I have eaten at Vinsons a few times with no problem. But today I picked up 2 orders of fish & with sweet potato fries. The fish was dry and overcooked. The sweet potato fries were burnt, hard and inedible. I wouldn't recommend this dish.

The onion rings are soooo good here. I will certainly always get this as a side with my meal. The chicken salad needed some mustard and didn't need the fruit. Other than that, it was also good. The peanut butter chocolate cake was not good and way too cold. Clearly they keep it in the fridge, but it needed to sit out a bit before being served.

These folks were able to accommodate a whole bunch of us on a Sunday afternoon in late May. They set up a room for us and we had terrific food, drinks and Service. Having never been to this Clayton restaurant before, we were all impressed and appreciative that they were able to make room for us at fairly the last minute. The menu has a nice variety. Definitely recommend sharing the Collard Jalapeno Dip and the Buffalo Cauliflower. Burgers were liked by all who had them. I was very happy with my Crab Cake Po-Boy (minus the bun) with a side salad. Look forward to going back next time we're in the area.

As a first time visitor, I enjoyed dining at this local gem. The ambience was inviting, clean, and modern. Staff were friendly, and I did not have to wait for an extended amount of time to receive my food. I will return again. This bacon cheeseburger with bourbon sauce hit the spot for lunch.

    Bourbon burger, burnt onion rings

Casual dining, Pepsi products, full bar. Service was perfect, friendly, acted like she genuinely cared we were there. Unsweetened iced tea, delicious. Mahi tacos, iffy, too dry, spongy as if fish was frozen, not fresh. Avoid. I should have sent back. Housemade slaw, ok. Remoulade was tasty. Bourbon burger was thick, juicy, nice tomato slice, lettuce, cheddar, applewood bacon, bourbon mayo. Cooked to order, medium was more medium well, but was still ok. Onion rings overcooked, burned, server brought fresh after asking us if ok, SMH. If you hesitate to serve, or ask customer about their quality, go with YOUR gut feeling and don't serve them. Just missing the mark, but will try again for something different on next visit.

If you're looking for a good place to dine outside and enjoy a great burger, this is a very good option. The dining room here is not my first choice, I would prefer to dine on the outside patio. Although they do have 2 patios, one enclosed for winter weather months, the open patio is much more relaxing. I found the enclosed patio to be quite loud. The pretzel rolls are a good starter, but very filling and definitely something that can feed the entire table. I really enjoyed the bourbon burger, it was cooked a bit on the rare side, just as I like and the applewood bacon is definitely a nice touch. Great burgers, great drinks and very friendly staff! Cheers!

Good bar to grab good food and drinks right in Downtown Clayton! I've eaten here quite a few times since I moved to Clayton in June 2020 and I've always been pleased every time. This is right near downtown Clayton easily accessed from Highway 70 or Flowers Plantation. There's a private parking lot as well as street parking. There's great drink and beer options. I'm not a beer drinker, but my neighbor is and the flight is a great option for tasting. They have a large variety of beers by the bottle and on tap. There's also some great liquor/wine options as well. Now to the important stuff...the FOOD. Really good!! I also love the options. Interesting dishes that you don't find on menus often. The Collard Jalapeño Dip sounds like it would be weird, but it is SOOOO GOOD. You can't really go wrong with anything on this menu honestly. I love the Cobb Salad as well as the chicken sandwich. The food is made well and fresh. If you're in the area, you should definitely try it out!

The business posted a 100.0 Health Inspection form. Took my mom for dinner at 6:30 on a Friday night, staff was handling the crowd pretty efficiently. We had a 5 minute wait then were seated on the outdoor patio. Our server was sweet and attentive. We had their pretzel appetizer which is enough for 6 ppl. The blackened burger was excellent. Mom had a shrimp basket, and it was cooked perfectly. Overall a great experience.

Overall experience wasn't good at all. Owners were rude and the food you're better off getting somewhere else.

Every wall is lined with TVs playing whatever game matters most that night, while dollar bills cover the walls like a scrapbook of good times, tall tales, and nights that ran a little longer than planned. The décor nods proudly (and somewhat creatively) to Irish heritage, with touches of green, classic signs, and a love of good beer doing most of the storytelling. It's a place where locals gather, strangers become regulars fast, and the atmosphere is equal parts loud cheers, friendly debate, and comfortable familiarity. Unpolished, well-worn, and full of character, it's the kind of small-town sports bar where the drinks are cold, the TVs are always on, and everyone feels right at home. The menu leans into its claims of Irish roots with a lineup of familiar pub classics--hearty, comforting dishes that feel right at home alongside a pint. But as solid as those classics may be, the real standout is the good old pub burger. Cooked exactly the way you ask for it--perfectly rare, juicy, and full of flavor--it's the kind of burger that reminds you why simplicity done right always wins. Served up hot and fresh by a friendly face that treats you like a regular, it's not just a meal, it's part of the experience: honest food, genuine hospitality, and a plate that keeps people coming back. Cheers!
