The HOT DOGS!!! And the cold beer! Place is fun and clean. Get in here! Bartender is rad and better than great service.

Green tea shot and their renown hotdog.

This place is great! I came here as a back up, and it's now a spot I have to come back to! Great hot dogs, and great drinks. Along with the bartender being very welcoming.

McKinley's is a Clayton anchor! Tucked into the heart of town, this old-school sports bar feels…read morelike it's been here forever--in the best way possible. Every wall is lined with TVs playing whatever game matters most that night, while dollar bills cover the walls like a scrapbook of good times, tall tales, and nights that ran a little longer than planned. The décor nods proudly (and somewhat creatively) to Irish heritage, with touches of green, classic signs, and a love of good beer doing most of the storytelling. It's a place where locals gather, strangers become regulars fast, and the atmosphere is equal parts loud cheers, friendly debate, and comfortable familiarity. Unpolished, well-worn, and full of character, it's the kind of small-town sports bar where the drinks are cold, the TVs are always on, and everyone feels right at home. The menu leans into its claims of Irish roots with a lineup of familiar pub classics--hearty, comforting dishes that feel right at home alongside a pint. But as solid as those classics may be, the real standout is the good old pub burger. Cooked exactly the way you ask for it--perfectly rare, juicy, and full of flavor--it's the kind of burger that reminds you why simplicity done right always wins. Served up hot and fresh by a friendly face that treats you like a regular, it's not just a meal, it's part of the experience: honest food, genuine hospitality, and a plate that keeps people coming back. Cheers!

I normally do not like leaving bad reviews and very rarelyeave such a low score especially.on a place I like normally. We were seated right away which was nice since there were busy. It was at least 5 minutes before our waitress came and asked us for our drink orders, maybe longer. She seemed to be having a bad night, very unfriendly no smile, was very avious she was not happy. She brought us our drinks and asked of we were ready. They had the boneless wing speacial so wife and daughter got those and I got 12 Jumbo hot wings. They also ordered salads and I ordered loaded potato skins for an appetizer. It seemed to take forever, which I was understanding since there were busy. Eventually the salads came. Wait the ranch dressing for the wings came out 1st. As they ate thier salads I wondered if maybe she didn't get my order for the potato skins.... Eventually she bought 2 orders of wings.my daughters 12 and a big plate of wings. She was like yea the kitchen is crazy this is what they sent. It was a whole bugbplatebof boneless wings. She then brought my jumbo wings. I asked her did you not get my potato skins order... she non-shalontly said yea I got them, im waiting on them and she said something abiutbtheres a new guy training and blames them. We'll no because potato skins were way over cooked the top was dark and the inside were dark as well. My wife tried one and my daughter wouldn't even touch them. The boneless wings were so dry and over cooked. My wings looked ok but they were also hit wings so the were drenched in buffalo sauce as they should be. They ok a little over cooked but we're ok. The Boneless wings were over cooked and dry. The atmosphere was typical of a trivia night which was good. The waitress was horrible no personality almost an attitude even though I tried being nice. No thank you.no have a good night, nothing. I understand people have bad days but if your in the business you just cant be this way. I love this place except for the bathroooms.. which I wish they would update thier bathrooms. I hope maybe if they read this review they can adjust. Yes we got sone extra wings for whatever reason but they were still sry and overcooked.

The warm edison bulbs flicker to life as if they've been waiting just for you, casting lazy shadows across blue walls and gilded mirrors. A hush of soft laughter drifts from a nearby corner where friends lean close, their glasses catching light like captured constellations. Velvet armchairs and couches cradle quiet conversations, while behind the bar, bottles gleam with impossible colors; one even glows, ever so slightly, when the bartender passes. You can't tell if it's the lighting or a trick of magic--and you don't really want to know. They call it whimsical, but really--it's their Old Fashioned. The kind of drink that feels less made and more summoned. When they craft it, there's a ceremony to the motion: sugar stirred just so, bitters dashed with the precision of a spell mark, a single twist of orange releasing its perfume like a secret. The bartender doesn't rush. She moves with the calm assurance of someone who knows time bends for good cocktails. You will find your seat in one of the several cozy alcoves, each space hums with quiet enchantment. Don't forget the food out back, part settled, part wizard of flavor, the food truck delights with gluten-free magic for everyone. Every dish is crafted so well, you'll forget it's "free" of anything--except compromise. Clayton is lucky to have this upscale hideaway where alchemy meets ambiance and every sip feels like a small enchantment. Cheers!

Good food, good and cheap drinks, fun games, even better vibes! I always have a good time here! The staff is kind and fun, and I always enjoy them! The drinks are your basic bar drinks, but they have a lot of great options for cocktails that aren't expensive or too fancy. The arcade games are fun for all ages, so this is also a place you can bring your family during the day, which is something different for the area. I wouldn't suggest small kids later at night...it is still a bar. As far as food goes, it's really good for a small kitchen as they have. I usually order the Cheat Code, which is their twist on cheese sticks that has bacon and is drizzled with hot honey. So delicious! The pizza is great, as well as the dips and nachos. They've got rotating specials, so make sure to check those out when you go. Some nights they have a DJ, so it can get loud, especially on Last Fridays, but I love how different it is from the other places. I love Downtown Clayton, and this adds a little more variety as well!
