Came here on 5/15/2024 at 10am. Was served by server Kennyon. He is literally the worst server I ever had. He forgot my order (brought me pancake instead of toast), failed to refill my coffee despite me asking him for a coffee refill, did not bring me a small box despite me asking for it, and on top of that, he dropped silverware on the table as he was picking up the finished plate. He really needs to do something else besides serving. read more

Great service and got a table as soon as we arrived. The wait staff outstanding service. The food was hot and delicious and we didn't have to wait long. Gotta say our server, Miguel was on point. Friendly and came by often to see if anything else was needed. Gotta say I would come back again if I was in the area. We are passing through to California but I'm glad we had breakfast here instead of in the hotel. FYI all calories are listed for everything for those who track their macros like I do. read more

I ordered the Salmon from the senior menu . Leo was my server . The salad was large . Within a minute of my finishing it my hot food was brought out . I noticed Leo noticed as soon as I was done . The broccoli was a large amount. I didn't care for it , but I don't like broccoli, I'm 72 so I eat it for health reasons . I don't know how you can prepare it so it tastes good . I've tried for years . The salmon , served with garlic toast was some of the best I tasted . I was surprised. When I ate it with the broccoli, they both tasted good together . I left a cash tip , which benefits the server more than adding it to your bill . Great service . read more

One star because we can't give less. Came in and the greeter set us at our table and left our menus. She left. No one else came back for a half of an hour. We saw other employees. We didn't even offer us water. We were sat at the table and ignored. We walked out and as we walked out the same greeter ( finally with a smile) said " Thanks guys. Have a good night. Worst service ever. Ever 2 minutes we were hounded and rushed to place an order, I had to keep sending the boy away as we clearly weren't ready still looking through the menus. We finally ordered and it took an absurd amount of time to get the food and when we got the food my food was particularly cold like I mean the biscuit was icy... we packed up my husbands food which he could easily reheat as it was dinner food... mine was a breakfast with eggs over easy which obviously would be disgusting if I reheated it at home which the soul pourpose of todays visit at this location was my BIRTHDAY MEAL and I left completely disappointed not having been able to take a single bite of the food I ordered for myself but they still forced me to pay for it after getting up immediately after the waiter walked away because how long the wait was the food was ice cold yet I got screwed on my own BIRTHDAY HOW DARE THESE PEOPLE.... Breakfast for dinner? I'm absolutely down for that! Denny's produces pretty good breakfasts; they're not outstanding, but they're not bad either. Their interior looks like a diner with booths and standard tables throughout their restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated. We browsed through their standard menu and during so, I noticed their limited time Holiday Menu. After looking through that, I was sold on their Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast, which included two buttermilk pancakes with a cinnamon crumb topping and whipped cream. It also included a small pitcher of warm cream cheese icing along with two eggs, hash browns and a choice of two bacon strips or sausage. I chose sausage. My room mate decided to get their Slamburger with Bacon Cheddar Tots. We both also ordered their Oreo Milkshake. After our food arrived, we dug right in. My Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were pretty good. It was very sweet, especially with the maple syrup. If you have a serious sweet tooth, then this is for you. If you don't fancy super sweet foods, then I'd recommend sticking with their regular buttermilk pancakes. I'm glad it was accompanied with eggs, hash browns and sausage. The saltiness from the sausage and the crisp the of hash browns were a nice compliment to the sweet pancakes. My room mate seemed to also enjoy her Slamburger. Lastly the Oreo Milkshakes were undoubtedly my favorite part of our meal. It wasn't too sweet like how my pancakes were, but just sweet enough to make you wanting more. We normally come to this dennys for a few years now, but ever since new owner ship this place is crap everyone seems like their running with their heads cut off, it take a long to get seated once we got seated it took them 15 minutes just ask for beverages, honestly won't come here no more no gets greeted. read more

