I've been going here for a while. As someone with food allergies I have to be careful where I eat and frequent those I trust. They were kind enough to tell me what I needed to avoid which did limit many things I would have liked to try. However there were other options that turned out to be more than favorite for me. I would give 5 stars except for my experience yesterday. I went with a gift card I had just received. When I tried to pay with it I was told that it could not be accepted because of company policy because gift cards won't go through their machine. She hadn't even tried it. I was lucky that I had enough cash on me to pay the bill. I didn't withhold the tip because she doesn't make the rules but they should prominently post that they don't accept gift credit cards. I hate to think what would have happened if I had only had the amount of cash I usually carry read more

I'm afraid I'm knocking off a few stars right off the bat. Despite a nice location, great venue, and easy parking, our experience was far from stellar. We arrived during a slow time of day--around 3:45 PM for "linner." First issue: a chip in my pint glass cut my lip. They gave me a fresh glass, which I appreciate, but comping something (anything!) for the trouble would have gone a long way. I'm not reviewing the food out of fairness to them , because everything had a (bloody) metallic taste Second issue: the staff "entertainment." Someone went off in the kitchen, yelling loudly enough that it spilled out into the bar area. The unhappy server then proceeded to vent to patrons at the bar. Look, it's Garner--I get it. Having worked in Garner for several years, I know the "Garner Way." Everyone knows everyone, and a strong sense of community exists once you cross the city limits. I love that, and I'm even curious about the history behind the "Cleveland" name in this area (though that's for another review). However, after venting behind the bar to what I assume were regulars, someone finally came out to quiet things down. That same server then made an interesting pivot: since she couldn't vent in the kitchen or at the bar, she pulled out her cell phone right in the middle of the dining area. She stood just far enough away to qualify as outside the bar zone, but close enough for us to hear every detail about her car trouble and personal life. Dinner and a show--Garner style! read more

After many visits to the Garner location, I'll keep coming back. They are consistent in their service, quality of food and comfortable atmosphere. The booths are quite large - perhaps 4 people on each side on some of the big ones. Round tables in the center for families or large groups. There is one wait-staff that stands out to me. Her name is Cheyen, and we are happy while in her section. She is full time, and she knows everything. She accommodates us with extra sauces (in take-home), and even had a BLT rolled in a wrap. That was special. She'll provide drink refills, and even asks us if we want them "to go." Extra napkins, no problem. There is a bar section with pool tables. Looks like fun. read more

Didn't know where we were going and truth be told I wanted to go somewhere else a few miles away but my bride selected this one GREAT CHOICE The food was amazing and the Bloody Mary with bacon was delicious The staff is newer, training, and trying Might be the best ribs I've had in a long time read more

We enjoy dining at this location. Our family started coming here around the first of this year and been eating here several times a month ever since. They recently updated their menu and we love it! Many brisket choices have been added and my son loves that!! I really enjoy the new fish tacos as THEY ARE SO GOOD! One of the managers there (older gentleman we mostly see on the weekends Fri. Sat & Sun) is so nice. We placed a to go order after dining in a few weeks back and the kitchen accidentally made the wrong item. He was so apologetic and he made it right as a great manager does! We are always satisfied with the menu items and quality of the food here! Thank you for providing this area with a wonderful place to eat! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I arrived and ordered a drink, which took over 15 minutes to come out. When my husband joined me he then ordered a drink and an appetizer, but after 45 minutes, neither had arrived--and we still hadn't even had our food order taken. At that point, I waved the waitress down to asked for the check. She hadn't checked on us in 45 minutes and we were still waiting for our drink and appetizer. This was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable serve. After this experience, I won't be returning. read more

It was an alright experience. Solidly average. For $30 plus tip, I had pickle chips, fish & chips and chocolate peanut butter pie. Parking was easy at 2pm. There looks to be a bar and gaming in one room, while another is devoted to dining. I dined. The pickle chips were not greasy and came with ranch dressing. I'm not into ranch dressing, but since this was my first time eating pickle chips, I didn't know what to replace it with. They were good enough and very plentiful. Too much for one person, unless you're the type of one person who eats a lot. The fish & chips were pretty good - the highlight of the meal. But they came with what seemed to be either mayonnaise or sour cream or whatever. I don't know because the dip was totally devoid of flavor. I might have seen a chive... I almost ate it with my hands. Had to ask for a knife and fork...twice. Service was fine and always available, but utensils are pretty much always step one. The pie wasn't much of a win. It had the most flavor of all three courses, but the look and taste simply bled "old." Maybe "old" is a strong word, but by no means can I substitute it with "fresh." No need to return. I imagine the bar scene at night is fun if you're into that sort of thing. Best, A. read more

Food was excellent, servers very attentive and happy to serve! Great environment. Noticing all the servers were friendly and fast.

