The only thing they don't have on the buffet is beef brisket, which is what we love, but all the food that we got the shredded pork, ribs, barbecue chicken, vegetables, bread...everything was really good. It's an odd place to have a barbecue restaurant, but it was definitely enjoyable. The service was excellent and they were very good about keeping the place clean. Being able to watch the airplanes land and takeoff was just an extra bonus.

There are indoor & outdoor seating options but we wanted to sit inside since it was humid. When dining outdoors you can view the planes taking off at the johnson regional airport. We both got the buffet. On the weekends, the buffet is more. We paid $25. You can add two pieces of brisket for an additional $13. Unfortunately we were not impressed with the buffet. Many of the food items including the greens were not seasoned. The mashed potatoes, steak, and fried chicken were ok. And the hush puppies and cornbread weren't bad. The corn, banana pudding, baked beans, and Mac & cheese weren't good.

This was my first time having a liege waffle, it was sweet and heavier than I expected, and went well with the chicken tenders (which were fried and seasoned to perfection, I did not expect a waffle place to have some of the best fried chicken I've had in a while). We got to meet one of the owners, Reed, before we left, and he was so sweet and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be making a trip back out to try some different waffles!
