We went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. It seemed not too busy, but there was only one server on the floor. We were being careful what we ordered, because now days, if you're not, all of a sudden you have an $80.00 bill without realizing it. Our server, I don't remember his name, wish I did, anyways, he realized that we were trying to keep it at a certain budget. This server showed us how to get what we wanted y ordering lesser cost menu items and such!!! I've NEVER experienced that before. This would of course affect his tip portion of that meal, but he put our needs first!!! The meal was delicious, and I got to sample everything that I wanted! When the bill came, it was right where we had wanted it to be in cost. Because this server went above and beyond what 99.9999% of most servers would have, I tipped his 80% tip!!! Has been awhile since visiting this Denny's. Mainly because last several visits there in late 2025 were miserable experiences. Had moved to going to the Beeline Cafe or ,Piñon Cafe. Both of them lately have been hit or miss on service, staff politeness and food quality. Opted to give Denny's a other shot. So glad that I did. Service provided by Cameron was stellar. Food was good. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars was the booth we were seated at was dirty. We be back to see if they have really "rounded the corner". read more

Restaurant wasn't packed, only saw waitress 2 times, someone else took our order, waitress never checked on us during our meal, she forgot our napkins for the messy wings, someone else had to get them. The store was super busy and very short handed but the guys working were fantastic! They were running around with food, drinks, trying to seat everyone and help them at checkout. keeping everyone happy. The most friendly, helpful, and hardest working young men. I felt welcomed and he verified my order and helped me get just what I wanted he never made me feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Truly this place is a gem! Every time we come to this Dennys, the food is top notch, the hash browns have a perfect crush and savory, they go the extra mile in the kitchen. They pay attention to detail even on the placement of the food on the plate. Everything is clean, and tidy. The staff is so friendly and upbeat. We ordered from this Denny's on our Payson hiking trip because we needed fuel before our next hike. Honestly, the food wasn't too bad. We got 2 Grand Slams, one with the 9-Grain Pancakes instead of the Buttermilk. Let's just say I liked the buttermilk ones much better. He not only greets everyone with a genuine smile while also delivering food and taking orders flawlessly, he continues to check in appropriately, pre-bus tables all while maintaining constant awareness of his surroundings. This Denny's is consistently good & is one of the few 24 hour restaurants in town. You know exactly what you're going to get & the service is great! Many of their deals are amazing! Haven't been to a Denny's in decades, but we got into our motel late one night, hadn't had dinner & it was in the same parking lot. I appreciate that it is one place to go after normal dinner hours to get a decent meal. Their menu is so extensive with so many options, the only complaint I have is they need to add some lighter/healthier options to it. It was hard to find something that fit with my diet, but I did like that they include the calorie counts next to each item. I could swear the last time I ate at one they had a few salads to choose from, but that was so long ago. So we splurged and ordered the Bourbon Chicken Skillet (which was delicious, really loved it) and the chicken tenders with onion rings (was better than expected). We walked in disappointed that it was our only option for dinner that late at night, but were pleasantly surprised by what we got. It works in a small town when you're staying at the motel in the same parking lot & the guys working that night were all so friendly & did great. read more
