I love breakfast so I enjoy any kind of breakfast food. The food was alright... bacon a little two burnt. The potato hashbrown was falling apart. The taste was good! I'll try and order something else for a more solid review read more

The Vaughan location is worst location!!! I came in tonight hoping to give it another try.. Nope a mistake. Let me start off by saying I lost my appetite there were so many flies in the restaurant. I've been to this location many times and the service is so horrible. One time we waited 45 minutes for two orders of pancakes.... Came out burnt. the older ladies that works there is so rude. They really need to trained the staff on what customer service is!!! I would not recommend this location to anyone ! Horrible service, horrible food. read more

I would give this NOT EVEN 1 STAR. My fiancé and his friend walked into Denny's Vaughan location around 1-1:30am on Sunday Aug 25 2019. They rode there on their motorcycles and had their gear on. The waitress/hostess (around 18-25 years old, blonde girl) walked by them without acknowledging them waiting for a table. There was no "hello" or "I'll be with you in a minute" just completely ignored them. That continued on for 25 min. My fiancé had to walk over to get some assistance asking to be seated ONLY to be told that there was no clean tables even though there were PLENTY of clean tables around and not in use as it was around 1am on a SUNDAY. When they were finally seated, she did not come back to take their order for another 15-20 minutes so eventually they got up and left. They tried to get her attention but she was too busy serving other tables while IGNORING the customers who had to wait 25 minutes to even be SEATED. And to have to wait another 20 min to get served? Who is management even hiring? Do they have any customer service skills at all, is she just completely oblivious or is she discriminating them based on what they looked like/wearing because they came in on motorcycles?? My fiancé and his friend both work for the city of Toronto and came in looking for a decent meal late at night and got in return NOTHING but frustration. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS behaviour and terrible customer service. There was no apologies for the long wait or any sort of acknowledgment of their existence at this establishment and this was not their first time being there. It's safe to say whoever was working there that night should have some additional training in customer service because if that's who you have serving your customers, I'm surprised you're still in business. Never again will we eat here and we will be sure to inform all our friends and family members, including the people we work with to be cautious coming to this place if at all. read more

I know it was mothers day being new to Maple we decided to try it out instead of going to the usual sunset grill like we usually do . We got there at 8:00 am and got seated and offered coffee right away. Took 40 minutes for food to arrive and it was cold. Service was nice but food portion was small and cold. For 11.49 it wasn't worth it. read more

Good food.. Exceptional staff and Manager. Great location and atmosphere. Great experience

Horrible service, servers are not friendly and sloppy, almost look like they don't know what they're doing. Food made me feel sick for the rest of the day, toast was stale, sausage was awful and the rest was completely mediocre. Do not recommend you will get sick. read more

Most people probably won't believe this but, this was my first time at Denny's. I've always wanted to go but never got a chance. A couple of girls from work and I went to get some dinner after work. As we got to the restaurant it was not too busy, so we got seated right away. The first thing we ordered was milkshakes. From what I have heard the milkshakes are really good. I got the Birthday Cake one and others got Oreo. The shakes were really good. The birthday one was a little sweeter than I thought but it tasted great. As for food I ordered the Peanut Butter flavored pancakes. I felt like the food was so much I couldn't even finish my food. The only reason why I rated it 4/5 is because of the service it was really slow despite the fact that it wasn't busy. They missed up our order twice but they were kind enough to fix it. First it was the side, we ordered fries but they gave us hash browns. Second we order 2 Oreo, 1 Birthday Cake shake but they brought 1 Oreo, 2 Birthday Cake. Overall, the food was really good, I would love to come back and try something else on the menu. read more

Was seated by a hostess and waited 35 MINUTES! With no server coming to us , nobody acknowledged us being there, not one single employee. Every employee just walked by starring at us saying nothing, it's like we never existed. I got up and walked out with my nieces asking for a manager on the way out and explaining to her that I waited for 35 minutes and was treated like a ghost. She offered to rectify the situation with a 30% discount at first then a 50% discount as I declined. I would have not eaten there for free. The bitter taste of this Denny's was in my mouth and I would never enjoyed my meal. The food there is anything but good. Would never go back there again. read more

This place is realy busy and the hostess seems lovely. While I waited for my takeout, I witnessed one staff member named Kim complain to the kitchen about making smoothies and overall have a terrible attitude. Another one got really frustrated because she couldn't find the map that shows her section. They could probably benefit from an active manager that actually is around when the restaurant is busy. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! My friend and I both ordered a "build your own slam" and some blackberry pancake puppies. Pancake puppies came out burnt and weird looking with a funny colour inside. A waiter stopped by our table to ask "do you mind if I ask you what you ordered that is green?" He meant the pancake puppies because they had a weird shade, possibly from the blackberries, but made me nervous nonetheless. The English muffin cake out cold and not buttered. I sent it back for a new one. Second one came out barely toasted and not buttered. I couldn't be bothered to complain. The English muffin was interesting tasting. Not like one I've ever had before. The pancakes came out cold and were nothing special. My hashbrowns were good, however I was quickly turned off when I found some eggshells at the bottom. I alerted the waiter about the eggshells and he said he would see if the manager would take it off the bill. When the bill finally came I was charged $1.29 approx for the English muffin. I wasn't sure why so I asked waiter. He said because it's gluten free. I told him I never ordered gluten free, and that I'm clearly not gluten free as I got regular pancakes. He told me, well that's the kind you got, I can show you on the menu that we also serve gluten free English muffins. At that pony I figured there was no point to debate this with a clearly inexperienced waiter. Side note: throughout the entire meal, the waiter apologized profusely for all the mistakes, however not once did a manager come over to apologize for anything. My friend and I paid the bill and went to the front to speak to a manager re: our experience. The manager said she knew about all of our issues and that all the staff are new as they just opened. My friend and I were told by her to come back in 2 MONTHS and that by then everything should be better. I'm not sure why they opened if they clearly still need 2 months for everything to be up to par. I called Denny's head office to report this situation and the managers obvious lack of management skills. I was told the owner from that location would call me to discuss the situation as they are and individual store and not corporate. That was 2 weeks ago and I've yet to have someone contact me. Such a shame that such a greatly anticipated restaurant turned out to be a real dud. Save you've money and go to Tim Hortons next door! read more

