been 99% satisfied. My damage was just so severe I need my insurance to be involved, and he wasn't afraid to turn away a bit of business to help out a person he never met. For that, I say this is one of those place you are just lucky to go to. If I have another problem, this is where I will go. I strongly recommend you visiting here. Trey is one of the few honest helpful owners and workers out there that cares more about helping you then making money off you. My almost brand new Infiniti G37 got a nasty dent on its front fender in the wheel well area. Still I was hopeful that maybe Dentworks could fix it - I don't want to go through the nightmare of auto body repair/paint unless absolutely necessary, you know? I called Dentworks this morning at nine, Trey said "sure, bring it by and I'll have a look." No haughtiness of making an appointment, etc. I brought the car to him 30 minutes later and he immediately came outside to check it out. He told me that, sadly, the dent is too deep to repair, but he explained exactly why and also recommended a nearby auto body repair/paint shop to fix the car. I was very impressed with the prompt service and honest assessment of damage, and the repair shop he recommended was also great so far - I'll post my review on them once they return my car to me! These guys are magicians. I had an expensive individual color BMW 750i that got a dent in the quarter panel. Three different "experts" would not touch it for fear of damaging the paint finish. Prelude: park downtown, door ding, blank stare of feigned ignorance from responsible party... I was assisted by Thane for the estimate and the actual labor. He gave me an upfront, detailed description of the complexities involved with my particular dent at the time of estimate, long before any work. There was nothing but honesty from beginning to end. I was invited to stay and watch if I was interested (the garage is nicely windowed), though I opted not to. The work went quickly -- the duration perhaps a bit over an hour -- and I received a call to fill me in afterward. Thane gave me an account of exactly how the process was undertaken. He was vocally dissatisfied with the outcome (labeling it "maybe 80%") and, without any prompting on my part, waived the service fee entirely. I'd say his appraisal is wholly accurate. I brought in my Enclave which was dented pretty badly in a back quarter panel and on the read passenger side. I had hit my garbage cans pulling into my garage, much to my husbands dismay, and had a nice little crease up the side of the NEW car. I decided to give Dentworks a try and went over for an estimate. Trey told me to leave it for a whole day and he would do his best. He got as much of that huge dent and small creases out of the Enclave that was humanly possible using their process. The only way I would have been able to have it perfect was to spend $3K at a body shop and have the panels replaced. The car looks awesome. To top it off, Trey wasn't 100% pleased with the results so he only charged me half the rate he quoted. To me - it looks awesome. But it sure is nice to head to a repair place where they are perfectionists! I hope I dont need these guys again, but if I do, they are the first ones I will call! read more

I agree with all the positive reviews. I brought my car in for a dent repair that was self-inflicted (ran into my own garbage can at home). I got a quote from a body shop and it was $1300!! I brought it into Dentworks and Thane found the main dent and a few more minor ones. He quoted me $275 which I thought was more than fair. I dropped off the car and when I picked it up, it looked great. Thane said that he didn't need as much time as he thought and offered a price of $175 instead. I was blown away and happily gave him $200. I am very happy with the work done and certainly with the price. I will bring back all dents to this place, they are outstanding. read more

i had such a great experience with trey and his team last time i needed dents removed that it was "dentworks to the rescue!", yet again, for my poor little car. this time it was not hail, but a neighbor's car door that dented my passenger door. i drove over to get an estimate a couple weeks ago, which was painless as usual. they are quick to check out the situation and write you up a reasonable price for repair. after recieving cash from the door-ding offender, i made an appointment and brought my car in this morning to be fixed. they finished her up real quick, and once again, looking pretty much good as new. as ron burgundy might say, "stay classy, dentworks." read more

I had a dent on my new truck on the front left fender, it had several creases and another body shop wouldn't repair it for fear we would have to paint the panel. We came here because of all the great reviews, we paid $100 and now the truck is practically perfect!!! If you were to very intently look for the dent you would see tiny waves and micro scratches but all in all you would absolutely never notice it if you hadn't known it was dented before. I bought a new truck three months ago. It was my first new car purchase ever. Last weekend, I had an encounter with a tree stump. I lost. It left an 18" creased indention and deep scratch on the bottom of the front passenger door. Upon inspection, I did not believe this could be repaired without taking it to a body shop, renting a car, etc. My buddy told me to at least call these guys. I took the truck up there two days ago. Thane met me up front and walked out to the truck with me. He noted the scratch was pretty deep and that there was some dirt in there. He was up front that he would not be able to repair the scratch, but would buff it and try to clean it to make it less noticeable. He also stated he thought he could significantly improve the dent/crease, though he was unsure whether he could get it back to normal. He quoted me $200, so I scheduled an appointment for yesterday. I was very skeptical, and prepared for this to fail. I dropped the truck off yesterday morning around 10:00. Thane called me at 4:15 to let me know they were done..... These guys COMPLETELY removed this dent. I wish I had taken photos before the repair so you could all see how bad it was. As far as I can tell, the dent is completely gone without a trace, save and except for the scratch, which Thane clearly stated from the outset he could not remove from. However, they buffed the scratch and removed the dirt, and it is significantly less noticeable than it was before. I would absolutely do business with these guys again, and highly recommend you at least give them a chance before taking your car to a traditional body shop for dent repair. Solid 5 stars. read more

I have to say I walk into any autobody place expecting to be lied to, misled, or just generally screwed. This place was the total opposite. I very quickly got a quote - simple process where the craftsman himself comes out and gives an estimate and writes it on a card. I came back months later and they fit me. They finished right on time on a $200 quote. I picked up my car and they said it turned out to be easier than they thought so he only charged me $100. I dont' remember any auto place, ever, not charing the fully quoted amount. I am very used to being upsold and given the run-around. In fact, the service was so good I was actually suspicious when I left. I even thought, "hmm, maybe he deliberately quoted too high and then gave me a lower price later so I would go on Yelp and write a positive review." I thought about it and decided I was very pleased with $100 for that repair and what seemed like a very honest guy. I doubt it is a bait and switch place. Only thing is I wish they had a car service to take people to/from work during business hours, but I guess most places don't have that. read more
