I was parking my brother-in-law's GMC Sierra 1500 pickup in a small parking garage when I…read moreaccidentally crushed in the rear quarter panel on the drivers side and slightly damaged the bottom of the backseat passenger door on the driver's side by cutting a wall too short. This was very upsetting and depressing to me, since it was not my truck. I did not want to turn the accident into his insurance, which would likely cause his insurance rates to be increased. Thus, I got four different estimates to repair the damage. The main damage was to the rear quarter panel and so I requested two estimates, one to fix everything and one to just fix the rear quarter panel. One body shop would not even give me the estimate for just fixing the rear quarter panel, saying they would have to fix everything to warrant their work. Morgan Hill Auto Body was the last one I obtained an estimate from and their estimate was actually the lowest. Larry was great to deal with and he understood my situation, and I ended up choosing to have the work done at Morgan Hill Auto Body. Larry keep the costs very close to the original estimate and even removed and reinstalled the truck's toolbox for no charge. The work was done on time and when I picked up the truck they had washed and waxed the truck, making it look better than ever. If you want great work done at a reasonable price talk with Larry at Morgan Hill Auto Body to get an estimate.

I do not have the ability to return due to my travel schedule, which I clearly communicated from the start. The issue is not that the work wasn't done--it's that I was led to believe it would be. Had they been upfront about their capacity, I would have gone elsewhere to avoid being put in this stressful situation right before a long drive. They called my insurance to set me up and the next day, they ordered the parts and gave me an ETA of the arrival of the parts and how long the job was going to take. They offered me a loaner car through them with no cost. The next day, I called to reschedule my appointment due to me needing a bigger vehicle. Instead of being bothered by me rescheduling, they went ahead and scheduled me a rental car, called my insurance, and set me up with a ride to Enterprise. I received updates and were flexible enough with my pickup due to me having something scheduled around the period they were going to be done. The level of care they provide to their customers is great. You can tell they care about the customer rather than making money and screwing you over. I did yelp research and…read morefound 5 local to Morgan hill, after driving around and getting quotes, I decided to go with Rocci's for one big major reason: Debbie Hernandez the second generation owner of this body shop is not only friendly and knowledgeable, she has explained all my options of this bumper replacement and let me pick, for example, after market or OEM part, she laid out the pricing difference and the the potential problem with aftermarket is the fit may be slightly off. She was able to explain every single process of the work that needed to get done is plain English, I felt I was free to ask questions, that I was respected for wanting to know answers and that in no way I was taken advantage of because my expertise is not in cars. After asking how long the repair would take and I was calculating in my head when will I find a spot in my calendar to be able to work from home, I was pleasantly surprised that I can get a rental car on the spot and Debbie also quoted my rental expense right then and there-less than 20 dollars a day out of the door. Big bonus on no interruption of my daily life with so little cost.
