this place was the worst place i've been at. people working there were rude and disrespectful. i would not be coming back here.

So, I know the Waffle House isn't something you to be a five star dining experience. HOWEVER you do look forward to the location being clean. We arrived, nobody was there. That should have been the red flag - when is the Waffle House without customers?! Most of the tables still had plates and food from prior diners. It's no secret in our family that our Mimi has become a Waffle House enthusiast since moving to North Carolina, so now you'll see my reviews of the various WH locations around Raleigh Durham. This location today had us both delighted, starting with Deja opening the door to welcome us in & stellar service from Liz and Rebecca. They were both so kind and friendly through the duration of our meal from start to finish. The food was perfectly prepared and presented and the coffee is always on point. When we were leaving the building, they told us "you're family now!". Big hugs to these individuals for sharing good feels on this day, something we see so rarely in this day and age. Well, it's Waffle House. If you're expecting A+ food quality, this isn't the place for you. The waffles are good but thin and not crispy. Soft like a pancake. The bacon is so crispy, it's brittle and false to pieces when you bite it. Hashbrowns were burnt on one side and probably the cheapest things they could buy. Great breakfast place with incredible waffles and hash browns with toppings . And eggs and meats. I like the ambiance because it's like a chaos that is under control or an orchestra working together. The servers work well with each other and assist each other, too. read more

Thank you Courtney for service and music while we devour our All-Star Specials. This location was nice, clean and cool with a wonderful staff. Courtney was happy to greet my fiancé and I with a warm smile as she took our order. She also offered suggestions for our hash brown, eggs and pancakes. My reason for not giving the full 5 stars is because everything came out quick except or waffles. We waited patiently for them but by the time we did get our waffles my fiancé was all done with his food. I would rate this Waffle House a 4.5 star. read more

After a recent bad experience at a local Waffle House we were debating coming here, but the continental breakfast at the Super 8 was so bad and the coffee the worst we had ever drank, we had to have a good breakfast and some good coffee before heading home. Food is generally good at any Waffle House, its always the service that's iffy. I can range from excellent to horrible and every where in between. But we were glad we stopped in. Food was good and our server Angela was friendly and very attentive. Some of the best service we have had in a Waffle House in a very long time! Coffee was very good especially after that used motor oil Super 8 served us! If we are back in this area we would stop in again and hope that Angela or another server as good as her waits on us. read more

Open 24/7 including Christmas and New Year's Eve with freshly made hot comfort foods, efficient service, clean decor and bathroom, open kitchen, free ample parking lot conveniently located near a BP gas station, etc. The highlights were the sunny side eggs with a toasted wheat bread slice and grits. read more

I still stand by the fact that the Waffle house is a good place to eat breakfast. But this visit was terrible. Our server, Nate clearly was new to serving. But I can overlook being new, it was the lack of team effort by the other staff members. To me it was like they were setting him up to fail. I'm assuming the lady that wears the white coat is of authority and yet until the head Kevin came in, she wasn't helping the rest of the staff other than cleaning tables off. Which I noticed she did so by sitting down. Too lax. The gentlemen manning the bacon/meat station undercooked the bacon and it had a fishy taste to it. He had come to our table and offered us free bacon. I believe he was being friendly and nice, but free or not, bad bacon is still bad bacon. What I noticed cause I was therw too long was that the staff wasn't acting like a team until Kevin showed up. And then they were falling over each other. The people manning the grill weren't wearing gloves and when Kevin came in one guy went to the back to grab a box and then they put them on. At the end our bill was written up wrong. My husband went up to counter to take care of. I had gone to use the restroom I come out to him paying more, they blond woman said he owed more. I told my husband that she was wrong but let's pay and get out of here. If you read this Waffle House or Kevin, my suggestion would be a few more older people working so there some proper adults supervising also another white coat. And TEAM work. No one should be thrown into the trenches when in training. Waffle House is normally a great place but unfortunately this was not a good moment. read more

We've traveled extensively and always find time for WH. This one is particularly good with good customer service and well prepared food. We always get our special order perfectly done here as opposed to many other WHs. We also go off peak so we are sure to get a booth! read more

We were honored to have the lovely Gloria as our waitress, as well as running a tight ship as she looked like Manager of the most genuinely friendly joint I've been in awhile. As were the rest of the waffle houses in this area including the one in Benson at 6 o'clock they shut down half the restaurant and either do not fill the sections that are left open and tell you as you walk in the door "it's going to be a while" discouraging you from staying or tell you "take out only" while only two of the remaining booths are taken and the counter is available. Three times in a month. Three strikes Waffle House. If every other restaurant in the area has staff you have to either not be hiring or don't appreciate the staff you have. We stopped there while traveling,we have been in 2 during our destination. This one is bY far the dirties. The syrup container was glued to the napkin dispenser with old syrup. I wish I had of asked the servers name ,she was horribly mannered, I asked for a clean syrup container and she acted like I was robbing her. Short Spanish girl stay away from her station. Avoid 3rd shift when a certain individual is cooking. The language that carries on in the presence of customers is quite disturbing and serves as an embarrassment for any establishment. This restaurant came a long way from its filth before the remodel. Seeing it took gutting it to get it clean should serve as a notice it will be back to its original smelly nasty in appearance establishment. If you watch closely, syrup and dirty dishes can be observed on tables and counters for hours. The grill operator doesn't cook orders according to your preference and if mentioned, you will have to hear his mouth. read more

Our server was so sweet! We felt bad for her because of one of the cooks named Alicia. She was so rude to everyone calling the orders to her . She was taking about how she was going to end up killing someone by the end of the night and how she just needed something to take the edge of( aka drugs).
