I had breakfast with my family at the time of paying I gave the cashier my discount card from shopRiverside she only gave me a 10 percent off I asked to speak to the manager by the way her name Isabel I ask her should I get a 15-20 percent off she said only entitled to 15 percent off the price before tax well I said ok I got home and I knew I wasn't getting my discount. So I decide to look for my discount book found it and now in April these people don't know their discount from crew members to management just posting pictures. Of discount if you have the card to receive 20 percent off other then that the service was good food was good wait time was 45 min but it was a party of 8 so understandable read more

I have been to many Denny's restaurants and they are... all the same. If anything their portions here are a little less than the other places. Their salads are pretty good and their desserts are delicious (banana spilts). The staff are very nice and friendly. The devices on the tables make it easier to order and pay. read more

So far... Service sucks. Asked for a spoon to stir my coffee and waiter said "they're making them, they ran out." Wanted to enjoy a nice family brunch but I realize I should have taken them down the street to IHOP. Updated post: Waiter lost my order, he is confused & disoriented. It has been 60 minutes and he just realized he lost our order. Please do not come here. Highly disappointed. read more

I normally don't take the time to do this so this is an exception. I was so impressed with my server today that I decided to take the time, according to my receipt her name is Berta D, few servers check up on you often enough to make sure your experience is exceptional. She was excellent and I couldn't have asked for more. I hope management values her skill and take care of her as an employe. GOOD JOB Berta! Oh yes, a 110% tip on this one read more

Jose made this the best experience anyone in my party has had at any Dennys. The portions were also great! Jose is incredible at his job and he set the bar very high for our expectations in the future. I can't say enough nice things about Jose, excellent service, very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu. He even made us a special strawberry syrup because one of us had said how we wished it was the menu! read more

Very clean Dennys!! Tables, bathrooms, floors, booths, even syrup dispenser! Very good, friendly service, Janice P. Was very efficient and accommodating. Got the $4 slam. Yes, $4! Two really good hot buttermilk pancakes, two eggs (got mine poached, cooked perfectly), came with sausage or bacon, I upgraded to apple Gouda sausage for 0.49. Very good. Always great Denny's unlimited coffee, asked me if I wanted more coffee in to go cup. Yes indeedy. This Dennys is definitely going to be a regular habit. read more

I'm not going to lie , in the past i've received terrible service and didn't think I would come back . I went today with my husband and kids because we haven't had it since before the pandemic . The service was great . The waitress was kind and took special care of my kids and made sure we had everything that we needed . A waiter that just got done serving another table walked over and asked us how our day was going . It was nice and seemed genuine . They def turned things around , and for the better . read more

The service is amazing! The employees are quick and confident with the job! But unfortunately... I found a fly in my food. I can't tell if I bit half of it off, or if this is a small fly. It only had 1 wing after I finished munching on my meal. So I think I ate the other one. That shit sucks, kinda ruins the whole denny experience. I know it's not the employees faults, but I'll probably never eat here again because I'm irrationally paranoid now. Sorry. read more

My family and I love Denny's, and we've been regulars for ages. The reason? Our awesome server, Daniel. He's like a friend who makes every visit feel warm and welcoming. Daniel anticipates our needs, keeps our coffee cups full, and serves our meals with a smile. Thanks to him, Denny's isn't just about food; it's about creating great memories together. We're grateful for his fantastic service! read more

great visit. super food. and looked after by the wonderful and cute Hailey S ! Great service and a clean place to stop by on our drive.

I've gone to this Denny's for many, many years. It's disappointing when I place a take out order and it's wrong or incomplete! Unfortunately, this has happened a few times before. When I've called back the only solution is to come back and we'll complete your order. Why wasn't it correct the first time? And do you really think once I've gotten home I want to turn right back around to get the rest of my order?! There has to be a better solution for fixing their mistake. I went in today to pick up my order and the manager kept telling different people to help me and no one was listening to him. Finally a girl came by and he told her to help and she checked me out. Talk about feeling not welcomed! Once I paid I asked if my order was complete and she said yes. I should have know better than to take her word for it, especially at this location. 3 items were ordered and 2 were incomplete! For the Ultimate Omelette I added avocado, and was charged for it, and it was missing. My sourdough bread, which comes with my order, was also missing :( To make things worse I ordered Banana Creme Pancakes and they looked utterly depressing. Totally unappetizing! You'd think with a small order more care would be put in to not getting it wrong, but that doesn't seem to be a priority. It wasn't even busy this morning! I called to let them know my order was incorrect and the manager didn't even take my call. The person who took my order did and she offered to have me go pick up the rest of my order. It's not entirely her fault, the cooks have to be careful to make the orders correctly as well! Regardless, I felt her solution was unacceptable, so she took my name and number and said the manager would call me back because he was too busy at the moment. Still waiting for his call... read more

I'm giving Denny's a 3/5 because I have varying experiences with each visit. Sometimes the service is flawless: fast seating, quick service, and delicious food. My go-to meal is the 'Moons over my Hammy' sandwich. However, sometimes it's not. One time there was a homeless man passed out next to the entrance door (obviously on some form of drugs, I mean that's Riverside for you). Ignoring that because it's out of the restaurant's control, the waiting list to be seated was really out of order. I had just entered the restaurant and got seated before other people who had clearly been sitting there for a while. The waiting room also gets really crowded, which is made worse from people trying to pay at the same register that people are trying to put in their name at. I've had times where I waited a while to be served at my table. Overall I think Denny's is too expensive, just as other diners. For the quality of food I think most of the options should be price reduced, especially because adding sides really racks up the cost. The issues with the restaurant definitely is NOT with the workers, but rather the organization/rules of business of which they have no control over and are obligated to follow. On a brighter note, they are open 24/7 so if you're hungry and nothing is open, you can go to Denny's. read more

Great food and excellent serving time, but waiters took a while to get to us despite not being very crowded

Even though this Denny's is located in the UV right by the UCR campus, I think I've only been here twice last year. I sorta feel destined to be scantily clad each time I'm here. One time it was after my formal and I had changed into a pink sorta lowcut tank top and black short shorts, and so it was like 7 AM and my date and I ended at Denny's. And I secretly found it amusing because he was still in his black dress shirt with the tie still on, I think, and black dress pants. I'm sure I must have looked like a prostitute. The other time, it was a late night grubbing after clubbing. I was in shiny, black clubbing attire. I think that's enough said. I'm totally off topic but who caresss. As for the actual food and service here... well, it's Denny's, I like Denny's. I think the service is good. Oh wait I remember one other time I was here. I was NOT wearing revealing clothes. Whew. read more
