I between everyone in my family they have repaired 7 different damaged cars trucks. They are right on for estimates, approved by most insurance companies . In and out when promised. I was there to get an estimate for repairs at no point did your adjuster show me any damage on window however after the repairs were done and I realized the damage he was quick to tell me not to worry about it that they would fix it and bill my insurance which I did not approve. Better than Great. We were referred to Fix Auto by Gilroy Toyota, they don't have a body shop so Fix Auto is their go to body shop. My first contact was with Ronald. He was friendly and professional. We made an appointment with him for the following day to get an estimate. We showed up at the appointed time. He was friendly and efficient. Promised us an estimate that the afternoon. He kept his promise. We made an appointment to bring our vehicle in the following week. We met with Adrian to drop off. He was also friendly and professional. He gave us a estimated delivery date. Adrian provided updates along the way and they dealt with our insurance company. We didn't have to do anything. They had the vehicle completed on their promised delivery date. How often does that happen? This facility is really clean. I didn't expect to have such an effortless experience, but we did. I would happily and confidently recommend Fix Auto to anyone. Husband took Maxima there only had 22k on it and need a rear end fender bender repaired. They didnt seal the back so after it rained several months later the car flooded. Brought it back and they said they would get the mold out. They didnt even detail it or suck all the water out. The owner did the right thing and bought the car. It was molded and he didnt want to replace the carpeting. Later my Prius V was dinged in the parking lot. I thought this company stands by their work and will make it right. I go to get an estimate, they go through all the paper work pictures after 30 minutes hands me the estimate and Steve walks me out to my car and says " If I bought every moldy car I would be out of business." I was directed to Fix Auto as one of the two preferred Farmers Insurance approved body-shops in Gilroy to correct damage to the bumper of my 2014 Honda Accord which was rear-ended by a Farmers client. In short, I was told by Fix Auto that I would have to accept my bumper being epoxied to patch holes created in bumper instead of bumper being replaced and repainted to be equivalent to the condition cosmetically and structurally prior to the accident. After I debated Fix Auto on what I considered acceptable (new bumper replacement) and sent pictures Fix Auto requested, Fix Auto stopped replying to my inquires. They also reported to Farmers the damage estimate of a value only equivalent to the epoxy solution which was appx 2/3 of a correct and proper repair that other body-shops I have spoken to since have provided to me as an estimate. I am glad I am not insured with Farmers since clearly their interest was to save them $ and Fix Auto was recommending a poor grade of repair contrary to other repair ships in Gilroy. Took my 2010 Tundra here to have a collision repair done - I managed to damage one rear corner. This required a new bumper and either repair to the side panel or replacement. These guys recommended replacement and worked with my insurance to get that. I appreciated that. Very easy to deal with and the painter I met seemed highly skilled to me. I do some finishing myself, though not auto stuff. As time went on, they did a great job being responsive and fussing over the details and letting me know what was going on. Couldn't ask for more. Truck was returned to me cleaner than I brought it - detailed even and the work looks perfect. They use very modern high tech water borne finishes and I can actually tell the difference between that and factory paint, but it is a very necessary change for their industry and it does look good. The only name I recall is Steve, who was the rep I dealt with. Very easy to work with, no BS of any kind, and very considerate. Obviously oriented towards the customer, not anyone else involved. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday evening and it was all finished Friday around noon. They were super polite and helpful and they did a great job on my car. Robert was very professional and friendly. They replaced the bumper, matched the paint perfectly, and buffed out scraps on my head light.