I understand there were a lot I mean alot of complaints about this location. However I was there only 1 time and didn't have a bad experience. I think they need to revisit there staff and of course the management team. We can not expect the best service when management is not doing there part. read more

lots of choices .. had tbone and shrimp .. steak was ok nor seasoned or aged .. shrimp was breaded with too much breading .. dining room was clean and service was scarce after our order was taken read more

Service was great but the food was not amazing... Definitely not as good as other Denny's

First time at your Dennys and the service was very slow. I waited patiently and it took about 30 min. How much longer should I wait? It was not too busy at that moment but I had to ask the server how long should I still have to wait and I got her attention. Food came very badly- it was not hot but the toast was burned and the presentation was sloppy. I was shocked. Cora's was way better I'm not gonna come back ever in your restaurant and I paid too much on that kind of food and service. NEVERMIND I will take my money somewhere else. read more

The breakfast was very well done, however an area of improvement would be the speed of service. It took over 10 minutes for someone to take our initial order, the waitress, though she was pleasant, didn't come to check on us at all during our meal and was hard to locate when we needed our bill. read more

New Denny's Location in Vaughan,ON - 2610 Rutherford I know it was Valentine's Day and it was busy, but it took long for our food to come and was cold. Also, for the money we paid for our food we ordered we did not get the food that was worth it. We did not expect a big full plate, but we got almost close to nothing and it was cold. We were disappointed for our first visit. We decided to give it second chance, and we went again, but for lunch. We were brought to our seat. We waited and waited for a server to come to our table. A family was seated after us at the table next to us, they had a server come to their table right away. I got up and went to the front to speak to the manager, who really did not seem concerned at all, but did send someone to our table right away, who did not even introduced herself to us. Our food came, the fries were overdone, hard and cold. I have to admit, they have amazing gravy. The whole time we were eating the waitress never came over to see if everything was okay, if we were okay, if we wanted a fill up on our water. When we finished eating she came over and asked if we wanted a fill up on our drink, really......... A different person brought over our bill, the manager not once came over to see if we were okay now, did not even apologize, nothing. This place is not for us, it is so disorganized and slow service. Food is not worth the money you pay. Management is not good at all. read more

Worst experience ever at Denny's. It was busy so we waited 35 minutes for a table - understandable. Sat down and waited 10 minutes for our waiter to come and he would only take drink orders even when we said we were ready to order. He kept getting our drink order wrong, we corrected him and when we got our drinks they weren't what we ordered! We've been sitting here waiting for our food for 44minutes and still nothing! Absolutely horrendous experience and if we all weren't so hungry we would leave but this long of a wait I'm hoping our food will arrive soon and I pray it will be what we ordered????!! Food is here and Lois couldn't remember who had what!! I give up. This place sucks! read more

Look guys it's denny's so level up your expectations. Compare it apple to apple. And in my comparison it's pretty good compare to wimpey's.

I was reading all the reviews and I was a little discourage by all the negative comment but I decided to come up with my own conclusion and to my surprise it was not all bad. The waitress was really nice and friendly you did not have to wait to long for your food to arrive and I did not experience cold eggs. I guess every one is difference and have different expectation for me I am not looking for high class breakfast place if that is to your liking well that is great for you. I am a fan I would definitely go back. read more

We have been to the Dennys a few times since it opened. We came back agin today because my daughter was craving their pancakes. Well we walked in and what a mess. Dirty tables everywhere lots of staff here apparently doing nothing. Service was slow as hell and there was like 6 tables of ppl all the other tables were empty. What a same only after a few months this place has gone to the dumps. I don't recommend anyone visit this place. Guess the management doesn't seem to give a crap where they work or how they keep the house keeping. Imagine how he or she lives at home if this is how they treat a place of work with customers. Good image Dennys!!! Keep up the good work. Maybe the Health department should get a call. read more

The service was ok for a Saturday evening. The food was quick but was awful, My hot chocolate was chucking and not properly stired. The pancakes were soggy and had an awful taste to them. My grand slam was a grand shame it was cold and taste less not worth the money. The kids meal was a waste of money, you'd be better off to order a $5.00 pizza somewhere else where it's made fresh and not just warmed up. Overal they were unacommodating and unwilling to make any changes to my meal. My family and I won't be returning. read more

It was not crowded when I went, thank goodness as I hear it is usually pretty busy. Even though it was not busy they seemed to seat us in the middle of the restaurant at a tiny table with people all around. Very uncomfortable!! We asked to move and were accommodated. I ordered a moons over my hammy (with bacon instead of ham) my Denny's fave. My boyfriend ordered a stir fry type thing. The food came before our drinks - water and ginger-ale. And the food took a while. Also the entire time we were there the owner or manager kept walking around staring at the tables and or standing and watching. It was not a Pleasant feeling and was actually weird and creepy. I noticed a bunch of people looking at him and talking about it also. Note for the manager or owner ..... Make a few rounds of needed but don't make yourself noticed and just stand around and watch or keep walking around and around the restaurant. It makes the experience off putting for everyone. Our food was just awful, the service was terrible. And in closing as you may have guessed I will not be back to that location. The end. read more
