"Great deli-style sandwiches, from rather hidden location on Chapel Hill Rd"…read more Came by here on a Saturday. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.

So glad I found this spot. After reading the reviews, I knew I would get my money's worth and the…read moreingredients were fresh. First of all, the bread is soft and has a nice bite, holds the juices of a sandwich well and was fresh. I got the Cobble Hill sandwich and the turkey was really good. Also the size is amazing for the price. When you get there, it feels like you're in the wrong place or entering in the wrong way, but you're not. I asked if this was the sandwich spot and a young man took my order and made my sandwich within 5 min. And there is enough parking behind the State Farm building to pull up and get your sandwich I can't wait to go back and try the Italian and cheesesteak sandwiches.

My son just gifted me with two desserts delivered from Larema Coffee House for my birthday…read more I just finished the banana pudding- NO, you haven't had banana pudding like this! Larema's banana pudding is a step above what I have ever had before. It was light, with a very rich banana flavored custard that didn't lean too heavy on the sugar. Just my style! The other dessert was a tiramisu. Also, very light and not too sweet, delivering a pleasant mouth feel with a rich coffee/cocoa flavor. Can't wait to make an in-person visit so that I can explore more of their desserts and breakfast/ lunch menu items.

I stopped at this restaurant during a train layover in 2024, a very difficult season of my life,…read morewhen I was traveling between shelters and trying to find stable housing. I remember needing a place that felt safe, nourishing, and calm--and this restaurant gave me that. I came in during the Olympics and was able to sit, rest, watch the games, and simply be for a little while. The atmosphere was welcoming without being overwhelming, which meant more than I can easily put into words. The food itself was exactly what my body needed--fresh, healthy greens and clean, nourishing options that helped me feel grounded and cared for during a time when so much was uncertain. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It wasn't just a meal, it was a moment of restoration. What stayed with me most was the sense of being able to sit in a peaceful place, eat something good for my body, and feel human again in the middle of a very hard year. I'm deeply grateful for that experience and would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh, healthy food and a calm place to land--whether you're traveling or just need a quiet, nourishing meal.

Never had a jersey mike prior but hubby told me he had a cheesesteak sandwich in a store in MD claimed it was good so thought would try it. Yes, the cheesesteak was tasty with that melted cheese and added mustard to it and voila, not a bad sandwich. Hubby told me this NC store served better tasting steaks cooked to order on a fresh hoagie bread. We meant to only do a quick pit stop but end up eating our sandwiches with that bbq chips which only enhanced the flavor over a diet pepsi(no coke products here). Only bone to pick with was proportion. One half of the sandwich had very little meat so it was off on taste on each bite on that end. Otherwise, if meat was well proportioned would have compelled me to fork or even hand out 5 stars for this location! Service in this almost tip of the South was not bad. Store was clean inside and so was outside ~ great outdoor wood picnic tables which we settled on since it was a nice day during our visit, giving off an ambience for the location albeit you could hear the drive thru intercom at next door's Bo store, in a funny way! Glad we stopped by!
