My GF wanted the deluce De leche which was on point as always are server (forgot her name Alzheimer's will do that) was pleasant and attentive. i went there earlier tonight with my friends and we were sat at a dirty table. the waitress wiped it down with just a napkin. we waited for HALF AN HOUR and never had anyone come to take our drink orders. i watched as a different group got sat a few tables down and they had received their drinks after just 10 mins of waiting. yet no one ever approached my table to ask if we had been helped. we got up and left and still no one asked if there was a problem or something they could do. absolutely horrible service. read more

Walked in no one in line 3 couples came in behind us. Hostess said it was a 10 minute wait because there were no CLEAN tables. While she stood there staring at us instead of helping bus tables.. one of which only had 1 plate on it and another that just had glasses a single guy came in and was seated (at a table for 2) before the people waiting. Then waited for food. Skillet was not sizzling in fact the food was barely hot. Raw onions all over the food. Biscuits and grave took a long time and had almost no gravy. what i don't like about the waitresses is that when my kid orders a spaghetti with no meatballs because the meatballs are too big they wait til after he had ate the spaghetti to tell us that instead of getting the meatballs you can get this meat sauce to replace the big meatballs. Well you guys need to work on being better waitress no matter who the customer is instead of standing around talking crap about the customer because they had order spaghetti with no meatballs you could have told us while we were ordering our food. Plus the waitresses at night are slow as crap and waited over an hour for our food. if you dont like your job you shouldn't be working there just saying and shouldn't be cussing infront of my kids either. Though our waitress Nae was super cool our food was awful. Despite their 100% sanitary rating the cooks had no hairnets and there was hair in the food. The sausage was over cooked the bacon burned and the hash browns so crispy it hurt my teeth. Told they have new cooks well they need to get up to speed. Otherwise business will go down hill. Came here with my brother and partner stood at the front door and waited to be seated. The place didn't look busy unless 2 tables is considered busy here. We were seated ordered our drinks and then ordered immediately as soon as the waiter came back with our drinks. We didn't order extras or remove any items from the food that we selected to make it fast and simple for us and the waiter. The waiter then goes on to seat a table of 6, after he takes our orders which, only about 5 mins have passed since we "put in" our order. Then 10mins later he sits another table of 3 behind us and takes their order. We wait about 20 minutes for our food and nothing come up not even refills or some water. So we kindly ask the waiter and he says it's coming out soon so we wait. 30 mins later the table of 6 get their food and refills and the waiter comes to tell us that they try and take care of the bigger tables first even though we order way before they did! Then after about 45mins to an hour the table behind us was served and we never got our food because we got up and left. I love eating at Denny's but this one I highly recommend everyone to stay away. Did I forget to mention the waiter had poor hygiene and giant hickeys on his next allowing everyone to see. Did not even try to hide it. read more

Food took awhile to arrive, then we had to wait again for syrup and more butter. The eggs used in the french toast either were not well incorporated or they used too many. They were not fluffy and I noticed a slight egg consistency. The bacon was good, made crispy as ordered. The restroom could use more maintenance. There were only 3 servers and one cook so service was slow and we never got drink refills. The worst was when I was using the restroom and the lady mopping came in. She didn't even bother wait and just mopped under the door soaking my skirt. At least the food was good and the servers nice, though clearly overworked due to poor management. read more

One of the busses carrying our high school band (75 people) broke down on our way home from Washington DC. We stopped at this Denny's to see if they could accommodate us and they spent the next 2 hours taking great care of our VERY TIRED students and chaperones. Happily surprised with the great food and service at the Denny's in Selma. We had the senior waffle slam and it was absolutely delicious! Used a coupon from Denny's Rewards for 20 percent discount, but would have been pleased even if paying the full price. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and fast! The food was undercooked and all I heard while I was waiting to get my food was how one of the waitresses "guys she be messin' wit" makes prison cakes out of Oreo cookies and water. "He back in prison now dough" but don't be alarmed "cause when he git back out he gots potential. " so im sure their love story will have a happy ending in 5 to 10 years. You will have to excuse my spelling I'm not exactly sure how to type like she talks. But I am sure of one thing the only reason I would ever go back there is because the waitress Angela that we had was very polite and she was the only person in the entire building I saw do anything. She was taking care of every table by herself while two of her coworkers and someone I can only assume is the manager stood around and did absolutely nothing. That's why she got a 50% tip. The food was good and fast, but the housefly's flying around our table thought so too! They were so bad that I to eat with my left hand and 'shoo' them away with my right hand-CONSTANTLY I hand to keep my hand moving back and forth, my hand became tired, and I almost knocked my drink over. It was just like being outside at a picnic. I remembered that a fly vomits every time it lands on something, so... I threw away a lot pieces of my hamburger. Also, I 'flung' grease with tomato onto my boyfriend's shirt when I waved my hand back and forth too forcefully, so I had laundry to do when I got home. Plus the flys' landed on us, how disgusting! We left early, before our check arrived- we asked for it at the counter. I will never go back there. Maybe Denny's could invest in some Fly Paper? and maybe the employees could use Fly Swatters, instead of standing around using their Smart phones. read more

First time coming in here and just saw it on the sign driving on 95. This Denny's is very clean and well kept. My waitress Darla was very nice and took care of me. The food was made in minutes and it tasted great! And the manager had also came out and checked on how everything was going, which I really appreciated. read more

Been to many Denny's and this one is pitiful. We were one of two tables in the whole restaurant when we ordered and didn't receive our food until 3! Additional tables were seated and served. Apparently extra buttered toast is not something that they can comprehend. It came out not buttered at all and the server said "it's buttered well but I brought some extra" lol. Then when asked for a new order of toast she seemed very confused. Also very much resembles a day care with employees racing each other through the restaurant. Learned my lesson for this Denny's read more