Disgusting place, I would never go back again I've gone multiple times trying to give it chances but you cannot do anything to fix this place. I've gotten food poisoning from here and OWNER refused to believe it was the food in his building. Mangers cannot handle situations well. Found hair in my food MULTIPLE times had it remade still hair in it. Servers threw straws food came out looking like it was just thrown on the plate and sent out. Fish DISGUSTING tasted OLD!! Brownies are EXPIRED aren't made fresh. ROACHES crawling on kids highchairs, fell from off the ceiling right infront of me in the front, crawled up my leg in the bar. This place is just horrible, shouldn't be up and running with how many complaints have been made. read more

Cleveland Draft House - Garner - Breakfast Burger Monthly special with a side of Super Motz sticks!! - Burgers Near Me - Garner, North Carolina

Met up with friends here for drinks and dinner. It's a local joint with another location in the area but isn't yet at the stage of being a chain despite the glossy menu with fancy beverages. Chicken wings to start were good. Six "hot" wings had a nice kick to them without being too spicy. The blue cheese wasn't that chunky but it was good. For main course, I chose the "Big Rudy" burger which is two beef patties. Easy enough to eat with knife and fork as I'm still doing the keto diet and losing weight. I had a light beer with it. Service was solidly good and they also have a free wifi that worked well. Several screens tuned in to sports. [Review 11935 overall, 1717 of 2019.] read more

We had a great time for our first time here. We sat outside at a lovely table. The service was spot on. I had a Bloody Mary to start, it was delicious. The right amount of spicy with olives and celery. What a deal for $5.00. My sandwich was also a home run, pulled pork with coleslaw on a bun with fries. Great flavor, plentiful portion. Coleslaw not too mayonnaisey, pork flavor great. Fries were hot just how I like them. Waitress was right there when we needed her and disappeared when we didn't. Great meal at such a reasonable price in a fun and super clean restaurant. We will certainly return. read more

Food and service was great as usual! Love it! French dip and beets tips over rice was delicious!

After much coaxing, my husband persuaded me to go back to Cleveland Draft House for a second try. It is conveniently located and we really like the interior. The problem is with the food, it has zero flavor. We ordered mozzarella sticks, they looked good and we started eating, it didn't have any flavor, I also ordered fried shrimp and that didn't have flavor either. I added so much salt and black pepper to my food but alas it didn't do any good. I am begging the owners, please, at minimum invest in kosher salt and a pepper mill to season the food, flour by itself does not have any taste whatsoever. Herbs and spices adds flavor to food, don't be afraid to use them. read more

I'm a returning customer, the food I've had there has been a 5/5. Great Burgers, service was on point. I think though it's time for a remodel on the dining room side, bathrooms. read more

Hey. I wasn't sure if I would give a 3 star or the 4 that I did. The food here is great 75% of the time. My son came to visit us with his wife & 2 kids and I had told him that we can go to Cleveland Draft House and the baby back ribs are excellent. We took everyone out to eat and the wives & kids ordered what they wanted and said their meals were good ( not delicious). Matt ( my son) and I had some of the large selection of beer while our ribs were cooking. What a disappointment that night. Tasted (bland & chewy). Didn't "fall off the bone" . I don't go there as often but not much else around rt. 42 & 50. read more

I've been to this location more than once let's just leave it at that. I have had the meatloaf and sandwich more than once it tastes good but, it looks like canned dog food. I would recommend eat on site not Togo food. And if you are looking for a cool 50s and up bar to check out this is definitely that type of dive. I will say it is a solid 3 out of 5. It is what it is. read more

Food was really good, servers were friendly. They had a trivia night dj who was fun. We were just passing through but we would go back again

Have been going here for years. Consistent quality food and service . Monthly specials. Comfort food.

