Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering Advance Auto Body to do their homework before having repairs done there. You are not required to use the body shop recommended by your insurance company. You have the right to choose any repair facility you trust, and I wish I had done that. I fell for "it will be convenient" line by my insurance company. In my experience, the repair process felt focused on meeting the insurance company's requirements rather than addressing all of my concerns. After the repairs were completed, I found it difficult to get follow-up issues resolved, and I was left feeling that my concerns were dismissed instead of fully investigated. Let me just say that Advanced Auto Body is the best! My 2008 Toyota Tacoma is still in good condition, so when the hood was scratched down to the metal, I was worried rust would settle in and ruin it. I called the office and received an appointment later in the day for an estimate. Megan, at the front desk, was very friendly and assisted us in filling out the preliminary paperwork. Angel was then called to write up the estimate. Angel, also very friendly, surveyed the damage and asked if I wanted to wait or if I wanted the estimate to be emailed. I chose to have it emailed and within 15 minutes of getting home, I had it. The estimate was very detailed and listed everything to be done at a reasonable price. I called to schedule an appointment. I was able to drop it off the next afternoon so they could get started the following morning, and was given a pick up date for two days later. I received texts updating their progress. The day of pickup, I called to find out approximately what time it would be done and they needed to call me back with the info. A couple hours later, I received the call to pick it up at 2:30. At 2:30, we walked in, Megan remembered us, finished up our paperwork and called Angel to bring out my truck. The team did a wonderful job on the repair. I can't tell anything ever happened. And, the repair has a lifetime guarantee for as long as I own the vehicle. Couldn't ask for anything better. The staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had. This place is a joke. They attempted to fix the front bumper before we moved out of state and within a month it was falling off. We were not given correct information in regards to fixing the bumper and now blame is for choosing to repair the bumper the way we did. The are also very difficult to work with now that we are out of state. Manager does not call back despite repeated attempts and they do not stand by their warranty. Terrible customer service....take your car anywhere but here. read more
