I sent Kevin a few photos of the dent to my wife's Lexus, which was approx, the size of my outstretched hand. It also had some nasty paint transfer in the middle of the dent. He responded promptly with a very reasonable estimate (much less than my deductible). We arranged an appointment time. He showed up on time, made the car look like NEW in a little over an hour, and even buffed out a couple of shopping cart scratches at no ectra charge. The results are AMAZING. One morning two years ago, shortly after buying a new Avalon, I walked out to the driveway to get in the car and to my dismay, noticed a dent in the trunk lid of our brand new car. I called DentPro and made an appointment for them to come to my house and tell me if they could remove the dent. Kevin, the DentPro technician, showed up right on time, took one look at the dent, said he could fix it, and gave me a very reasonable quote which I approved on the spot. He immediately started working to remove the dent as I stood by watching his every move. As he worked, stage by stage coaxing the dent out, my attitude went from skepticism to dismay as I watched the dent slowly disappear right before my eyes. Wow. Just wow! Got a ding on the driver's side rear door of my Highlander. People baffle me. How can you do this kind of damage and not even leave a note! My faith in people was seriously tested. Until Kevin came by to take a look. He told me to give him a few minutes, that this looked worse than it really was, and inside of 10 minutes, he was done. Just needed to be buffed out. There's a tiny residual scratch, but 95% of the issue was taken care of. No charge. No problem. Seriously? He could not have been nicer, more professional, and clearly he knew what he was doing. I can't recommend him enough. Nice, talented, and a damn fine businessman. I don't write many of these reviews but I couldn't get to Yelp fast enough for this one. Keep his name and number handy! My flawless black Challenger R/T got an anonymous, major sharp door ding on the rear quarter right on the body crease line. Dammit! This in spite of using the car very little and always carefully parking in far away end spots. I can't tell you how much what seems like a small thing can ruin the whole experience of having a nice-looking car. It was definitely not something that could be pulled or popped out so I didn't understand how paint-less dent repair could fix it. Then after reading about the techniques and seeing many perfect reviews for the San Jose DentPro guy and then my local Morgan Hill guy Kevin, I realized this should be the right way to go. I sent Kevin an email photo and description of the damage, and he replied in minutes from an iPhone. He guessed it was do-able and gave a surprisingly reasonable estimated cost range. We scheduled a bright and early weekend house call. The San Jose guy Sean was also just as responsive when I contacted him several weeks before, but when I was ready I went with Kevin because I live in his area and he seemed to have a similar level of expertise. I don't recommend standing around watching like I did. It made me nervous and I made him nervous. Before starting he told me this one is challenging because the dent is right on the crease and then assured me it won't cost anything if it doesn't work out... what?! But he's been doing this 17 years and he thinks he can do it. So he proceeds to apply a number of different techniques including, blindly working the metal from behind with long tools through a hole in the wheel well, directly tapping and banging around the the dent with various tools and hammers, applying heat with some kind of little blow-dryer looking thing, repeating all these a number of times before the dent started looking like it would come out. I was worried when I saw some fine sandpaper and buffing on the clear coat, but before long you couldn't tell where the damage or work was done. He billed me the low end of his estimate. It was a small fraction of my insurance deductible. I was really surprised about the quality and value of the repair job, and he said sometimes he even surprises himself! This is an art, not a procedure, and above all it's a service. There is no BS in this business unlike so many other auto body and repair services. read more

My husband decided that the best way to keep me from backing into anything would be to buy me a car with a back up camera and beepers. It worked for 6 months then it happend...I backed into another car! I called Dentpro and from the time I heard the receptionists voice I knew it would be a good experience! I seldom write reviews, but Kevin's work on our Subaru deserves special mention. Kevin was punctual, professional, and friendly. Because the hood is aluminum, and not sheet metal, it required extra time and skill to remove the dent. Kevin also removed a side dent and polished out a scratch.