I enjoyed this place, and the atmosphere. 4 stars, only because I was cold, however, when the food arrived, I warmed up a bit. The servers, and hostess had a smile when greeted. read more

I came here at 9:00 pm to eat dinner on Friday night. Was told "due to it being slow we closed the dining room?!??!" But I could sit (nowhere) in the packed bar to eat. You couldn't keep one server on until maybe 10 on a Friday??? I can't give you my money if you aren't open to receiving it! read more

This place... Is not for family's. Do NOT bring your kids, your mom, or your grandsons here. We are in town again and it's late...again, for dinner. And MAYBE the juke box only plays trash late at night, idk. But had I brought my kids here and had to eat dinner while listening to Wet A$$ Pu$$y, I would've NOT been happy. Owner dude-what the heck? What was it you said about this establishment? read more

This is usually my favorite place to get a burger...until tonight. My spouse ordered the bacon ranch chicken sandwich, my friend ordered a burger well done & I ordered a burger well done. The bacon chicken ranch sandwich was perfect. Our burgers were raw. We both cut ours in half so that's how we knew. We asked the waitress to take them back but she only heard my friend say hers was raw. It took a while to find our waitress so she could take mine back. We had to ask for her to get new sweet potato fries. Her burger came back & it was a new burger. When they finally brought mine back, it was the same burger & was partially still raw but no new onion rings. I asked for the manager. The manager Tommy came over. He wanted to argue the fact he wanted to argue the fact that got the same burger back. He wouldn't even take the time to listen and pretty much walked away with me just asking for a refund.. he walked away, rolling his eyes and was not apologetic in any sort of way. I would hope for better customer service than what we've got today but oh well won't be there for a while.. read more

We have lived in the area for over 2 years and decided to try Cleveland draft house for the first time...here is our thoughts .. Started with the pretzel appetizer which wasn't bad ..then both of us had French dips ...my expectations were tempered and they proved to be right ..not very good ..tasteless and just not a decent French dip ...maybe some other menu items are better but this wasn't doing it ..the fries were hot and tasty though. Service was spotty , the food server though was very nice. Might be a nice place to watch a game and have a beer but the food wasn't up to par. read more

We go to the one on HWY 42 and I can say we have never had a bad meal or a bad experience there. The service is always great, the employees are wonderful. I don't think this place gets the credit they deserve. Dining room on one side, bar area on the other with pool tables and games. Just depends on what you want. We are, and will be, a dedicated customer. read more

I just moved in down the street, so I was very excited to try the food here. I was so disappointed. My husband and I got the ginormous pretzel app, which was definitely big, but was way overcooked, and the pub cheese tasted like it came from a bag. I got the cowboy burger, it was large but had no flavor and fries weren't good either. My husband got The buffalo chicken sandwich, the chicken was a great size but had little to no sauce on it and wasn't even crispy. I would love to see The food improve here, but for now I'm not coming back. read more

Family has been ordering take out from here for years. Good service, typically solid food. Lately food is just not as good. Had the meatloaf and meat was lower quality and green beans were very salty. I guess all restaurants are dealing with inflation, but please don't reduce quality to 3 stars. Would suggest adding a few new menu items. 4 stars, as we need restaurants in this area and I like this one. read more

I think it depends when you get there and if you're planning on getting food at the bar or in the dining room with your family. My family waited for 45 minutes to be the last people seated in the dining room. We waited for quite a while to get our food and by the time it arrived my mothers French dip was cold to the touch. She didn't end up telling the waitress because she was very flustered and rarely visited the table. She ended up not eating it but the rest of the group was finished with their food by the time the waitress came back. read more

We ate there today. Have always loved their onion rings. Today, they tasted like they were cooked with pancake batter. The crust was thick, soft, and bready. I doubt we'll be back since they are also discontinuing my husband's favorite beer, which is a local brew, so seems crazy. read more

This place is great. I only went to get something to eat with my family. The service was quick and friendly. The large menu had something for all of us. There are big booths that fit 8 people. Next time I go, I'll try the beers. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Prior to COVID they had fair prices and the food was alright. Nice variety of choices but hit or miss on quality. Since then we have done take away and it has been slow and poor. Ordered online which was nice, but not easy. Times were not accurate. Last time we ate there we did dine in and found that the prices have been raised significantly and yet the quality was worse. We have not been back and may never go again. read more

We go to this location very often and they never have a wait. We always sit on the left with the dining side and are greeted promptly by our waitress every time we go. I've gotten everything from wings to the fish sandwich (which is huge!). Lately I've gotten their burgers which are great. We plan to keep this location as one of our go tos! read more

If you want to have to wait on yourself, this is the place for you. Terrible service. Waitresses stand around with their hands on their hips staring right at you, but won't wait in you. If there was a negative star rating I'd put thaplaPlaced a "to go"order and was told that order would be 15 mins.
