Called Gohlke Pools Thursday afternoon and they came out Friday morning. Where another pool company had estimated a full day to replace, Gohlke was here less than two hours and replaced it. Not only that, Nathan spent another 30 minutes explaining how the pump works, best settings and how to upkeep. Price was great too. Very impressed!!!!!!!

As complete novice above ground pool owners, my husband and I have struggled quite a bit, even with the help of an outstanding pool service. Every time I come in here, armed with photos and an idea of what I think I need, they're happy to help...and then as soon as I get home, I find out that what they sold me is in fact not at all what I need. Just today, for instance, my pool tech told me to pick up a backwash hose at Leslie's to attach to our pump. I showed the employee a photo and gave the dimension that my husband had measured, duly purchased the $65 hose he recommended, got home, and...not only is the end of the hose too narrow for the place it attaches, it's just a cut-off end of plastic hose, with no connector. I called the store and got a long song and dance about pools are like children, all are unique, he sold me the most common/standard hose, yada yada, well yes I would in fact need a hose clamp to CONNECT that hose to my pump, why didn't he mention that, well, apparently I didn't ask, well no, they don't carry larger diameter hoses in store, blah blah. And back to the store I went to return the useless hose and get my money back. So after making two trips here in a day, plus having to verify that the refund comes through on my credit card, I ordered what we needed from Amazon. In the future, I will not waste my time, effort, and gas money to pretend that anyone at Leslie's can actually help me.

The process was great at first, a little problematic in the middle (COVID and other issues) and then great to close out. I had some issues and addressed them all with Lance. I had originally left scathing reviews and was angry. Now having spoken with Lance, both on the phone and at my home, I am a fan of OLPP. If its not going to plan or exactly as hoped I would give Lance a call and I am sure he will set things straight. There are some great people at OLPP and they converted me from angry to happy.

It is time to air out some dirty laundry we have been holding back!…read more - Currently at 11 months into our pool build that was promised to be 2 months (max 3) - completion date was this past January. - We have paid all but 4,500 many months ago and are dealing with promises and constant evasive behavior, and responses of "let me check"...and they never get back to us. - We have a hole/pond in our yard...had frogs, thousands of living mosquito larvae all spring and summer, black widows in the hole and around, gunck and algae in the what used to be white drain holes/skimmers. - Lance has attempted to work things out but now we are back to chasing him and weeks of waiting. - Seems litigation is the ONLY option...we have paid all but 4,500 of our share many months ago but they are holding our money and not delivering - pretty standard case. - Sad that it has come to this but they have my hard earned money and haven't and aren't delivering...
