Our cousin took us to a local Irish restaurant which was not the "Southern" restaurant that I wanted to go to or so I thought. We were warmly greeted at Napper Tandy's and seated right away. Our server, Erin Smith was friendly and very accomodating. We visited family in Ireland a few years ago and were familiar with a traditional Irish Pub and Napper Tandy's felt like being in Ireland. It is warm, friendly and a fun place to enjoy. We each had a Ruben sandwich with house made potato chips which hit the spot nicely. If you are in the Angier area you will enjoy a visit to Napper Tandy's and don't forget to say hello to Erin Smith.

I even saw people with little children come in. The menu is large and varied and the prices are reasonable. I was very tempted to try the fish and chips.... The tables were clean and they had different sizes and high tops. I went for a burger and there were some nice choices . I rarely eat many fries but our adorable waitress said they were good, so I went for it. SO glad I did!! My burger was cooked perfectly and I could tell with the first bite it was not a frozen patty. Exceptional!!! The fries were amazing as well. I actually ate quite a few and there were plenty to share with my family. He got a Philly cheesesteak and loved it . It looked fresh and had tons of cheese. We will be back for sure, but I will call first to be sure Nelli is working. Nelli is so helpful, knowledgeable. cheerful, attentive, professional and kind. She is an excellent example of a perfect waitress! I enjoyed her so much and was so glad they were not super busy so we could talk some. We will be back with more family next time!!!

They have expanded over the years and always seem to have a place to sit. There is a bar which is always pretty full. Plenty of monitors around to catch your game, even in dining area. We had a group of 6 and was seated immediately and took care of by Sarrah. We ordered sodas and waters except me, PBR. Elected to start with Nachos as an app. It was ok but seem to be missing a little more cheese. The food order was Fish & Chips, Beef Sliders, Reuben Sandwich, Pimento Bacon Burger and basket of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything came out at once and was medium hot. Sarrah stayed ontop of drink refills and checked in regularly. I do say wish there was a little more pimento cheese on burger, hardly tasted it. Sorry for no pics, too much talking with family. Will be back in future.

We got 18 wings which you can choose 3 sauces for- we chose honey bbq, awesome sauce, and gold rush. We also got a plate of fried shrimp that came with two sides and we chose a side caesar and fries. For apps we got the shrimp and grits fritters. The total was around $55 for all of these items which was good. The shrimp and grits fritters were so good. This was a unique menu item that i've never had anywhere before and each bite was creamy and had a piece of shrimp in it. The fried shrimp was crispy and seasoned great. The side caesar doesn't look like much, but I tossed it in the dressing the next day and had it with some chicken and it was great. It was also a big portion for a side. The fries were perfect as well. The wings were cooked great. We loved the gold rush and honey bbq the most. The only thing I wish was that it was a bit more saucier. I would definitely come back again and it was a great late night find. We called the order in and it was ready within 15 minutes and perfectly warm.

If you want to go play pool, obviously this is the place to go. It's a pretty clean location that…read moredoesn't smell like a dirty bathroom. You walk in and you have tables and look on your right and there's plenty of pool tables to pick from. There is a pretty large bar that during the time we were there had three bartenders. I used the restroom while my husband and his friend went up to the bar and apparently there was a bit of an issue with the snarky bartender. I'm not sure why there would be an issue with ordering the drinks. Two vodka lemonades is pretty basic. They both found those drinks disgusting. Ordering drinks the rest of the time we were there was like pulling teeth. if you can't pull one out you try to go to another one and then another one and yet you still can't get anywhere. That was our experience with these bartenders. I went up there and asked the female bartender for two Bacardi Cokes. She disappeared to the other side of the bar and started serving other people. She never made our drinks. Then the snarky bartender came up to me and I asked him for the same two drinks. He said OK give me a minute..... I'm standing up there for 10 minutes and he's literally just serving everybody else. He never served me the two drinks. The guys at the bar next to me, started making comments about how horrible the bartenders are, and they started to yell at the bartender to get their attention. Very nice gentleman. Another bartender took my exact same order and he made me two Bacardi Cokes served in beer glasses. One shot of Bacardi and way too much coke served in a beer glass. From a previous bartender this is extremely incorrect. The correct way to handle it is, asking if you wanted one shot or two shots And would you like it in a tall or short glass? If you don't ask automatically, you should have it in a short glass with one shot of Bacardi and a couple of shots of Coke from your spray gun. I'm also going to take a wild guess that they have not cleaned the spraygun in a very long time because the quality of sodas that were coming out of it were pretty bad. Clean your bar correctly. I'm guessing nobody really gives a shit. We came here to play pool, order quite a few drinks because these two men can handle a there liquor and just hang out on this Thanksgiving weekend. It wasn't even busy. The lack of quality gives you my three star review because of how horrible all three of your bartenders were. I should've minus a star per bartender. I have never seen multiple bartenders just completely spaced out and forget that you even placed an order with them... at the same bar. Whatever you're on dude you need to layoff on the stuff.

Yikes, this was... Bad…read more I don't write reviews very often anymore unless it's for something really exceptional or something really bad, unfortunately this is for something really bad. I put in my order online and then went down, I had never been there before. When I walked in the place was kind of dark and dingy. That being said, they were very courteous and moved quickly. That's the only positive note I can give. Someone came out and told me that two of the items I had ordered, the barbecue bourbon beans and colored greens had not been on the menu for months. I asked why they are still on the website and I can still order them then and he replied "I guess they didn't update the website" I subbed for mac & cheese and tater tots. I also got the brisket and my fiancé got a salad and a Bavarian pretzel. The brisket was the most dry and underwhelming brisket I have ever had. I was so bummed out. Their sauces were pretty good, so I just soaked the brisket in the sauces and choked it down. The mac & cheese was Stone cold, the tater tots were soft and everything tasted as if it had been reheated in the microwave. My fiancé's salad was, no joke, about 40% lettuce and 60% cheese with a few cucumbers. Also very underwhelming. She said the pretzel was "meh". Didn't taste fresh and just wasn't good overall. I added a picture of the brisket so you can see how dry it was. I thought going to local barbecue in North Carolina was a sure bet because even the worst barbecue places are still pretty solid in NC, but this is not one of them. I didn't check yelp beforehand, my mistake. Stay away.