I visited your Reno restaurant and was seated with (Jami E.) as my server. WOW Great Service. She was efficiently managing our meal, checked back with us, follow up and was polite and professional. We've been here a couple of times before and our past visits had been very good hence why we came back today...but we just had the worst experience at this Denny's location. We had 3 different families and we sat separately within each family group. For my experience, when we sat down we got our drink order taken within a few minutes. While they went to grab our drinks one of the other families was barely getting their table. (This is when the bad experience starts) the other family got sat and they ordered their drinks as well. They took about 20 minutes to just bring the drinks to our table. I had ordered a sweet cream cold brew and they handed to me a black cold brew with no cream in it, while she gave me the drink she said "here's your sweet cream cold brew". By the way our other family group that had gotten sat after us got their drinks way before us. The waitress also then took our order and we waited for the longest time to finally get our food. When we got it, the orders were wrong and they hadn't even made my daughter's order. We began to eat when a family member from the other group came to our table to let us know they were leaving because they had asked the waitress how much longer it was gonna take for their food to come out when she let them know that their food hadn't even begun to get prepared yet! I was pleasantly surprised! The service was good from the moment we walked in the door until we left. Very professional, constant refills of water and personable staff. The new pancake breakfast combos are delicious. The is truly the first time I have ever received something bigger than the picture on the menu. We tried the salted caramel with banana creme pancakes and the berry pancakes. Both come with your choice of meat, 2 eggs and hash-browns. Both types of pancakes had great flavor and were very filling. This visit really makes me consider other Denny's in the future. read more

Ok here's the skinny on what's going on at this Dennys. New owners, they are the same couple that own the Sparks Dennys. That should tell you something right there. The last owners sold a couple of months ago to them and service has gone down hill ever since. I waited 45mins for our food today, we thought we would give them another chance. NOPE...won't be going back there anymore. And from the looks of our options, Wells st. My daughter and I have been coming to this Dennys for a few years once a month when family is in town. We went in today and we're seated next to a group of employees who kept cussing and being inappropriate my father asked them to stop because there is a child present (6 year old daughter) and they immediately got loud with him and continued to cuss at him. When he went to complain, the manager said there is nothing he could do. The group proceeded to get up and one female got in my face cussing at me I had done nothing not even made eye contact. Calling me all types of names, racist slurs and a slut. Threading to have her boyfriend come "beat our ass" I am 6 months pregnant. And the manager still did nothing it is disgusting what happened I can't believe the manager would stand behind an employee who treated a customer like that. read more

We visited family for xmas and stopped in for lunch the day before. It was understandably slammed, but the front host and mgr were on their game. Polite and professional, we didn't actually have to wait long. When we sat down, our server was also on the ball. Food came out quickly and hot, I was actually impressed for a Denny's. As much as I love ranch dressing and ketchup, it would have been nice to have some butter and syrup to go with my two orders that included pancakes. I placed this order online for take-out. When I picked it up, I asked the man that gave it to me if it had been double-checked yet, and he said yes. The food was correct, but the condiments were for the wrong order. Now, I do understand that this is a first world complaint, but it was frustrating that the server either didn't check the order or didn't pay attention, and we ended up eating dry pancakes back at the hotel. Dropped off the hubby's car for repairs last Wednesday morning so we decided to go to breakfast on the way home. Haven't been to this Denny's in a couple of years so we thought we would stop in and grab a bite. We were greeted and seated right away. The server came by, introduced herself, and took our drink order. A minute later someone else came by the table to ensure our drink order had been taken. Socorro, our server, came back with the coffee & juice and took our order. Nothing fancy here but the food was delivered within 5 minutes and was hot!!! Having food delivered hot will be rewarded with 5 stars every time. Our breakfasts were simple; eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. The food was good and filling. What I liked about this location is the manager greeted everyone and appeared to have a number of regulars. The feel of the restaurant had more of a feeling of a diner not so much a chain which always seems to be impersonal. The staff was very friendly; Socorro was a sweetheart. The staff all seemed to be bilingual. Reasonable prices and discounts provided to veterans.
