Amazing service! Cheapest oil change in Morgan Hill! I needed a fast full synthetic oil change for my car. I called in beforehand to check their availability and came in for a super quick oil change! Highly recommend their shop for auto repairs and oil changes! The workers here are honest, friendly, and great!

After checking out multiple shops, I decided to take my car to ray at the transmission clinic for a…read morecouple of reasons. First, he's been in gilroy since at least the early 90's. I figured he wouldn't have been in business that long if he was in the habit of screwing over his customers. Second, he's former military and I like supporting veterans. Given the other positive reviews, I expected to get decent service. He's a small independent mechanic with a no frills operation. Ray tells me to bring my car in on Thursday, because he was busy. I come back later that week and drop off my car. Ray then removed the transmission from my car to repair the squeaking noise my clutch was making, rendering it inoperable. Then he stopped working on my car for the next four weeks. Ray began working on other customers cars which were probably better paying than my small job. Week one the excuse was "we are waiting on parts to be delivered ". I knew this was a lie, because all the bearings and parts needed were in stock at the Napa auto parts, two doors down from his shop. Week two he said he was swamped with work, and would get to my car tomorrow. Each day I came to get my car he hadn't made any progress on it. It's about a 4 hour job to fix what needed to be replaced, it took four weeks. By week three, his response became "maybe tomorrow ". What could I do but throw my hands up and wait? My car was apart. By week four, I said this is getting ridiculous, so Ray promised to have my car ready to go by Tuesday at 1:00pm. Promise! By 1 pm the next day my car was not only not ready it was just getting worked on. My ride had to take me back home and I walked to work. Ray had apologized for not having the car ready, he said "sh!% happens, ya know." My car was finished later that day. The damage? $650 for labor (about $130 an hour) and $232 for parts and tax. I feel his prices are fair for the Bay Area. Your experience may vary. I think ray is a decent mechanic, but he has a hard time saying 'no' to other jobs and I suffered as a result. Not the most professional . I'll have my car towed to San Jose next time. I can't recommend this place.

We called mechanics and shops who couldn't help us until Monday, if at all. My friend wanted to get the car worked on immediately, because she didn't want to have to leave her car so far from home and at an unfamiliar mechanic shop in an unfamiliar town. We found Immortal Auto Moto and spoke with a very nice woman. She said Paul would call us soon. As promised, Paul called us shortly after and drove to us! He was so nice and went to work immediately! He found the problem, fixed it, and saved the day! His price was extremely reasonable and he didn't have any problems with my friend standing there watching him. In fact, he is an authentic person who is passionate about his work. Before I wrote this review, I peeked to see if he had a website. He does and it is excellent. There is only one problem with Paul and his business: I WANT HIM TO SERVICE ALL OF MY CARS and I live too far away! Too bad! My friend would like to have more work done on her car and loved Paul's work, but she lives too far away from him as well. If your car breaks down OR if you need an excellent, trustworthy, authentic mechanic- he is your man! I have been told by a very successful and prosperous person that there are three things everyone should have in order to do well in life: an excellent and honest doctor, lawyer, and mechanic. Well- Paul is an excellent mechanic and reasonably priced.Mechanics who are wolves in sheep's clothing will take advantage of drivers in vulnerable situations who are broken down on the side of the road, by overcharging and who knows what else. NOT PAUL! He's a true super hero!!! What a find! Paul's a Godsend!

Starting with a phone inquiry, their response was friendly and professional. Yes, they are busy, but they are very accommodating to my schedule too. Before I took my car in, I had an idea what my engine service light means through my car code scanner. But I'm not a mechanic and I don't know how accurate my scanner is and how much I can trust it. I took the car to George. His son Joe took care of me. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding. He called me later when they had time to check my car out and told me the problem my car is having which is totally in-line with the scanner. (They did not know I had scanned the code already). They found a leak in a hose that would explain the failure code. They recommended to replace it and see if the code would go away, and to make sure no other problems were hidden behind that. They did not find additional problem. So, they only charged me for replacing the hose and a dirty air filter. The conclusion is: they know what they are doing and they did not try to sell me something that I don't need. They are honest, experienced, and knowledgeable. I believe this is a family business. Their passions and experience about auto repair is clearly evidenced. Yes, they charge 3% credit card fee. So, if you want to save a little, bring cash. To me, I am super happy that I found a auto shop for life !

Right after I got the car back, the AC stopped working. I had my son bring it back, and this time they said the coolant level was very low and charged me another $453 to refill it. It seems clear the original warning was related to low coolant, which they failed to catch during the first visit. Instead, I ended up paying over $600 for what should have been identified from the start. $653 just to refill coolant is over charging. I raised my concerns but never received any follow-up. Very disappointed with the lack of proper diagnosis, poor communication, and high pricing. I won't be returning.
